*EDIT: At 2:10 - Copper/Brass Rivets feature a solid Brass mandrel and Copper/Copper Rivets feature a copper plated mandrel. We're very sorry for the confusion.

After finding the uncommon brass mandrel/copper rivet on ebay, I find that the very same supplier (you folks) have a video here showing off all of your wares. Glad to see someone thinking ahead like that!

What rivets expand inward? There’s a guy on UA-cam putting sideskirts on his Camaro and he said to use rivets the expand in for tighter connection.

Does anyone know why all Brass Pop Rivets don't exist? The closest I can find are Brass Mandrel and Copper Head.

Here's a breakdown of the key differences between aluminum, copper, and stainless steel rivets, along with their ideal uses:
    Material:
Aluminum: Lightweight, malleable, good strength-to-weight ratio.
Copper: Malleable, good conductor of heat and electricity.
Stainless Steel: Strong, corrosion-resistant, high melting point.
    Strength:
Stainless Steel: Strongest of the three, with high tensile and shear strength.
Aluminum: Lower strength than stainless steel, but still offers good holding power for its weight.
Copper: Weakest in terms of sheer strength, not ideal for high-stress applications.
    Corrosion Resistance:
Stainless Steel: Excellent corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor use and wet environments.
Aluminum: Can corrode, especially when paired with dissimilar metals. Not recommended for harsh environments.
Copper: Moderately corrosion-resistant, but can develop a patina over time.
Note: Due to its high nobility, copper itself resists corrosion. However, when connected to a less noble metal like steel or aluminum in a wet environment, it acts as a cathode and accelerates corrosion in the other metal.
    Applications:
Aluminum: Ideal for lightweight applications, sheet metal work, and when weight is a major concern (aircraft construction). Not suitable for high-stress situations or where dissimilar metals touch.
Copper: Often used for decorative purposes due to its color, good electrical conductivity (electrical grounding), and heat conduction (heat sinks). Not recommended for high-strength joints.
Stainless Steel: The most versatile option due to its strength and corrosion resistance. Ideal for outdoor applications, construction, shipbuilding, appliances, and anywhere a strong, durable fastener is needed.
    Additional Considerations:
Cost: Aluminum is generally the cheapest, followed by copper and then stainless steel.
Conductivity: Copper offers the best electrical and thermal conductivity.

Rivets hold two materials together tightly and efficiently. For an example on the installation of pop rivets, refer to our video on the subject: ua-cam.com/video/CrMX4vgeyXM/v-deo.html
We don't have any projects going at this time to demonstrate them all in a real world scenario, but if you want a real world example of the uses of pop rivets, take a look at your jeans.

A lot of pop rivets have such a variety of uses that fitting them all in a video would be difficult, especially when many of these uses may come down to personal taste and an application's needs! For example, countersunk rivets are ideal for more flush installations, but a given person may prefer them for a clean look, even in applications where a flush finish isn't required.
