Hi Andy .. I’ve just subscribed to Graham Jenkinson .. it’s really lovely seeing UA-cam creators sharing and supporting others and I personally love watching food reviews.. your my favourite without a doubt and Im grateful for your reply’s every time.. you are a legend mate 👍👍
I watched another review on this mate looked absolutely incredible. Thought it was from Tesco been looking in there today 😂😂. Needs the best of both mate chips and rice 👍🏻
Hello Andy. That looks lovely. I love a Hot 🔥 Curry. My favourite, has to be Vindaloo or a Phall. Iceland, do a good selection of luxury Curries 🍛 with a similar price tag. Good video 📹
Good Morning Andy, another excellent review of this Bom Bahai Madras I am glad you enjoyed it the others in the range are equally as good ! Thank you very much for the shout out it is much appreciated ! Have a great Sunday Mate :-)
Thanks for recommending it, yes it was nice, it was good to see a supermarket curry with nice chunks of meat 👍 Have a great day and thanks once again 👍
I wouldn't pay £5 but Asda have a meal deal with these currys at the moment, 2 mains and 2 sides for £10. The Lamb Karahi is nice as well. Good stuff. :)
Hi Andy,I wish we had that here, our supermarkets don’t have curries, and it’s much more expensive at the Indian restaurants, and by my house they are all Bangladeshi, and are catering to the bachelors,so real Bangali, food, not BIR style,or US Indian style food.Very dry meats, and fish, very spicy, don’t get me wrong I like their food, but sometimes that sort of saucy curry would be nice, but to get that I need to take a train to the City.Anyway nice review.😊
If I remember correctly I gave it a 10/10 from home bargains, they were both very nice, I liked the big chunks of meat in this one plus it had a slight coconut taste, problem is I can’t get it anymore in home bargains or at least I haven’t seen it since it’s had to split it to be honest they were both unique home bargains definitely wins on price 👍
Yeah, I love this, especially with the Gunpowder potatoes as the side dish, but - alas to say - the last one I had, had a massive piece of gristle as one of the pieces of beef, and it put me right off. I've probably had 7 of them, and - until the last one - they were absolutely lush, but that one gag inducing massive piece of gristle, has really put me off. 👍 I'll still get the Keralan chicken, and sides, but the beef madras has been spoiled for me.
Morning andy. Don't look a bad curry for the money but as you say you can add some rice and a naan bread and you've got a decent meal. Still works out cheaper than having it in a restaurant. Can i ask you a question is the old foodie guys wife natalie your daughter as i've heard a few people saying that she is. Cheers andy keep the videos coming.
@@fatandy I haven't seen any comments on your channel about it. It's people that i know who watch your channel and they were saying that natalie was your daughter and i said i don't think she is. Well you've cleared it up for me and the answer is she's not. Thank you for replying back to me.
Tried the Madras and a few others from the range, following reviews by other channels. Got to say they're restaurant quality at supermarket prices, imo. Love the Madras as brisket's my favourite cut of beef. Cheers mate👍.
Looks very nice but as you said not enough for two peopleyou would obviously add rice etc cheaper than. a take out one we had a take out the other night inowown the roofofthe shop 😂😂
Andy you could make this yourself. Theres lots of vids on youtube how to do. I think youd make a good curry, you are interested in cooking i notice. I suppose its more convenient to buy them , I do anyway
Looks like a lovely beef madarse! But id like to say that the wording of those ingredients is very sneaky.. you see where they say 98% beef brisket all that means is that of the 22% of cooked pulled beef 98% of it is brisket. so theres still only 22% of beef in that meal reagardless.
I found this average - a few UA-camrs have sang its praises too. But just ok to me - too much coconut or something for a madras and quite dry. I’d avoid.

Thanks
Closing in on a MILLION VIEWS big guy! Great review as always ❤
Thanks can’t believe it 👍
That looked alright, good bits of meat in it. Worth the money spent on it. Going to nip into Asda in the morning.
Hope you enjoy 👍🏻
Cheers Andy
Thanks

Thanks yeah they are every where here in the uk, I did go to a proper Bangladesh restaurant once in London and I wasn’t so keen 👍
Andy, how does this madras compare to the one from Home Bargains that cost £1.75 you reviewed a while ago?
If I remember correctly I gave it a 10/10 from home bargains, they were both very nice, I liked the big chunks of meat in this one plus it had a slight coconut taste, problem is I can’t get it anymore in home bargains or at least I haven’t seen it since it’s had to split it to be honest they were both unique home bargains definitely wins on price 👍
@@fatandy Thanks for that Pal - they both looked nice to be fair.👍

Sorry to hear that, as you say they are very good but you only need one thing like that to put you off 👍🏻

No worries 👍🏻
Looks great, but the Aldi gastro currys are about £3.70?
I have seen them, but I will say I have never seen such big lumps of meat in a supermarket curry 👍
I had this a few times, its only a single serving in my experiance, and needs a few sides like a naan and maybe the lamb samosa from the same range.
Yes I agree definitely for one, I was really impressed, I reckon some nice basmati rice and a good naan bread 👍🏻
It did look really nice but why so many leaves in there? Bit much like lol.
Don’t know they were curry leaves 👍🏻
Serves 2 ? 😂 Funny how what was once for 1 is now for 2 , seeing it more & more

Thanks yes it was very good 👍🏻
I tried about 2months ago after another persons review , yep its good for a £5 + lam not a big eater !
🎉🎉Hi All🎉🎉
Hi 👋
They are great, and Asda have a meal deal on them atm 2 mains & 2 sides for £10 an absolute bargain mate 👍
Thanks for that, as the wife liked it as well, well impressed with the beef 👍
Even if you bought two it's still OK for £10 Andy?
Definitely that was a very nice curry
Never enough for two
Definitely agree with that 👍

was 4.50 when it first came out
Gone up 50p 👍🏻
Was £4.50 recently then asda put it up to a fiver.
Yeah someone else said that

Serves two....officer...😂
I'm sold
😂😂
It’s bloody good

👍🏻
£5 too much I just pay £3 at the most and it will never serve 2 people
Definitely for one 👍
That looks nice but it would look nicer with rice and chips!.... or am I just a greedy b.....!
No would be great
Could you do a better curry than this andy?
I don’t know about that this was a good one
Serves 2? Yeh, right....£5....big NO from me. Andy.
It’s good 👍🏻
@@fatandy For what you get, it's still too pricey, mate.
Fiver ,,,,, i aint trying Naff!!
It’s good 👍🏻
How much do you wanna pay then? This isn’t 1975 anymore.
Andy this is one of the worst curry’s Iv ever had chunks of frozen brisket in tomato sauce
We are all different

😂
