Really interested in the Scout. Wasn't at Chicago, apparently, but I think it has potential to be a great vehicle.

Sorry, some checks here... The Honda Prologue isn’t the same vehicle as the Chevy Equinox EV, it's on the same platform as the Chevy Blazer EV and the Cadillac Lyriq, so the pricing really isn't inflated, it's right in line with both of its cousins.The Equinox EV shares the Cadillac Opriq platform. Also, that was not the EV9 GT Line, it was the brand new GT. You can tell by the front bumper. They introduced it at the LA Auto show, along with the refreshed EV6 with the larger battery pack, which will now also be built in West Point, Georgia, along with the EV9. I'm surprised you didn't mention that. Additionally, I can't believe you overlooked was the gorgeous Acura Performance EV Concept car, just beyond where you were going on about the Fiats. That would have been cooler to see! One last thing, The R3 and R3X release time hasn't been announced, so they aren’t coming out next year with the R2, just so no one is expecting that. I'm surprised Scout wasn't there, in Chicago. I have an R2 and Scout Traveler reserved.
@@TBCreative-10 I appreciate the corrections! I wish the Scouts were here! I spoke to someone at Rivian who said R2 in early 26 and they’re aiming for R3X in late 26 because RJ wants to but they haven’t finalized the R3 and R3X timeline yet. Of course all cars are always subject to change due to financing and demand. As for the Honda, it is the 85kWh battery and motors from the Equinox. That’s why charging is slow at most chargers since most EA stations max out at 350 amps combined with the low voltage of the pack. It also has the Equinox motors which results in the dreadfully slow front wheel drive on both models.
@ Oh, gotcha! I thought you were talking about the platform being the same. Good point about the battery pack and motors! I love RJ, but think he may be too optimistic about when the R3/R3X are coming out. I’d be willing to bet they come out between the R2 release and when Scout begins delivering the Traveler and Terra, so maybe early’27.
@ I think that’s a realistic timeline too. I just really hope the R2 and Scouts are on time.
