So awesome men. I was waiting this video to start yo paint my models. I'm gonna go with the cairn wraith technique (don't have an airbrush) wish me luck with the loaded brush.
This is great work! Very well done color scheme!! Are you going to do more Nighthaunt models (other than the Cairn Wraith)? I’ll be following that method since no Air Brush.
Greetings and thank you for yet another useful guide. Do you think you could provide us with a bit of info concerning the airbrush process? For example, PSI for the reverse zenithal thingie and the glaze spray, also consistency of air paint in terms of flow-improver ratio, if any etc. Thanks a lot.
Great content Rob, was just wandering why you don't have the last bit on the tip covering the needle? I had 2 come in the box and was wandering what the differences were, and if I'd get a better result without.
Most professional airbrush artists remove the nozzle tip cover to make clearing dry-tip (when paint clogs on the end of the needle) easier. I myself do the same thing and have a damp sponge in my airbrush area (on top of the spray booth) as it is the easiest way to deal with dry-tip I know of.
@@RobPaintsModels Thanks mate. Its awesome how similar ours turned out but we went the complete opposite to each other. Mine started white, then I airbrushed blue--blue/black--black from above, then airbrushed SC75 Green Ink to get my spoopy ghosty bits. I think I will use your method for my Nightvault warband, they look great. Also, I dont know how but your drybrushing is so nice and smooth. You take it to a proper art and technique and it looks amazing.
Hi Rob, thank you for the video! I'd love to know how you did that rotational panning at the start of the video! Did you turn the board or was it an actual freehand pan? Thanks!
I cannot now refer to my Nighthaunts team as anything other than the Ghosty Woos. Love it.
Awesome paintjob mate....now I refer to my nighthaunts as the "Ghostly Woos" :)
Congratulations!! You said 'Ghosty Woo Effect' so many times that I am now conditioned to refer to it as that as well.
My work here is done.
It was cool, thank you! Especially painting first with black-white, then adding a filter colors with glazes.
incredible bro!
awesome, have to try the loaded brush technique
Fantastic work

Mighty fine job! The underpainting was key!👍🏻😎
Fantastic work.
Great painting mate 👍🏻

Vert Nice job. Thanks.
I've been waiting for this one.

I use 30psi for everything and I don't thin the air paints.
Can the initial grey to white gradient be done with a cheap airbrush?
Cool

It makes it easier to clean off dried paint.

Hehe.... dry tip.
Would it work to airbrush a shade instead of a glaze on the robes? Awesome paintjob!!!
You could but it will be much darker. It won't behave like a shade though if that's what you were wanting.
Great video. What did you base this model with looks awesome as always :)
How can this scheme be achieved without a airbrush?
so pretty man
Whats the ratio of your MYRM glaze? I might need to make up a pot of that stuff, looks amazing.

Damn it Rob why did it have to be an airbrush?
You can do it without it'll just take a lot longer.

It's a rotating display stand.
@@RobPaintsModels Excellent! Thank you for the reply man. Keep up the good work!
Really awesome but the skin colour feels wrong.
I will make mine blueish
Really? I thought it worked very well. But I can see maybe a dark Blueish there as well.
