The Elder Scrolls Online just released their new Chapter, Gold Road, on PC/Mac, and we’re checking it out today! It’s coming to Xbox and PlayStation on June 18. Purchase Gold Road at beth.games/454GEjs. Thanks to Bethesda for sponsoring today’s video.
Your videos are top notch. The editing, clarity, voice and demeanor are among the best on the platform. Even though I don’t play the game anymore, I love watching your content. Keep up the good work sir!
I'll check the video when I have the time later, but did they really provide us with alternatives? :O I kept saying on the forums how I hate certain skills like Flawless Dawnbreaker, Trap, Hunter etc. can't find a single end-game build without them! Another problem is slayer passive of Fighter's Guild, sadly no matter the alternative.. I feel trap will still be superior, but options.. more options are nice.
I used Shield Throw with physical damage, multi-target, and off balance on my solo sword and board stamplar. It works good with the Exploiter champion skill.
gotta say, gold road, so far, is a muuuch better chapter than the last 2-3 im having a blast trying out the new skills and reviving my blood-warden (the overland set with blood explosions is so fun lol) i have so much more interest in doing stuff right now, than i have in a long long time.
Scribing is looking like a game changer for support roles. Primarily play as a tank, sometimes healer, almost never a DD. Scribing has me excited 😊 cant wait for tomorrow ! Who knows maybe the gap fillers will allow me to comfortably tank on my warden again 🤔
wish focus/sig were account wide like the class one 5k for alt at vendor, class was fastest to get for me. too much grind of mage guild dailys etc for alts
I love pay to win mechanics in my games, who needs skill when you can buy power? From Antiquities to Classes, and now scribing what new power feature will ESO release by a paywall next? Stay rich to learn more!
@@skinnycheeks so i completed the entire quest line on my main. On my alt i had the buffs for completing the indrik, dragon, etc. viewable in my collections. However, when doing daily undaunted, mages, and fighters guild quests on my alt…. While my collections say I have the buffs, I did not have the buffs and did not get the guaranteed drop. So from this, it appears (on console) you DO have to go through the entire quest line on alt characters if you want the buffs… even if viewable in your collections as completed. I’m assuming this is NOT how the devs intended it.
Yeah but was it your first time doing it for the day on the account? Only one toon per account per day has a guaranteed drop. 25% after. I had no issue getting drops on my alts. Heck i actually got affix for 4 out of 6 ic quests on my first alt.
What were your thoughts on the destruction staff scribing? I plan to use that one predominately because as it turns out all my current characters use destruction staves (couldnt make me use rele daggers if you gave them to me for free tbh). Any interesting combos?
Damage is too low to justify 2s cast time, normal spammable will do more over 2 casts + LA between, but I find it nice in Infinite Archive and trial trash packs. I had to go with Magic damage + Assassin's Misery + Off Balance because I don't have any other that fits and it works very well especially in IA with Focused Efforts. Assasin's Misery applies Burning, Chill and Concuss each enemy it hits like Elemental Sus. The range is massive, about the same range as Templar's Ritual of Retribution.
@@wailfulcrab so maybe it would be a good supportive skill? Infrequent cast but can help out here and there? A space filler, more than the crux of a build
Hi! i've been using your last Arcanist build guide with a lot of success but I don't know if it's worth change any skill to put new scribing skills. Let's say knife with multitarget and warriors, as you've shown in your last vid. Or any other option if you think is better for arcanist specifically. What do you think? thx
Without asking for spoilers, are the Scriptorium quests affected by other people being in the instance? For example, I hate doing a lot of new quests because half the encounters simply aren't there, because someone else has killed the enemy in the last 5 minutes. So I usually wait to do them, but with scribing, I want to get the rewards ASAP.
@@harrietclifford-varley9927 no, they are all avaiable to be purchased for gold the moment you do the Wing of the Indrik quest. First purchase is 50k each. Alts will have it for 10k. Scripts to be used with grimoires need to be farmed separately.
Id tell you my combos, but, it looks like itll have to wait 2 years as it looks like a heck of a grind, and whilst it looks interesting, for example I like the idea of using my mount to trample people in a pet build, on the whole this looks very underwhelming for the amount of work we have to put in. Feels kinda gimmicky.
@@alargeshrubb7964 I'm not a vet, sir. I'm a noob. One bar is what allows me to enjoy the game at this time. I will for sure get the hang of dual bar in the future, but for now I want to play comfortably and I'm also quite poor ingame.
As another vet, one-bar builds are perfectly fine for new players and those with high latency (200ms+ ping). As you find your play style and content you enjoy, you will build for it and improve upon when the time comes. :)
It doesnt sound like home boy is pushing xs. Let em have fun with the heavy sorc. I would like to add that ive helped out a lot with runs for new raiders. Sorcs helped em get comfortable enough to actually see and learn mechanics and many eventually moved to a traditional 2 bar build and are pushing harder content now.
Ahh so thats why. I wondered why after all these years they decided to rework how damage mitigation stacked/multiplied. It's because they came out with a new set that reduces damage and so now you have to get the new content to get that back.
AHAHAHA! 4 months ago I made a comment on an ESO channel saying, "Scribing sounds like such a cool system. Too bad people are just going to look up what "content creators" have deemed "the best" in the first 24 hours." Lo and behold.

Just quit gaming all together. Literally every game works like that. Kinda tired of all the depression comments from people who crap on every update because they didnt get what they want.
I just want 11 AI robots/NPCs so I can do trials, 6 years into this and still only a handful of trials. This is one of the biggest issues with this game. "Trials" is only for a small percent of elitist with the occasional drag along a newbi. No public queue, no way to run "Trials" unless you have your handydandy DISCORD ready to go. Oh and don't forget you have to have a PARSE completed which is community standards for acceptable DPS (just be a healer they say, you must run certain sets, go farm, just be a tank they say, same thing) Think about this though, if NPC's or AI or whatever could complete trails then it could make trails better in the long run. Currently Finn just throws encounters together and hopes it sticks, if he actually had NPC running and testing trails he could turn up the difficulty more and more AND this would help with balance changes. Blah
I mean.. do you actually play the game? What you state may be applicable to "Veteran Trials" a bit but is absolutely wrong for any normal content. The Group Finder is the "Public Queue" you claim isn't there. For normal trials they take almost anyone and don't require Discord. For Vet Trials of course you have to prove you can hold your own (it's vet content), but even then there are GF runs available that they just need bodies and they expect people to just be able to keep up.. No ai/npc toons will give you the ability to do vet content on your own.
Just stand in Belkarth during prime time and watch zone chat. Or watch the event finder. I've never used Discord and have never done a parse in 5+ years of playing
Find a decent guild. There are many good ones out there that take weaker players and show them how to run the trial. Help you get gear, and help you learn the vet mechanics.
