Very cool scatter terrain pices! I love the slimey green, toxic color. Rust effect is spot on. As i am seeing your Space Marine Mini, how about an army show-off? I am intrigued how your army(ies) look(s) like. Cheers!
I would love to show off a whole army of space marines in my iron gryphons colour scheme. Sadly he's current the only one painted that way 😅 I do have alot of space wolves and orks though
Hey! I've a lot of catching up to do x) It's nice to see you again (even if u didnt disappear). Love theses environment decors! Always some nice little details too (like that little dropplet spilling from the pipe ;) )!
Hey man, love the channel. Just found it, I've been binge watching it all night while working on a build & have subscribed. Which brings me to the next part... a challenge... So basically, I'm working on a build. It's a decent sized one & I seem to have hit a roadblock on the way. Without going into too much detail about the entire build, it's basically an outdoor area based on the kind of terrain you'd find in the Peak District. So essentially a small plateau with two small waterfalls & a stream, the ruins of a broken path & a bridge that's somehow still intact, etc... Atop the plateau sits the last remains of an ancient temple, guarded by a lone warrior monk. Most of the temple has completely gone & now all that remains are its ornate stone floor, the magic 'Altar Of Heroes' & one ruined wall which features a still intact stained glass window that radiates the same magic as the altar itself. Because of this, despite parts of the stone frame being broken, the window is still in one piece & looks as immaculate today as it did the day of its creation. Legend has it, if the window is ever broken, the age of heroes will come to an end & darkness will consume the land. You know... standard fantasy prophecy stuff. Or at least it would be if I had any idea how to actually do a stained glass window for D&D scale. So that's my challenge to you because dude... I need help 😂 The window itself is the picture of a sword, outlined by a star. Though for this challenge, do whatever design you like, that fits with your terrain, as long as it does have some kind of design on it, as opposed to just being a fancy window where the panels are coloured. I've seen people use Sharpies, however I don't like the fact you can see where the pen strokes are. I've tried using coloured cellophane but the glue always ruins the aesthetic, so I then tried to build the design with a wire frame, sealing it to the perspex with the intention to then use drops of Citadel Shade or Contrast paints to stain the glass... however that turned out to be a total bust too, as once again, the glue didn't want to co-operate. Finally I tried to sculpt the design with fine detailed Milliput but again it smudged the perspex. So now I'm at a total loss. And so I present this challenge. A magical stained glass window. Please help. 😭
Hi 😀 firstly thank you very much for watching my videos, welcome to the channel. Okay, I love the build idea, and I've never done a stained glass window before. The stone work around the window being broken I feel does present a problem , leaving little support for a perspex or acrylic sheet to stand against. That being said, leave it with me and I'll try some ideas currently rolling around my noggin 😅 (we can't allow the age of heroes to come to an end). I generally have about 5 projects on the go at any time, so it might take me a while to get this one made and filmed and edited for UA-cam.
@@irongryphon hey, thanks for the reply that UA-cam only just decided to notify me about 😂 Absolutely... for it is foretold that when the age of heroes comes to an end, when the last champion falls, the dark ones will return bringing chaos & despair in their wake, the world will drown in blood, the dead will rise & the mouth of Hell will swallow all those unfortunate enough to still be living.
Hey buddy, I've been working on your problem, spent a few days thinking about it, and a few days (on and off) building it. I just so happened to need a ruined/abandoned chapel 😬👍🏻
Great build mate. Love your use of items to build terrain. The wife always sighs when I "rescue" something for terrain lol. Would be great after lockdown to do a collaboration
Awesome 👍🏻 I've not played Warhammer quest or advanced hero quest, though I played abit of hero quest back in the day when it was new 😅 long time ago now
Ooooh love the toxic ooze puddle! I love seeing you turn random bits of ‘junk’ into awesome terrain.
Thanks Carrie 👍🏻😀 yeah that's been abit of a feature in my modelling style for about 20 years 😅 whatever I can get my hands on
I love doing rust too. Some nice pieces!
Cheers dude. Rust just makes everything look better 😅 thanks for watching 👍🏻

@@irongryphon Let`s see them! :- )
Okie dokie, I shall post a few models to Instagram over the coming week 😬
Pretty cool! I'd love to see some large scale build like this.
Like some sort of sewage plant? Or toxic waste silo?
Since I have Subbed, never disappointed in the builds and the format of your vids.
Cheers dude, glad you like them. Thank you for watching 👍🏻😀

Hey buddy 👍🏻 good to see you. Some projects are abit more difficult to "detail", this being one of them
Nice scatter terrain!
Thanks mate 👍🏻😀 always useful to have this kinda thing available, very multipurpose too

@@irongryphon That's awesome dude, I can't wait to see it. Will it be a video or an Instagram post?
A full video on UA-cam mate, probably at the weekend 👍🏻
Great build as always 😘
Thank you very much 😘

Happy to do so 👍🏻😀
Yeah I save everything that has even the slightest bit of interesting texture 😅
Great tutorial;thanks
You're welcome 😀👍🏻
Love it!
So do I 😅 we all need weird toxic goop from time to time
i have a lot of pvc connectors. Now i know what to do :)
Plumbing is only cool when you make awesome terrain with it 😅
You ever play Warhammer Quest? Or Advanced Hero Quest? They’re my favourite GW games. I’m just starting D&D but online using Roll20 (cos of lockdown).
Awesome 👍🏻 I've not played Warhammer quest or advanced hero quest, though I played abit of hero quest back in the day when it was new 😅 long time ago now
