The Kraton 6s never fails to deliver when the urge to go BIG strikes. I'd argue it's one of the best RCs period for harder bashing. The Hobbystar 1730Kv 4092 motor and Hex 6 (3-8s rated) ESC are proving a good pair for incredible power and torque. Big thanks to Fast Track Hobbies in Rocklin, CA for your continued support and Voltage Hobbies for the incredible upgrades that work.

Just picked up a Kraton V3 and had it out last night at the BMX track and WOW! What a machine! Lives up to every bit of hype and I’m a novice so my driving isn’t the best yet, and it took some HUGE crashes with nothing breaking! Amazing beast of a truck!
Your drivings improvement over the last year is very noticeable. The value of the kraton is second to none. If I lived up north near you, you wouldn’t be bashing alone brother. 🍻

just ordered my dream rc yesterday, the kraton v3, the day the v1 came out to hobby shops i went to see it in person, now the inpatient wait starts for it to come in!
Rc Addicted that's AWESOME Brother 😱!!! Yeah I actually just fell into another Kraton through my LHS. It was a return that was sent in due to lack of power. Turns out the ESC was misprogrammed😲. They offered me a deal as the original customer got an in store replacement and this one was scratched 😱. You're going to LOVE it my friend 😂!!! I'm just blown away by the torque and instant blast power of this combo👊. 20T is about perfect with the 1730 long can. Think the heat was from front wheel spin and high RPMs🤔. The way you rigged the Kraton seems indestructible with all the voltage hobby mods. How would you compare the mt410 to the kraton? The Losi truggy is a beast for sure but i dont think its was made for such big air like you do and there arent many after market hopups for the kit but it would be fun to see you make a video with it!! I’ve had my Kraton about a month now.! Changed the pinion and spur and put an upgraded steering servo (water proof) and arm on.! Don’t forget the rubber washer lol.

I been wishing for the nice weather to dry out the bash spot's but now it's dry and i can get good run ups on the jump's everything's getting toasty and i gotta gear down.........end result is im probably not hitting the jump's as fast as i was in the winter and loosing mid air control with the gearing 😂😁 it's all good though as long as we're enjoying ourselves and getting some vitamin D 😎 loved it you certainly send it 😱😲😰👊👍😂

I've geared down all my other rigs already except Angie's 😍 Talion. I'm thinking heavier center diff fluid may be in order to limit front wheelspin some more with this system 🤔. Also wondering if my new Team Durango rear outdrive cups are rubbing the diff case. They're shaped longer and extend into the case a tad. Gonna get it sorted, but will gear down if needed. What an epic jump park! Where about is this? So much good fun with the Kraton!
This was in Elk Grove, CA. Unfortunately the park has completely changed and isn't RC friendly. They put in rhythm sections all throughout so there's no run ups to hit jumps at different angles or get any pace. It was good fun while it lasted. 🍻

Still running my 1730 Hobbystar in my Kraton. You’re right, it’s a tank. Got the voltage towers and chassis braces. Haven’t bent a chassis yet so haven’t needed a Tower to Tower. I’ve got the Hobbystar paired with the blx185 and it works great! Only issue I’ve had was my own fault. Stripped all my diff pinions and only had the bigger Typhon ones. The temp were crazy high. Just order the correct size. I think it’s 11t. I’m running a 14t in my diffs right now. Anyway, great bash bro!✌️

I agree with you,the kraton is a beast! I like sooo much I have two... I’m considering geting a tekno mt410 or an Outcast but for the price of the mt410+electronics+body+wheels and tires I can have the outcast plus 2 complete differentials plus a couple batteries...
Daniel Navarro thanks brother 👊. Unless Tekno releases a vastly updated MT410 I say get an Outcast. The Tekno is too expensive for what you get IMHO. It takes extensive upgrading on top of build costs to help it withstand harder bashing. The Outcast was designed for bashing (not a race borrowed platform) with much better aftermarket upgrade support. One issue right now though is Arrma parts inventory 🤔. Lots of backordered parts. I'm hoping that will change soon. Don't get me wrong about the MT410. It's a great FUN basher. I just don't consider it the cream of the crop, "ultra-durable" basher that many like to believe it is. I've broken/replaced the parts myself and make my judgment on personal experience, not popular opinion. 🙋🙋😵😵😵😎💪👊👊

Rc Fun thanks SO very much my brother 😂!!! The Kraton feels right at home at this BIG jump park 👊. This high torque combo allows her to blast off the jumps with a blip of hard throttle 😨. Still sorting the temp spike, but gonna try heavier center diff 500k next time cuz the front wheelspin is very noticeable with this setup. Think my new Team Durango rear diff outdrive cups may be rubbing the case, too🤔. They're shaped a bit different. May need to gear down if all else fails. 🍻🤘🤘😨😨😨😎💪👊👊

I'm still sorting my temp spike, but think my center diff fluid may be too light at 200k with this power. I had incredible front wheel spin and also had just switched to round Team Durango rear outdrive cups. Think they're rubbing the diff case on closer inspection 🤔. Tonys Rc Tech Thanks so much brother 😂!!! yes I most certainly would. It has a simpler design with a better mix of metals and plastics. I'm not knocking those other two. The Xmaxx is one of the most durable Traxxas rigs I've ever seen, especially for it's size and weight. The E Revo 2.0 is too little too late from what I'm hearing on the forums. Not having owned or tested either of them mind you, just sharing what I'm seeing and hearing. Any of these rigs will break given enough abuse, impacts, and flail landings 😵. The Kraton is a very solid design overall and has great aftermarket upgrade support. It has room for larger, ridiculous power systems like mine 😍 and is easy to work on. Props to Arrma for building such awesome rigs and offering them at very reasonable prices. 🍻🤘🤘😨😨😨😎💪👊👊
Thaks Rich for your comment, ive been watching these two makes for a while, the kraton edges it for me because of it speeds it's looks and durability , am only new at this hobby and still learning the game so its good to build up to something like the Kraton, ive only got starter RC's at the moment to learn how to upgrade RC's first before i jump into the big pond 😊 check some of my vids and tell me what you think , i can only learn of you guys. This is why I watch his videos. Grest bash and once in awhile you hear him say "ohhhhhh" and somethings wrong with the truck. Usualy that means real world tips as it happens and could save you from doing that mistake.

Thanks so much Raymond 🤗. I use mostly old Tactic TTx300 stuff that came with previous models. Simple with good control and great range. For servos, I run mostly budget Power HD 23kg. Also upgrade the Ackerman steering plate to M2C Racing or 7075 equivalent. The stock ones bend easily and throw off the camber. Other nice upgrade is swapping the brass steering bushings for sealed bearings. 🍻😎💪👊👊

I have the same question. I see the towers on voltage hobbies, but I don't see the center brace...
I'm doing some research to see which pinion I should run with this motor/ESC setup, I'd like to avoid adding fans if I can, much like you. Which pinion did you have in this vid? For temps sake I may start at 18T and go up from there if temps permit! Awesome bashing as always brother!

Just got a V3, was the last one my lhs had and he reckons he won’t be getting any more for a while due to supply restrictions. Now all I have to do is keep my son from pinching it, he absolutely loves the thing.

Pete G thanks brother 😂!!! It was awesome having the park for wide open use to try some new lines 😰. I generally don't run motor fans. Instead I just gear accordingly and keep my driveline smooth as possible. Usually gear to around 150F motor, 120-130 ish ESC. This is about maximum efficiency. Any hotter and performance suffers. Some would argue that cooling one side of a motor could actually weaken the windings over time. Not sure if that's true, but I just prefer to allow good airflow and gearing to dictate my temp readings. 🍻🤘🤘😨😨😨😎💪👊👊

Hey Rich! Arrm@getem here. Are you still running your V2? I been going threw life and my truck has been sitting since 2018. I thought I would call up SMC for some new packs and order a radio as mine is broken and start bashing again but I gotta say I was overwhelmed when I got on the forum and then the website. Had me thinking even with techno shocks and the VH upgrades my old V2 seems like a Dinosaur. I can't believe how much the Arrma stuff exploded. But seeing the Grand Master (You) is possible still kicking ass with yours calms me a lot. Lol.
Hey Brother 🤗. Glad to see you back!!!! My V2 finally got shelved after borrowing parts for my V3. Still have the skeleton, but ended up later getting a V4 and 6s EXB to test out also. No need for Tekno shocks after the uodated V3 4mm shafts and rated springs 😍. Biggest change has been the M2C Racing Goliath Series 4mm 7075 T6 chassis 😱. You simply don't need a tower to tower brace with them. Still run Voltage Hobbies, GKA, and some Hot Racing stuff....but have been working closely with Mitch at M2C to help test and refine beefcake ARRMA upgrades that work. 🍻😎💪👊👊
