    Context, interpretation and creativity. All the things a good reading should be made up of. This was great!
    I have thoughts I'm trying to express without just rehashing your interpretation in other words. I'll return if'n'when I have done so.

    Or: a topical poem dealing with a time-stamped reality. The mother of exiles remains the mother to her sons and daughters, becoming the mother of the domiciled. As open to deconstruction as is Kipling's 'White Man's Burden'.
