Even though she is clearly extremely nervous Marine is just a good host for this kind of thing, people seem very comfortable just talking with her and she has a really good sense of humor and timing.
I like the thought that Marine was embarrassed and a little shy for having professional VAs for a personal project and said VAs were more like "hardcore fans meeting their idols" to Marine.
Hololive being this big now, it's more and more bound to happens, while for Holomem themself, it takes some time to realize they aren't just some streamers in their rooms, but actual big stars.
Not that I had any reason to doubt them but hearing the two (legend) VAs talk about how they fell into Marine's Rabbit Hole really brings it home that they're actually huge fans. I imagine suffering from vocal cord nodules would be absolutely devastating to someone whose entire career is their voice. Though treatment was available and they made a recovery, the healing time must have been agonizing. I'm glad Fukuen-san found some catharsis and comfort with Marine-senchou who suffered the same thing. I'm also glad the two VAs were not shy in sharing their compliments with Senchou. We have to realize that fans will often let their oshis get away with murder. Even if what the fans are saying are true, their compliments can start to lose weight, especially in the background of the internet. Fan support is still very important but it can be hard to shake the thought "Are they just saying that or am I actually doing good?" Having a couple of respected industry veterans say to Senchou in real life: "You're cute. You're funny. You're amazing! I'm a huge fan. Please say my name!" That warms my heart.
Senchou is really a wonderful person, I really love her free talk session, sadly I couldn't fully understand everything in her stream as I'm still learning Japanese In those many occasion clippers really helps, so thank you translator-san for bringing these beautiful moments to us
"I was a VA for twenty years. This was all for this day." Top kek, love those two fangirling over Senchou and Senchou getting all sweaty from the praises. XD XD XD
It's hard to comprehend, that woman fangirling about Marine, is gonna be in the finale of an Anime the whole world is waiting to watch (Attack on Titan), playing the one and Only Armin Arlert
I can't beliieve Fukuen Misato she's 41 years old and Marina Inoue she's 38 years old ! 😳 I mean they both looks nothing like their real age at all ! still looks pretty young and elegant like 2 angels
Your comment just made me realize that the day I fell in love with Fukuen's voice as Eve (Black Cat) was already nearly 2 decades ago. She was in her early-20s during that time.
So if we become successful voice actors we might have a chance to meet senchou too, huh. Overall the whole second world saga was super fun to follow. Thank you for clipping so much of it.
Marine talking about potentially releasing “The Second World” once she hits 3 million takes a load off of me. I figured her fans would want to play it, so I was working on a remake and have been tinkering with various RPG Maker versions. I was worried about how people would receive that, so I’m relieved that I don’t have to continue lol. For the record, I was copying the map layouts and dialogue by watching Koyori’s streams but would’ve had to “fill in the blanks” for the parts that she didn’t play. Meaning the game wouldn’t have really been Marine’s original creation, thus missing the point entirely. Can’t wait for 3 million! 🏴☠️
Thank you for translating this segment. I only saw like short clips chopped in multiple vids. This interview is so fascinating to me. I really like vtubers and seiyuus, this is really interesting for me.
some manga or LN got stop and forgotten because the author died, or they already busy with a new job or already have family who more important. meanwhile marine , didn't finish 100% her game and didn't even have the next step in her mind and abandon it but still get pro seiyuu voice her chara XD marine build different 😂
After seeing how much Senchou cringed at it, it's good to see that she's coming to grips with how it is coming along with pros providing voices for it. I love the whole attitude of the women discussing it like they're close friends. That's the way the world ought to be.
i am watching this now and the current subs of senchou are at 2.45m.. and i think that the release of the game "second world" is near.. keep spreading the love for our boomer senchou guys!! lets reach the subs to 3m!!!!
People in the west don't seem to understand just how popular and famous Voice Actors are in Japan, they tend to be more prolific and with more fans than regular actors. By Japanese fandom rules, in the USA Tara Strong would be more famous and respected than, say, Sandra Bullock. And Mark Hamill would be more recognized by his role as The Joker, than of his role as Luke Skywalker.
Like I said on the clip fubuki got for her birthday present from nakamura yuuichi. Its just a matter of time really for Vtubers to have a voice acting work with the pros or with the voice acting industry in general. Let's be honest shall we, what this vtubers are doing is basically voice acting already. They are given a character to voice, dont you think that is basically what voice actors and actress are doing. VA in general only voices a character per project, Vtubers on the other hand are basically the same. Just what marine said, they auditioned for the role or rather character on their case. VA also does the same thing. Its just that Vtuber character last longer compared to per project voice acting, example of this is Vtuber graduation, coco's Vtuber career lasted almost 2yrs. Rushia on the other hand, her career lasted for almost 3ys. Compare that to voice acting project, the longest would be for both one piece and detective conan. Compare the voice acting project that lasts 1 or 2 seasons of anime. Like I said, its just a matter of time, if cover corp or other Vtuber talent agency will venture out to voice acting projects. iirc, kadokawa also launched a vtubing channel, I dont remember if its kodansha or kadokawa. What I remember is, Ayane Sakura lend her voice for a vtuber. Its just a matter of time really.
Even though she is clearly extremely nervous Marine is just a good host for this kind of thing, people seem very comfortable just talking with her and she has a really good sense of humor and timing.
FR FR. Personally, I think she should have a talk show like Kiara does HoloTalk.
marine & mikochi are the perfect host pair if its planned well

It's the mystery with Asian women. They somehow remain young until they hit 60 then age all at once.
Its that magical Asian blood.
I cant believe this is happeningggg, two of my favorite topic, seiyuu and vtubers in the same video
So if we become successful voice actors we might have a chance to meet senchou too, huh.
Overall the whole second world saga was super fun to follow. Thank you for clipping so much of it.
Came back here after Senchou reached 3mil subs... I'm expecting the game release of 2024! ! !

For senchou this is like meeting her heroes.
