This is a very helpful video. It’s the first one I’ve seen that practically walks one through the submission process from start to finish.
Thank you my friend.
Glad I could help!
As a new collector I'm glad I ran across your video I've been searching for a company to use that's reputable that doesn't charge you an arm and a leg thank you for posting this video I just subbed your Channel
Thanks!
I really need help please can you please help me get started
Good walk through of the process. Thanks bud.
This helps me a lot. Sending in an Attribution in a few days.
So helpful! Thank you!
sounds a good deal and not go through all process n pay too much perfect video information Have a wonderful day and may God Bless You . Will be sending coins for grading for first time
Wish they still did deals like that. Good info.
Nicely done.
Good job. YOU are a great submitter. No tape, NO staples, ONE coin per flip, don't cut your flips in half. Check out 'how to submit your coins to a grading service'. Great video ModernMiner.
thanks for the video. As a beginner I need information like this.
Thanks for the video!
Video very informative, thanks
Happy New Year & good to know that it's not a sponsored video (not that it would be bad if it was, but cool that it's totally genuine). I'm not partnered with anyone sponsorship-wise but hope to be in the future, but it would have to be for a company I genuinely want to recommend as well. Don't have anything to send in but still very cool!
Great deal. But question. Placing your coins in the flip folders with no glove. You're not afraid of possible finger prints or hand oils? Thanks for the info.
Thank u Sir for the information.
Thanks for the video. Got a complete set of early silver commemoratives and 1/2 were never graded.
Thank You Very Much, I Have Been Waiting To Get My Coins Graded Because I Didn't Have Membership Monies. I Thought All Of The Grading Companies Required A Membership. New Subbie, 💙 Your Videos.
i just sent off my first batch!
Happy New Year!!! 🔥🐉

You're welcome!

Slice Gaming
I definitely will! Thanks for watching!
I understand that NGC and DSCG coin grading companies are highly regarded by auction houses and collectors , therefore more value on your products. If you plan to sell later. Yes grading cost is more expensive from NGC or PSCG.
Very true. ANACS is really just a more economic option for those who aren't grading anything super valuable.
When ANACS does its coin grading...do they have any sort of (marker): like a "star" per NGC for beautiful coins, that would say, this is a high eye-appeal coin? Anything other than straight grading, such as like NGC, and PL/DMPL? Thank you
I'm going to try anacs have a bunch of Franklin half dollars to send in
Hi , First of all I love how you explain everything, … I have a few coins and like 4 rare dollar the coins are error struck planchet . What company do iI used
Thanks! For coins that likely have more serious value, I'd recommend PCGS or NGC. But first, take every measure you can to be sure the coins are real.
I love ANACS they are the best and always have the best deals that not any other grading company..in order to save money just go to
They website and find out where they show up close to you..and you will save $$ on shipping..plus free return shipping
Will the grading Co accept coins in see through plastic sandwich bags instead of flips.
I don't think so. They are very specific.
If they don't, they should. Mini "ziploks" are softer (easier on the coins), easily labeled, and MUCH easier to get coins out of, without damaging them. Wouldn't recommend them for long term storage, though. But shipping...yes.
Would you look at ANACS as a first step in grading if you thought you had something valuable? If they then determined it to be highly valued then paying up for a PCGS rating?
If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to authenticate a potentially VERY valuable coin, ANACS is the way to go. But I'd only recommend this strategy for a coin that is worth paying all that money for (i.e. two gradings).
Here we go again! Not to be critical of you, Sir, but of the myth that somehow a PCGS slab has more credibility than an ANACS or NGC or ICG slab. And the PCGS patsies will be jumping in to say, "It's true!. It's true!" when in fact, it isn't. The basic collector may assume (by way of indoctrination) that a PCGS slab is better, but real coin experts know better -- the standards don't change from company to company, and their graders are no better or worse than any other's. The whole grading business is highly subjective, and a coin's value may end up depending on whether or not the grader lost an argument with his wife that day, or didn't like his lunch.!
@@TheAvenstar I agree with your statement. A company's credibility is one thing, but the actual money involved is another story. If you're looking for better investment and/or resale value, then which grading company you use does matter. The market is very picky. But yes, as far as quality grading alone goes, it doesn't matter which service.
@@ModernMiner4 You're right that for resale value (today) the grading company matters -- especially when it comes to more recent issues like silver eagles; however, that is only in the short term because it is "trendy" right now to esteem PCGS above all others. HOW that myth got started and perpetuated is anybody's guess. I won't speculate, but like any other myth it will dissipate sooner or later, and I truly believe that in 20 years your MS70 silver eagle will still be MS70 whether it was graded by ICG, ANACS, PCGS or NGC. So, if you want to turn a quick buck maybe it is better to hop on PCGS's mythical bandwagon for the time being. But years from now the extra money you wasted on a PCGS slab will be pointless in my opinion ...and that's all it is -- just my opinion.
@@TheAvenstar Yeah, I agree. I see people crossover coins from company to company and I don't understand why they spend so much money on one coin.
Awesome info.dc19
😱 you used colored ink?? Haha Nice vid
Hello,l want the folmulary .
So, how do I find the papers to download and print off to send in my coins? Where can I get the coin flips?
Rod White
The submission form can be found on the ANACS website. Appropriate flips can be purchased on eBay or Amazon, or places that sell coin supplies. I prefer eBay because you are offered many different (and competitive) prices to compare.
@@ModernMiner4 Ok, thanks for that. Have a good one.
Will I be able to Order the flips from ANACS as well ?
They don't sell them, but you can easily find them on eBay or Amazon
I'm pretty new to this hobby, and I keep hearing about "varieties"
I have yet to find a video concerning the lingo of this subject, and how it's applied.
1884 CC Morgan
1882 O Morgan
1932 S quarter
1863 Cent
They are all obvious BU coins >>>>>> so how does "variety" apply? 🧐
I can't send em in until I understand this concept. 🤔
1917 Standing Liberty Quarter had 2 varieties. Type 1 had a bare breast and type 2 had covered breast. easiest ones to remember.
@@johnLA1961 This relates to my post in what way?
@@whatsyurprob158 a variety may be defined as a die or die pairing that offers some distinctive feature not a normal part of the design. He is telling you about varieties.. Some are errors and some have more feathers and other things that can increase value of coin. Just do a search for your coins and see if those years have any.
We're Do i get the paper at to fill it out 🤔
At their website.
I would be very reluctant to send a valuable coin. In the post ,I've heard to many horror stories ,and who hasn't had items go missing 🥴
You can always take a plane, deliver it yourself, pay a one day service of about 120.00 per coin, go to lunch and in two hours your coin would be ready. Or you could just hang around and read a book in their library for a couple of hours. Or you could send them digital picture of obverse & reverse and get free opinion.
Or do you just want to have the fantasy of a rare coin and don't want to know if it's counterfeit, plated or not even as rare as you think, after paying 500.00 for a plane trip, just to find out it's not a coin, not gold, not rare and just a base metal token made as a souvenir for a tourist shop. Wake up already. Just insure it at the post office. Not hard to figure out.
I'm a coin ,and bullion dealer for 45 yrs I know exactly what I've got it's my job ,👌

What is the website
anacs.com/index.aspx
You should be wearing gloves on coins you want to be graded. Your oils are all over the edges and will work it's way to the obverse and reverse over time, even when slabbed.
Can I just have one ancient coin graded
I have heaps of old coins
No touch silver without gloves, very bad.
Touching valuable coins no matter the metal type without gloves is a very bad habit. That’s the number 1 no-no for coin dealers and collectors. Doing so not only devalues the coins and lowers the grade of coins but also damages the coins. 🤷♀️ what’s the point sending them to ANACS? 🤦🏻♀️ Just sayin…
For them to look through a microscope and justify them is ridiculous. It's a coin not a dinosaur.
Nobody stops people from selling coins raw.
I heard they steal and replace your coins , never send to anacs!
You heard wrong. I have photos of every coin I have and have NEVER had a coin stolen. That's after sending 400+ so stop believing everything you hear. And stop spreading lies unless it happened to you.
@@cecilepuckhaber2009 Whoa. That is a cut-throat answer, but absolutely correct.
Do you really think these companies have extra 1909 S VDB just sitting around so they can switch them out. Think they have an inventory of 1916-D dimes so they could switch them out. Wake up. THE ONLY coins they have are the ones YOU send them. No extras laying around. Besides how long do you think they'd stay in business if that happened even once! How long do you think it would take to switch out a 1853 Arrows & Rays 50 Cent piece? Next coin show is 3 months out, if you can find one, and it's more profitable just to grade your coins and send them back to you. So wake up. No one wants your shitty coins. They authenticate, grade, encapsulate and ship the fuckers back to you with opinion attached. Easy order. Get it! End of story.
Why waste good money on ANACS. Smart dealers only want PCGS or NGC.
Use them for eBay
