Ever since I was a little kid and saw my 1st marching band in person, I was hooked. I was moved to tears because I felt such a passion for percussion when I saw that drumline perform. Growing up I got into playing many different percussion instruments. Everything from the drum kit, timpani, xylophone just to name a few. At age 15 I bought my very own drum kit that was for sale in the local paper ad section for $200. This was many decades ago as I'm only 2 years shy of 60 now. I remember playing to The Stones "Hang Fire" and Martha and The Muffins "Echo Beach" in particular blasting in the background on my stereo. Great days.
Truly incredible coordination! Marching bands are so invigorating to listen to! I feel I must get up and run a marathon now. What beautiful coordination and genius idea to make this picture. Bravo to everyone in that band, you all did a splendid job and it was a treat to watch!!!

They actually did it wrong, they lifted their feet up in the wrong order, the ankle is supposed to pop up after the slide, not before it, that’s the trick to doing the dance. I say this as someone who knows how to do a moonwalk. This is what most people get wrong when they try to do it, and why they don’t look like they’re actually guiding.
This is incredible and whoever choreographed this has goals that we will never understand I'd say that they're a step ahead of everyone else, but due to the performance they're two steps back 👏

I can't even imagine the amount of practice it took to get this right! Nailing the choreography with the others and the coordination to keep playing while doing the formation must have been insane.

This is one of the biggest things I miss about being in a marching band! Whenever we'd do symbols - moving pinwheels, etc - people would love it! This was more complex than what my band was doing, but it's definitely doable with the right choreographer.

I can't even imagine the amount of practice it took to get this right! Nailing the choreography with the others and the coordination to keep playing while doing the formation must have been insane.
So many unnecessary details makes this incredible, the choreographer really did cut no corners!

This is one of the biggest things I miss about being in a marching band! Whenever we'd do symbols - moving pinwheels, etc - people would love it! This was more complex than what my band was doing, but it's definitely doable with the right choreographer.
I’m in marching band and just did a show called “mechanized” maybe if you search it up you could find it. It was at Ford Field
