- Hillbilly Proud headed back to Jackson County Junior Fair in Cottageville, WV from 7-25-13 to 7-27-13 for Speed Pit Mud Racing, Deep Pit Mud Bogging, and Truck and Semi Pulling action. Jackson County has built the biggest agricultural fair in the state, and we believe they have the biggest fair in WV with their motorsports too. From Thursday to Saturday there was a huge crowd on the hill side and plenty of mud trucks, rails, pulling trucks, and semis there to challenge the tracks and pits. We had a great time as usual and appreciate all of their hospitality.

The old yellow dodge with the hemi is awesome years ago my dad offered are 1969 Plymouth road runner to him for trade which we still have
HEMETT! Best. Truck. EVER!!! 👍
That first ford might have made it if he drained the water out of his headlights.
Dozer1642 I think that's there for extra weight on the front axle!
Dozer1642 a Russian truck? That's the wrecker all American baby. But then again your just a internet soldier. All the real soldiers knows what I'm talking about.
Dozer1642 I can do
kurt charley I can do
extra weight up front thats all
I love the 1st part with the HEMTT (heave expandable mobility tactical truck) , I happen to own one too mine is the M984E1.
I have an M977 with a crane on the back, Damn I love that crane!!!
God bless America thanks to all our troops that severed and still sever thank you
+colton neymeyer Severed lol
3:41, locked it up solid!
Where is his ACH!!!
I was in a Depot level maintenance component repair company in the PA Army National Guard. Our mission was to support the Depot level Combined Support Maintenance Shop East (CSMS EAST) and the National Maintenance Program (NMP) where we worked on just about anything and everything except track. Engines, Transmissions, Brakes, Drive lines Trucks, Tractors and Heavy Equipment. We would completely rebuild and refurbish equipment from CONUS and Overseas and send it back to the Army Supply System. That way the troops on the ground had the equipment they needed to complete their mission. Track shop was up the street at the Unit Training Equipment Site (UTES).
My squad rebuilt an 8V92 DEC III Detroit Diesel Supercharged and turbocharged diesel engine at Annual Training.
When you say you support the maintenance shop, what you really mean is you handed the mechanics the tools when they needed them....
No. Most of our guys from my National Guard Unit from back when I was still in the Guard worked full time at the shop during the week and when drill weekend came around we had specific jobs to get done up at the shop. Example of that would be one of our full-time guys in our unit having to pull a 3126 CAT out of an LMTV to change out the rear main seal. We would do everything we needed to do to get the engine out of the truck.
Nice one!

Anyone know what class that ford is pulling in at 1:20 ?
the sled wasn't touching the ground when the hemmt was pulling it. but with all of the diff locked I'm sure it could have pulled it either way.
rochab77 oh yes it was
The ones I drove from 86-98 didn’t have diff locks, just power dividers.
1:43 doghouse started lifting from the cab... broke something... let off and gave her another go... yup still broke🤣👍
allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright allright ............
Do you go to Highland VA Co Fair Truck Pull ??
what a wagon! I'd love a go a to driving it
ALLLLL right....
1:20 You can see that green ford is a bit low on headlight fluid(passenger side)
5:19 looks like he lost that front right axel. 3wd!
Redwood Butcher it's called open diffs
lol you can hear someone taking a piss after the national guard truck
Did that green Ford lose a driveshaft and tear up everything under the hood?
Is it in the army
Oshkosh 8x8 setting the distance to beat. Feel bad for who is pulling next.
impresionante vid
*All the FORDS look so bulletproof when they're pulling, almost like they're un-phased.*
When the other are pulling, they look so janky. The suspension is jackhammering up and down, the wheels are all wobbly, even the body panels wobble.
No offense to any brand, I've owned at least one of each in the past, and they all have their qualities. Who knows, it could just be the owners doing stupid shit to their vehicles.
You must be referring to that ford with all the white smoke pouring out of it after it completed about half the run? There isnt a pickup out there doesn't feel what they doing!
your wrong biggdaddy2001 that M984A4 does have a Caterpillar diesel. I am assigned to a M985A4 which is part of the HEMMET series and all of the A4 models have the same engine.
Robert Churches thnx I’ve been trying to find out what kind of engine an Oshkosh has are all engines/ models the same
The 5 tons and 7 1/2 tons have a caterpillar c7, and all new hemtt's, like the one in the video, have a caterpillar c15. The old hemtt's have a detroit.
you could have just replied ynow
@@poopcriminal315 The Oshkosh M977A4-M985A4 use a 600 HP C-15 ACERT.And then the early M977-M985 and M977A2-M985A2 all had a 500 HP 8V-92 TA.
They don't even sell Caterpillar HEMTT's.
I saw a Ford break and a Dodge break, but did not see a Chevy break. Odd? I think not!
+Maine Man Very odd, ive never seen a chevy break on youtube
It doesn’t matter pulling trucks are usually running Chevy engines anyway
I love chevy trucks, but there were no newer Chevy trucks in this video, they were all older ones with solid axels. My point is, the new chevy trucks with independent suspension break more often then the other two name brands.
Daniel Rich weren't any newer ford or dodge in this either. Cuz they expect to break their shit so they get stuff they can afford to fuck up and replace time after time
Gaming Made Simple the newer fords and dodges still have solid front axels though, thats the difference. When it comes to truck pulling IFS is garbage. Like i said, im a chevy fan more so than the other two namebrands, but IFS is the worst thing they did to the chevy trucks unless your building a trail rig to clear ruts, which makes no sense cause its a full size
Pls some try using mercedezBenz 6x6.
allright!!!!!
They don't have CAT engines in the HEMTT 8X8 wrecker or the PLS 10X10 Military trucks.
Detroit Diesel 8V92 DDEC III supercharged and turbocharged diesel engine is what is under the hood or cab of the HEMTT 8X8 and PLS 10X10 Military trucks.
The new A4 HEMTT's have a compound turbo'd intercooled C15 ACERT, but yes other than the A3 electrical prototype they had the 8v92ta. Its a pretty new thing.

600hp c15 cat that pulls alot better then an old 2 stroke
Donald Trump It depends on who does the setup, and who does the tune up .
@@moparjr89 The 15 Ton Trucks with the C15 6NZ actually are 575 HP & 2,700 lbs of Torque.
That "ole highboy" though....
I have one of them to a 73 Dodge half ton 4x4 short bed
They need to pull the mufflers off them trucks. Who runs a truck pull with muffled engines?
whoops...the truck at 2:57 :)
Oops the truck at 3:45
why da Ford gotta come and ruint everythang
Where is your ACH 1SGT?
Yggdrasil , utd
What is 1SGT? *1SG
god most the old Chevy's have bananaed frames. 🍌
Idiot.
Sasquads yeah they are a bit light mine weigh in at 5800 with 4bt under the hood and 6bt in the bed with 30 gallons of fuel
Bent but running...
Well chevy is a shit truck
An E4 would have pulled it to the mud pit.
How much does the sled mass?
Mike Sloley From what I've read, the sled is around 28,000lbs and when it digs in it can approach 250,000lbs of resistance. I'm not sure how reliable this source is though.
Alright, alright, alright ........
Professional announcer, begins every comment with “Aw right...”
widescreen baby.. widescreen
the white one broke a drive shaft
dodge51000 2:05
just a traction bar. the diff stayed intact.
I love the hemtt 8x8 caterpillar military truck
Logan Ellinger
the HEMTT is powered by a Detroit Diesel 8v92.. not a cat.. announcer got that wrong.
I stand corrected..I guess the older ones were powered by Caterpillar.. all the ones I ever dealt with in the Army were 8v92s...
oh sorry lol
@@052500hd You literally are opposite on all of that Information. The HEMTT before 2009 all have the 8V-92T.Detroit Diesel was Purchased by Mercedes Benz in 2009.That was when they started having Oshkosh Trucks come with Caterpillar. The HEMTT,PLS,MK,MKR,and LVSR all have the C15 6NZ,and the HET has the C18.They no longer use the 92 Series.
This M977 has a Detroit in it.You're thinking about the HEMTT's in the Army now, those use Caterpillar, not the older Units.
Big deal a HEMMET pulling it! Try an M88 tank recovery vehicle!
The hemmtt is there to set the bar for the other trucks. Making it fair. The M88 would have just took the sled and went straight back to the motor pool leaving no chance for these trucks.
Hey Steve I know how you can stop it. Put the same gear in the transfer weight you had in the pickup's that were one tenth the weight.
Strange pull...😕
If only there was some kind of measuring system that didn't need two different units every time.
Hey are you today
No, I'm tomorrow. Sorry.
+BigEsGarage the future here, just chiming in.
Are that trucks ? Id call them Pick-ups instead because a truck is a Peterbilt/Kenwort/Freightliner/Western Star/Marmon/Mack etc etc etc
Altho that Soviet beast now that's the real deal!
soviet beast wtf you talking about
There was no "Soviet" anything
Nothing Soviet in this video
This fucking guy.
That big 8×8 is an American 15 Ton 8×8 HEMTT,look them up.
And a Truck is a Apparatus of any Vehicle that can be used on Terrain and to carry Cargo through Wheels with either a Bed,Boom,Fifth Wheel,Tank,Hitch, etc.
its funny how they are all fords
***** the first couple ._.
Gage Coffelt awadfrjypxixfghzyhtztytavb. If I guilt to be r
Gage Coffelt It's not very funny at all, Fords always have the best Torque, HP, and Drive-train strength *EVERY YEAR*. It's simply on paper.
(I will give it to Chevy though, even though their transmissions & differentials kinda suck sometimes, they do make decent engines for cheap. *You may have to PAY MORE for a Ford Crate Engine, but they are undoubtedly higher quality.*)
cybertree ford just builds their motors more premium with more high tech parts Chevy is just cheap Chevy uses the lowest quality parts money can buy they last 2 hours under minor abuse fords will last years under major abuse I would rather pay mord for a high quality ford Motor than a low quality piece of crap I'm a ford man for a reason
You must be joking. Chevy has always made the best engines. The 350 isn't just popular for no reason. You must live in a bubble.
Alright 278466578187885564
Green ford did what they do best win u run the piss out of em LOCK UP and quit LOL
Mike Goss That's not even a myth LMAO, your just making shit up that feels good to believe. *Ford has always made their engines more bulletproof (ON PAPER TOO), higher quality steel/aluminum, thicker walls and parts. CHEVY'S MAY BE CHEAPER PER HP, however they aren't higher quality, AKA FORDS LAST LONGER, the statistics tell all.*
ford tough ha ha ha ha ha more like ford junk
that's what those guard people get payed to do must be nice
since when is it OK to use government vehicles and be on duty in a military uniform trying to look cool
Its call recruiting
Oh im sorry I thought this was AMERICA!!
Lee Roy its a recruiting/advertisement scheme... 90% of military are the smaller town down and dirty people of america while only 10% are the city slicker mentality people so a truck pull or mud run is like a stocked corral of potential soldiers
Steve Bertram in America, with American trucks......
Lee Roy since when are you in charge of enforcing military regs you newb?
0:26 - I thought they didn't allow gays in the military?
