This is the biggest thing in scale model ship builds! The best ships by far are made with plank on frame are at Etsy dot com. Search on Etsy: "HorizonBlue" these are great great all wood ships. These are made with not balsa and bass wood, but with exotic hardwoods! Seller has many models not listed. You just have to ask.
