Firstly, use CarPro’s Lift (alkaline) traffic film remover as the snow foam touchless pre-wash, then use CarPro’s Descale (acidic shampoo) contact wash to remove water spots and mineral deposits. Use CarPro’s Spotless, if you have hard water spots the Descale couldn’t remove. Use CarPro’s TRIX for light iron and tar contamination or Iron X followed by Tar X for heavy iron and tar contamination, respectively. I’d also use CarPro’s Reset as the final wash to remove any residual chemicals and for the weekly wash.
Lift is a pre-wash, and Descale is meant to be used after washing the car. So the correct product order should be Lift, then Reset, then IronX and finally Descale / Spotless.
i love using this soap on coated and uncoated cars its paint safe with that extra cleaning power you cant get with normal soaps.. favorite soap this far amazing finish
@@OmniGarage yep pretty much every wash, as long as its not a daily thing it wont harm your coating. Once a week or every 2 weeks would be good in my opinion
Can i use it as a pre wash for removing traffic film and some heavy dirt as strip wash and then wash with some ph neutral shampoo ? ( for not ceramic coat car) not as regular wash for once a month for example Thanks in advance
@Stewart Wilson I have used both products now and I think the Carpro did a better job at pulling the bead-maker off the surface. As to which one does a better job of refreshing/ maintaining the coating that is a super difficult question to answer and hard to tell which one is best. We did try the carpro on a freshly coated car which had water spots and most of them were removed by the product. These were pretty fresh water spots not the hard on baked ones.
Any reason why you boys don’t use the short mosmatic trigger gun & a Kranzle from obsessed Garage? :D i re-call you guys reviewing a short trigger gun with ur karcher, provided by detailing shed - do u guys no longer use it?
@Antony V The short gun is at Glenn’s house not mine. We only have one. He still uses it all the time. When we film at his it features in videos. At my house I have a crappy pressure washer and gun.
@Antony V I wish I had the funds to swing that. It’s about 5k to get the Obsessed Garage pressure washer package shipped to NZ with a good few months of lead time before it would arrive.
@@OmniGarage I got my Kranzle 1152TST for $1700 from detailing shed and the mosmatic lance and short trigger gun for $400 I think it was. $2100 for the set up. Perfect. Already have a MTMPF22.2 foam cannon & what not. Don’t worry about the OG Kranzle set up - you’d be silly to buy direct from Matt with insane postage and freight costs. Source it locally for half the price like I have!
@@OmniGarage no. I just got it. I'm waiting for the weather to warm up. Water is freezing in the hoses right now. Kinda excited to try on my ceramic coated cars from last year.
@@OmniGarage i guess it’s a reference to the pH scale of acid to alkaline i.e pH7 being neutral (water) not acid or alkaline. Above 7 is alkaline and below 7 is acidic. Descale is an acidic shampoo ~ph6. Most shampoos are slightly alkaline.

Thank you for the insight. We have used and made a video of carpro lift. It is not a good soap.

@OmniGarage what soap do you fullas like to use?
Koch Chemie Gsf or CarPro Descale depending on application.

@Jayden Sokolski are you using this soap every now and again or all the time?

Do you feel using this soap all the time could damage rubber seals ect around windows?
@@OmniGarage eh no make sure it's diluted properly and dont wash on hot surfaces. but shoot i could be wrong, i have never had trouble though :)
@Jayden Sokolski far enough.
Does this expire? I just got mine but it says manufactured December 7 2021
Unsure sorry. Reach out to Carpro and ask them.

I would use a specific pre wash foam. I haven’t had any experience with this type of product but something like Carpro lift.
How do you rate the product against Gtechniq's own Citrus snow foam to maintain the CSL coat as apposed to Carpro?
