    I'm in California. I had a chance to train at a TKD school of mostly Korean guys for a year, it was so fun. There is something special about connecting with different cultures through martial arts. Anyways, good video.

    Look! We all get it! "I train harder!" "My three year old trains harder than this!" We get it! Put you dicks away! Also why does it matter if they count in Korean? Does memoriesing a few words make or break you winning the gold! Come the fuck on!! Worry about you self!

    Well normal kids are doing some training for fitness. They have no intention to win big tournaments or become the best. All things lack on speed and power or even will-power to do so.
    Still its fine and if they love taekwondo, they should do how they like.

    The korean training I experienced was like 3hours every day, but hey! :D

    good job, keep on training! one major thing to fix: don't keep on hopping, its outdated, not energy effecient and can be at attacked multiple points.

    • @ryankim46
      @ryankim46 5 років тому

      JamieLan2011 I was mainly pointing out that Peter said that hopping is outdated. Obviously hopping isn’t necessary while defending, you have to lean back. Hopping constantly isn’t good but Peter said that hopping in general was outdated. Please read the context of the message before saying something

    • @ryankim46
      @ryankim46 5 років тому

      JamieLan2011 You can watch the video. No one is constantly hopping. Everyone stops to defend and move around

    For the record, I never said it was "elite" training. The video only captures a small slice of the workout. It was not meant to be boastful. That's not what the spirit of martial arts is about. Peace be with all of you!

  • @lstarrtna4288
    @lstarrtna4288 5 років тому

    Very nice workouts looks like fitness endurance work early stages, in ten weeks be much improved. The heavy breathing gives that away in time with regular practice they will be sharper more powerful and focused for longer periods. Takes time doesn't happen overnight.

    When I did martial arts we was full contact without any padding

    • @darkshaman7087
      @darkshaman7087 5 років тому

      Spartan soldier I don’t understand why they use padding, as you understand we can’t move the same and if you get really hit you not getting the feel of the pain to experience it which will make you defend yourself much better and that is what will make a person a better martial artist etc

    • @darkshaman7087
      @darkshaman7087 5 років тому

      Spartan soldier yes by getting hurt or injured then people will only learn how to protect themselves... I did Kung fu lau gar style years ago and I went through some pain, there was one bloke there that had arms of steel and when we was sparring just using arms he used to torture me lol my forearms was bruised and smashed to bits but I took it and it toughened me up it’s the only way, I did find out later this bloke I was sparring with was also a professional martial artist of some other type of martial arts and used his forearms to break other people’s arms when trouble broke out in nightclubs as he was also a doorman lol he was only 5”4 tall but not to mess with... Yes you are right shitty equipment is no good as they will never learn, I did a few different martial arts/boxing etc over the years but never used padding only boxing gloves lol I’m to old these days haha... What type of martial arts do you do or have done?

    before they bother learning how to hit a moving target perhaps they should learn to actually throw a kick with proper speed and force first....don't avoid the kicks,make one stand there and take the body shots fully and the other throw full force body shot kicks....that way one will learn to better take a kick while the other practices throwing one properly on a decent firm target with some actual give similar to a punching bag but slightly firmer,thus learning not only how to hit with some actual force but conditioning ones shins at the same time....whats the point of that body armor when these pansies are just tapping each other lightly with those mediocre leg throws you call kicks
