Believe it or not I just recently picked these up at a garage sale and many more mins. And I was looking for ways to paint them found your channel and was pleased with the content it has given me a few really good ideas. Thanks 🙏😇🇺🇸
I haven’t painted Warhammer in nearly ten years. Your videos have totally inspired me. Set up a work space and spent a lot! Shall be following your work, Sir!
Very nice colour scheme. I appreciate that you put the brushing on fast forward and added the subtitles, instant subscription for that! If you could only show how you painted the purple cloak on another video it would be super useful. Thanks.
I guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Josue Camdyn i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I’ve learned so much from your videos. I’ve only just started painting miniatures and these are the best paint tutorials I’ve seen on UA-cam. You are so talented. More videos like this please!
Havent seen your vids before, you got a new sub! Looks really good, you explain it very calm and clear! Thanks for taking your time to teach us scrubs .
I sometimes find the brushwork hard to follow due to the speedup. I know there's a delicate balance between maintaining audience attention and getting through the material, but as a newbie, I'm struggling in a lot of places to follow your brushstrokes and technique due to the pace. I can fix this on my end, of course, by slowing the video down and rewarching sections (which I often do), but I'd love to see you mix in some real speed footage with your current style. Please don't take this as anything other than constructive criticism - I'm no certainly no content editor, your channel is amazing, and you have a wonderful following who obviously love your content like it is. Your humbly - a very impressed wannabe. EDIT: I also see top comment is from someone who appreciates the fast forward brushing, so now I'm completely second guessing myself. If only life were simple :)
By the Emperor, those colors go together so well, I think I have to paint some Sisters of Battle like this when they come out this year. Would be a good fit, I think
Well done, To be fair I'm surprised many people who play board games do not make more attempts, in adding other franchise characters into their armies rooster, I mean Reinhard fits very well into the Stormcast Eternals as well as some of the Space Marine Chapter of Warhammer 40.000, Black Templars, Gray Knights, oh his moustache and battle scared eye would look so cool on a mini now that I think about it, Either way awesome work, really did justice with your skills, I particularly love Angharad Brightshield having a face now, the eleven maiden protectors of the High Elven Queen is a good fit, a bit hotty eye candy but good nonetheless,
Have been interested in Shadespire for a while, but not a great fan of the Stormcast Eternals. Interesting to see them with a different paint scheme. Will have to do that and also swap the heads since I don't like the helmets. Would also like to convert them to look like they have chainmail under the plate, to make them less like Space Marines.
Only just come across your channel with this vid, and you've easily got my sub. Lovely work, filmed excellently and very informative. The only thing I'm left wanting is to know how you did the glowing eyes on the finished models.
Advansis Sistemas They are mostly automatically generated. I try and go in and fix the errors when I get time. It would be great if some people in the community submitted subtitles for other languages.
The trick is to remember to always pull. Never "push" your brush tip, notice how he only ever "drags" or "pulls" the tip along, to prevent mashing down the hair and causing it to splay out.
This is great! I have followed you on twitter for a while and didnt know you were making vids now (I must have missed that update). Definitely subscribed and cant wait for more!
Awesome twist on these models, very cool head swaps and very cool paint scheme. How did you go about painting the glowing eyes? They look really great.
What color would you as a base on the chest portion and front robe on the sequitors? Im bout to give this a go but i dont know what color to choose. Thanks, love the video!
Rob your work really inspires me, to paint more, my real name is also Rob, quick question how can I put my GW paint into droppers without losing too much paint, also where did you get the bottles ? They look like empty reaper bottles ?
Excellent job on these models. I wanted to do something similar with my models and now I have a video to help me. I'm surprised you didn't wet blend the purple on Severin's cloak. Would that have make painting the cloak easier?
+Brandon Huss Glazing typically takes longer but gives smoother transitions. Even when I wet blend something I end up fixing it with glazes. At the time I was also into glazing stuff.
Hey man. What kind of brushes do you use on these? At 10:51, for instance, the tips on them look great. I would love a set like these. I have series 7 but the tips don’t always hold and the reservoir doesn’t look as big. Thanks!
Did you trim the pegs for the push fit or something? I’m having some difficulty taking them apart after putting them together like you did on your video.
Where did you get the diagram you used to show the color plan at 0:20? Is that custom, or has that been published somewhere? Thanks for a great tutorial!
The faceache link doesn't work. It appears to be truncated to robpaintsmod rather than facebook.com/robpaintsmodels it's the same on a couple of other videos.
MrKevoshi I painted them mostly over 2 days. It probably comes in at about 2-3 hours per model not counting drying times for washes etc. It's hard to judge fully because I paint slower when I'm filming and I stripped Steelheart a couple of times to test out colours.
Probs a bit late to get a reply to this; when I mix the rakarth and mechanicus together the paint seems mich darker than yours. I mixed then exactly 50/50 then diluted with thinner and flow improver... dies the rakarth get darker with age?
Something contrasting I think. Maybe something like this www.games-workshop.com/resources/catalog/product/920x950/99120218022_PalladorsVanguard03.jpg The dark grey body would contrast the rider while the purple feathers compliment the accent colour.
Does someone know a color paint similar to the 50/50 mixture for the whole armour? I tried to mix both colors that he used but no chance... Cannot get the same colour.
Why don't you have more subs...this is what annoys the life out of me, when you have complete divs like spikey bits just spitting out crap videos every week and raking it in, then we have raw tallent like we have here going completely under the radar....madness, anyway I gave you a sub =) keep it up mate, any chance I could request some Seraphon stuff? Cheers.

Rest in peace Rob, your tutorials were the best.
Never before have I seen such an eloquent paint job, I think we have a future golden daemon winner.
That basecoat went on bloody beautiful!!!
Neat conversion! They look really great without helmets!

@Josue Camdyn it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my account !
@Kristian Duke Glad I could help :)
I’ve learned so much from your videos. I’ve only just started painting miniatures and these are the best paint tutorials I’ve seen on UA-cam. You are so talented. More videos like this please!
I love the colours used here. I think I need to pick a set of these guys up. They’d make great hero’s to aspire to be for my party one day
Came to see the technique on the shoulderpads, Looks amazing!
Oh my god you make stormcast look so frikin cool!
Hi mate, how did you painted the blue glowing eyes. I painted the minis like you and was an excellent guide, but I couldn't get the eyes like that :(
Havent seen your vids before, you got a new sub! Looks really good, you explain it very calm and clear! Thanks for taking your time to teach us scrubs .

... and I just realised you do real-time streams of painting which is exactly what I needed
By the Emperor, those colors go together so well, I think I have to paint some Sisters of Battle like this when they come out this year. Would be a good fit, I think
Ever heard of the space marine chapter of that sport this cooler scheme
great use of time advanced video to really show your use of multiple thin layers when highlighting and layering.
The purple colour has impressed me. I will paint mine purple
Subscribed for making him look like Reinhardt!
Very nice paint job.
I love the matte grey for the armor. It gives them a more cartoonish look. Reminds me of overwatch.
How on Earth could this be accomplished without an airbrush? That armor looks amazing.
At first I was like the white just looks dull and after you added the grey I couldnt help but want to own those models. Great job dude.
Awesome video! Just the inspiration I needed to get painting 👍
looks very cool
Nice vid, great brush work.
After watching this video, I'm using this stormhost for my army. Awesome video mate! Subbed.
They look really nice great tutorial
Beautiful work, they look great.
Cool. I opted for metallic blue since the metal is lightning. So my shout out to electrum.
Well done,

was lookin' for how you made the faces,... -_- great video by the way ;)
Wow the quality of your videos (and painting) are so good! You deserve way more subs...
have you painted more of this scheme? Would love to see some more models done the same way.
Have been interested in Shadespire for a while, but not a great fan of the Stormcast Eternals. Interesting to see them with a different paint scheme. Looks dope
Beautiful work

Thanks you very much for english subtitles
Great work!

Outstanding talent
Wonderful work... Wow...
awesome paint job
Amazing work! Those seam-lines tho...
How do you manage to keep your brush point so well...pointed when your painted?
The trick is to remember to always pull. Never "push" your brush tip, notice how he only ever "drags" or "pulls" the tip along, to prevent mashing down the hair and causing it to splay out.

gr8 job, give me more :) can't wait

thx for video,man!
Can you do a video on how to paint stormcast eternals prosecutors
Very nice. Where/how did you get the bottles with Citadel logos?
Excellent job on these models. I wanted to do something similar with my models and now I have a video to help me.

Great paint work, love the colour palette here. Quick question, where do you obtain the dropper bottle versions of the GW paints? Thanks in advance.
Hey man. What kind of brushes do you use on these? At 10:51, for instance, the tips on them look great. I would love a set like these.
I have series 7 but the tips don’t always hold and the reservoir doesn’t look as big.
Thanks!
Can you please do a beginners airbrush tutorial. Keep up the videos!
Did you trim the pegs for the push fit or something? I’m having some difficulty taking them apart after putting them together like you did on your video.
Do those airbrushes just go through paint really fast? or does it not use a lot?
So helpful
great video and great channel! well worth a sub
Is there a contrast method for this scheme somewhere?
Where did you get the diagram you used to show the color plan at 0:20? Is that custom, or has that been published somewhere? Thanks for a great tutorial!
I believe it was in the first Stormcast Battletome.
Why you dont show how to paint heads?:(
great work sir! greetings mr coolsskin
Did you put the GW paints into those larger squeeze bottles yourself, or are they available from GW?
Hey nice video :)
Could You tell which brush you used to paint details such as shoulder with hammer (blue/violet color)?
Michał Michał that would be a Winsor & Newton Series 7. I believe it was my size 1 for all those areas.
how you would paint the annihalators in this color mode ?
Please keep camera as close as here, can’t see every stwp in previous video, thanks, video is great.
I think I found the colour scheme of my custodes/Legion colors now...
Hello, where do you get the woman head on the stormcast ?
Hi Rob what music/song do you use in the Background here? It's very relaxing. Helps to paint with some chill music like this.
The faceache link doesn't work. It appears to be truncated to robpaintsmod rather than facebook.com/robpaintsmodels it's the same on a couple of other videos.
Happened to see your painting tutorials for some inspiration. You earned a new sub. Any estimation on how long it took for you to complete them all?
MrKevoshi I painted them mostly over 2 days. It probably comes in at about 2-3 hours per model not counting drying times for washes etc. It's hard to judge fully because I paint slower when I'm filming and I stripped Steelheart a couple of times to test out colours.

The video is a little over exposed so don't worry too much about it.
@@RobPaintsModels oh thanks for the reply haha.
Ok, will give it a go :D
What would be a nice color for the fur of an animal they are riding?
Something contrasting I think. Maybe something like this www.games-workshop.com/resources/catalog/product/920x950/99120218022_PalladorsVanguard03.jpg

Does someone know a color paint similar to the 50/50 mixture for the whole armour? I tried to mix both colors that he used but no chance... Cannot get the same colour.
Where did you got the head you used for obryn?
It's a Space Wolf head.
"Basically 4 colors really"
-actually has to buy like 20 different colored paints-
Yup! XD
We need a new video
Edit:Pleassssse
Why don't you have more subs...this is what annoys the life out of me, when you have complete divs like spikey bits just spitting out crap videos every week and raking it in, then we have raw tallent like we have here going completely under the radar....madness, anyway I gave you a sub =) keep it up mate, any chance I could request some Seraphon stuff? Cheers.
You can absolutely request Seraphon stuff as my SO has a Lizardman army that has plenty of unpainted models 😁 Anything in particular?
Anything to be honest haha, just what ever you can get your hands on, that would be fantastic =D cheers mate.
Gloves?
I think I must have gotten a bad pot of Pallid Wych Flesh. Mine is very white.
+Steve Keen it looks whiter while it's wet. It should dry as an off white cream colour.
Hakuna matata
Sooooo much adds !!!
Didn't finished the video. That a shame, good skills exposed
As some random dude said on another video, skip to the end then restart video, if it still works, it should remove all the ads.
How did you attach the heads?
Can u buy the woman separately?
ill sell the one i have if the price is right XD greetings mr cool
Man, I don't understand how you use those Layer paints. My experience has been very negative
Did you trim the pegs for the push fit or something? I’m having some difficulty taking them apart after putting them together like you did on your video.
