- Finally getting around to fixing up the GSXR 600 that has been in my shop for the last 2 years. It doesn't look bad from far away, but once you get closer all the damage can easily be seen. Watch as I go over everything that is damaged on the bike and begin to repair it!

Bought my first wrecked GSXR600 today from my local insurance auction, its a 08. Got it for 800 bucks and I'm about to attempt a rebuild. I've been riding for years but never worked much on a bike. Thanks for the inspiration brotha!

I live in the Caribbean so a brand new motorcycle is mostly out of the question since its way more expensive. However most of the motorcycles going on sale atm are from the big 4 between 06-08. So you give me hope

Change the rectifier as well, If that stator was still pushing current when it went down I'd say it will be trash. Also relocate it to the side.
My Gsx-R 1000 inside a 600 shell's totally wrecked took me 3 month to receive the parts ...But now I have the craziest track bike sleeper plate and register 600CC 😂😂😂😂

I wonder how the left side of the front tire got bent and the stator when the bike was wheelied and the damage is on the right side as well. Seems like more to the story than previously suggested. Hopefully the rebuild goes good.

Hey, Can I fly out to your place for 5 weeks in my summer holidays (only 16 years old and still in school) and learn as much as possible in this time? I'd help out for free with everything in return for being allowed to sleep somewhere, getting food and learning from my master, which are you. This is actually not a joke. I live for motorbikes, but I have to wait until I'm18, because I live in Switzerland and because of my parents. I have summer vacation from 20th of July until 14th of August. What do think about my idea? It would really be a dream come true for me.

06-09 cbr 1000 caliper bolts fit k4-k5 gsxr 600/750 and they are really cheap on ebay.

You should be able to call your local Suzuki dealer and they should be able to help
Where do you typically get parts from? I am from Europe and OEM parts cost a lot here. Most of the times there is zero profit in these rebuilds..
Where can I get a 05 GSXR 750 gas tank?
Use a 3M Roloc bristle disc for gleaning gasket mating surfaces, and you'll never use a razor again.
