    Nice vid, congrats on those 70s and the greasy one! LOL I think ANACS is a tough grader and not a poor cousin to PCGS nor NGC. I sent in an 1886 Morgan P that looked at least like a 63 or 65. Beautiful eye appeal, uncleaned, almost pristine fields and cheek and they called it MS61. I couldn't believe it. I see graded examples like mine but at a higher grade than 61.
    I have the 2021 Morgan and Peace dollars in OGP. Will look very closely at them for consideration of grading.
    As a gentle suggestion, when you kept talking about the "no FG", etc, I think it would have been good to explain that those are the initials of Frank Gasparro who designed it. Newbies might be wondering what you meant. Cheers, Bob

      I just watched a video where a guy went through his PCGS submissions. They put 5C as the descriptor for a quarter. To me that's a very big mistake and doesn't instill much confidence. I'm going with Anacs for my first submission. I have purchased PCGS and still will, but overall I think they are overloaded and are starting to make mistakes. The quality is not what it used to be. • @jadonnoble5621
      @jadonnoble5621  Місяць тому

      What makes the 1972 d ms 64 Kennedy valuable is the no fg designation. They are rare with no fg and in mint state are worth hundreds to even over $1000. I believe in ms 64 no fg the coin books out for around $2000 but they sell between $1000-$1500.

      @@jadonnoble5621 I am not doubting the coin book prices at that way but I've personally and seen others in our collections get all excited because we found certain coins that by the book standards the condition of the coin said it should be worth x amount of dollars only to find out that the coin shops some online and definitely the ones in our area only use that pricing guide when it's in favor for them. Of course you can always try to sell person to person but that oftentimes is a lot harder in time-consuming than you would think. I sent these coins for grading because the overall increase in value from getting them graded was worth the submission price. There were a couple like the 1850 large cent that I threw in because I needed 10 coins to get the special price that ANACS was offering. This submission went really well overall and most of the coins had a huge increase in value which made them worth submitting.

      I think it depends what coins you are sending in to get graded but ANACS does a very good job overall and their coins seem to hold values close to NGC and PCGS. I usually say most coins bring about 90% of the value that PCGS and NGC get. ANACS has a pretty good reputation and are much more reasonable in price due to there not being a need for a membership. I feel like some people give ANACS a bad rap but their grading is strict and is very comparable to PCGS and NGC.

    ANACS is a waste of your money. If you break out a ANACS coin and send the same coin to PCGS or NGC almost every time the grade will much lower. This is why when it's time to sell it a smart dealer usually don't even want ANACS graded coins..

      Well that to bad but go try and sell your ANACS coin at a coin show and you will be disappointed. I sell alot of graded coins and it's worth paying more for a PCGS graded coin. When we see a ANACS MS65 coin we really see a MS64 in a PCGS holder and most dealers see the same.
