    Notwithstanding the 90% score, I have never used them in social speaking. People oftenly have an ocean of vocabulary, but only use a pool of them. 😊

    The way I'm trying to learn British English, try to learn Portuguese from Portugal. It's harder but genuine.
    I agree, the Portuguese prepositions are a big headache 😂 good luck though!

    as a portuguese (BR) speaker, articles and prepositions are tricky to understand sometimes, but in English. I mix some prepositions up and add articles when shouldn"t have, I think it's because our understanding of our own language, we tend to apply these knowleadge into another language

      I think prepositions are difficult to learn in any language except your native language. They translate a way of thinking, a way of organizing relationships in space.

    18/20. I failed at tackle. I started wandering about tacky, then tacky things, then tacky behaviours in tacky people and I almost lost it. But I got to put myslef together again until "knack". Words from Latin like omnipresent are aesier for us, romance languages natives.

    I only failed one word! Some of the difficult words are of Latin origin so I guess they are easier for a Spaniard than for an English-speaking person. For us many phrasal verbs are a nightmare to learn. 😊

    If it's true that this means I have a wider vocabulary than most Oxford or Harvard students, my perception of those institutions just declined enormously in the past 15 minutes.
    English is my third language, and I found these to be pretty easy. (I'm not great at languages, more of a numbers/stem guy, that's only got as far as highschool)

    Would you mind if I ask you some questions in English why i could and should would we don't pronounce the letter L but in mould we pronounce it. And in English grammar if m came after it. B. It's silent but in words like number bombing and some words we pronounce it Andrew last Question Are all British people use the glottal t and are British people understanding all British accents
