I love seeing dark skinned women like yourself being beautiful. Im your shade and ive always said that beauty is not about shade but maintenace, information and not being lazy with self care. Almost anyone can be pretty wigh effort, information and money. With respect to humility, class and grace is about being humble tho and beauty is nothing without elegance. Hey first of all thanks for taking valuable time out of your life to engage, it means a lot to me. And i agree beauty is def not about skin tone but facial symmetry, and you are definitely on to the money about up keep there is no such thing as a ugly woman just lazy ones ;)

Beauty is obviously subjective and beauty standards are different in different areas of the world and also change over time, but calling ugly *women* lazy is just mean. It's OK to be ugly, some people will be considered ugly by most, unless they go and get their entire face redone in surgery, like the Kardashians, and moreover, it's better than OK not to invest all our precious time and our money on trying to be beautiful, it requires a certain level of privilege, and many "lazy" women I've known, were in fact the hardest working women, having great careers, or family, or hobbies, or giving to their community. Life is much more than looking pretty, that will go away with age or sickness, no matter how hard you try and how much resources you put towards it. But at least if those high standards were also applied to men, I would not comment on it being so misogynistic.
