Hi Andy,good thing they are pulling down that apartment block,it’s an eyesore behind those houses.We of course have many apartment blocks,but they tend to be all close to each other,and you don’t sort of get a nice row of houses,and a monstrosity behind.I was surprised that so many people want their back bacon cooked more,I would have thought with the lack of fat in that cut,it would become a bit like cardboard..My Mom tended not to cook it much,even the streaky bacon she cooked was not rendered,and when I complained she said it just would not get crispy,of course that wasn’t true,but I guess it was how she liked her bacon.She cooked beef,and lamb rare,and pork,chicken,and turkey were always juicy,so I guess she never overcooked anything except vegetables.😂😂
Hi Janet, yeah that tower block several years ago was a fantastic place they had a caretaker who lived there and was on call 24 hours a day and really looked after the place, but the last 10 years it’s gone downhill and as you say it’s now become an eyesore so next year they are demolishing it and replacing it with houses, as for the bacon yeah I’m not a fan of undercooked I do prefer a bit of colour, I do like beef showing a nice bit of red 👍 Have a great day 👍

Great video as always, I went on their website and downloaded their eat in menu and can't help but notice cheaper prices on there. Your breakfast on the website for example is £9.99 and most items on there are listed cheaper than the menu you read from. now I don't mind prices going up especially with cost of living and businesses needing to survive but they should update their prices on their own website.

I agree with the bacon needs more time cooking but I was disappointed not to see a couple of slices of black pudding and no slices of fried bread.. definitely for that price.. but overall it’s not bad .. sausages are my favourite on full English as long as they are decent quality not the typical cheap ones people often use .. Is this the same Jesters that use to have a cafe on Harfreys Industrial Estate in Gt. Yarmouth. They use to have a "Baby Breakfast", so called because the breakfast was the weight of a baby !!! Great video Andy. Is the defibrolator on the wall outside in case you over did the Big Boy breakfast !!

Yeah, years ago it was a really nice place to live well kept, had a caretaker who lived there and looked after the place but unfortunately those days have gone, yeah breakfast was good 👍

been jesters fair few times both eating in and take away there well over priced and they also cook there burgers so pink it was nearly raw so was last time i went back seems bit hit n miss they do alot of american style stuff lets just say there's better in lowey for the money personal opinion
