    COOKING TIP - THE EASIEST WAY TO PEEL BELL PEPPERS - PEELING PEPPERS MADE EASY
    Today, I am sharing the easiest way to peel roasted bell peppers (green and red). I discovered it after years of struggling :)
    Wash and clean the bell peppers
    Slice the peppers in a half
    Place the peppers in a baking tray with the open side down
    Place the tray in the middle of the oven and set the broiler to high
    Broil the bell peppers for 15 minutes
    Take the tray with the bell peppers out of the oven and cover the peppers with a cloth, creating a steam bath
    Wait for the bell peppers to cool off
    You should be able to skin the bell peppers very easily.

    That is very helpful. The only thing I wouldn't do is use aluminum foil. Peppers and tomatoes are acidic and aluminum touching will leech into vegetable

    • @AnOldSchoolHome
      @AnOldSchoolHome  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, I agree. However, you will have your hands full washing the baking tray. Not too bad tho. Just let it sit with water and dish soap for a couple of hours. Thank you for watching!

    • @AnOldSchoolHome
      @AnOldSchoolHome  Рік тому

      Hi SK, if you are going to stuff the bell peppers, you have to stuff them, cook them and then peel the skin. They get very soft when prepared like this and you will not be able to stuff them. I don’t like the skin either, but there is no other way to cook them stuffed.
