Exactly what I was looking for. I needed answers after looking into best mouses for the office. I came across one like this on Amazon. I don’t game but love the idea of using this for work. So thank you!

Jay, thank you. 😊This is super helpful, and I am a developer as well. Including your macros was really great. I am surprised there aren't more videos like this, but this is exactly why I bought this mouse and what I had hoped to use it for. It is surprisingly easier to program than I expected. I am using the M913 on Windows and love the weight and the option of wireless or wired to avoid lag.

That's how I do it too. Alt+Tab on the mouse button is a essential for me. I like double-click on single button, close window, and others... I always didn't understand why people operate their computers so inefficiently. Thank You for the spread of enlightenment.

I have a Logitech G600, it's funny how I set almost the same shortcuts as you, at the same buttons! ^^
The G600 has a 4th button under the ring finger(G-Switch), when pressed, it doubles the available bindings since you can remap all of the 12 buttons to a new action while the key is pressed, I love this mouse!

Great justification that macros / key bindings reduce RSI! Holy crap - how did I miss that? I know it's just been focused on not wanting to keep doing repetitive things, and selling it as a time savings.

Well....this is the day my brain realised.....while working I have to constantly switch between keyboard two hands and then one hand keyboard and one hand mouse.....so why not use more of the right hand? This mouse is beyond helpful. Now the question is whether these kinds of products is available in my country or not lol (Amazon not available in my country)

I don't game on my laptop but I use it as shortcut button like what you said!
By the way, is the Redragon Mouse software can set Macros like "Shoe Desktop" "Copy Paste" "Open Folder"?

Found this video while looking for a viable alternative to my Naga v2 Hyperspeed, which I consider an essential for work. I don't use the same keybinds as yours, but for what I do, I have long considered MMORPG mice superior to others actually designed with productivity in mind.
Edit: Not a huge believer in Razer products, but the v2 Hyperspeed really couldn't be more perfect for me if I'd designed it myself.

The Monitor raisers. XD And wow this is rather useful. For the volume thing. One of the extensions I use allow me to raise and lower the volume of UA-cam videos with the scroll wheel quickly, which is so useful. Specially since so many tubers have high volume opening or credits but their video is lower. So I can change volume quickly.
I'm considering a mouse with programable buttons on the side. But I'm not so sure. Since every time I'm giving my right hand a break, I use the mouse with the left one. I do this thing were I would rest the entire left fore arm on the desk towards the right ( like crosing my arms on top of the desk) and that's how I'll use the mouse, with the left hand.
But having shortcuts for snapping windows, for ctrl tab and atl tab, showing desktop and volume controls sounds amazing.

Im glad to see someone else had the same idea. All these mice are marketed as MMO mice, but if you use programs with many tools like CAD or photoshop, why can't it be used the same? Seems like a no brainer but I can't find anyone else doing it.

@@JSyntax Little update, I've been using the Corsair Scimitar for CAD work, 3D print slicing, and adobe programs. Gotta say that this has been a great idea so far and I feel like it's dramatically improved my workflow. No longer moving my hand across the keyboard to hit a keybind, I have all 12 buttons bound and then use shift/alt/ctrl to alternate between different levels of commands. It's pretty neat, been loving this setup a lot.

Looking into getting the wireless M913. Is it possible to map switching profiles to the button next to the left click? That way I don’t have to turn the mouse over every time. One of my biggest necessities is to be able to use the number pad normally, then switch to hot keys like you have on the fly.

The reason I purchased the red dragon M908 was to program macros with text for quick copy and paste. Like for text against that use the same greeting or closing with every customer…. So I wanted to program key one to say let’s say “welcome to fast path, how can help today?” Is this possible to program text for easy copy paste?

Excellent video. I have an important question, I use softwares at work (CAD/Revit) where the keyboard shortcuts are (CO) for copy, you press 'C' on the keyboard first and then 'O' to activate the copy command. Can the mouse be programmed to understand this? So it's not 'C+O' but rather 'C,O'. Thanks.

Macros allow you to do key combination regardless of the keys. I use an MMO mouse for Revit. I bought a used Razer Naga with 7 keys, I have the shortcuts I used the most such as, Copy, create similar, rotate, move, etc. Hopefully that helps.

So you have to physically turn over the mouse and switch it's profile to load up the macro setup for a certain application?
Razer Synapse does that automatically via software as it recognizes which application your mouse is located on. I wonder if other mice could do the same.
