The number of plants and how healthy they are is amazing. You definitely have that green thumb. Your knowledge on these plants is also impressive. I'm retired and my yard isn't half of what yours is. Where do you find the time? Dad.
Thanks Dad! 😊 I do a lot of research on plants and I have learned so much over the years. A lot of trial and error and failures too. Since I work part time I am able to spend a lot of time in the garden. I got the green thumb from you though. I recall you being in the newspaper for having 7 foot tall tomatoes plants! 😂 Love ya!
Your garden is really filling in nicely. I'm still waiting for my hydrangeas to bloom here in my zone 5b garden. They are small and it's only their second year. I like that Atlantis sedum. I want to get some of those Blue Mouse Ears hostas. I have the First Memory veronica which is a lavender color. I grow the Queen Lime zinnias. Bonny
What happened to your pink dynamo Mtn hydrangea that you planted in your property line in August 2022? I hope it didn’t die. I was hoping to see how it was doing this season.
Thank you for asking. It is still alive, but I moved it and it didn't flower this year. My fault, I didn't protect it properly for the winter. I made sure to insulate it this year and, fingers crossed, it will flower next year. I will be sure to give an update on it in the spring. The foliage is absolutely gorgeous on that plant, so even if it doesn't flower I am ok with that. 😊
I love the raspberry coneflowers too.
Thanks, Charlotte! Aren't they just glorious ☺️💚
Nice collection! Beautiful arrangement!
Thank you so much 😊💚
