Great video thanks. For future reference you don't need to go as high up with the bell box. That spring is anti tamper so if anyone ripped it off the wall the spring would make the alarm go off.
cheers for that Hayden. just researching alarms, and came across your video. I didn't have this in the running, because of some of the reviews, however - changed my mind after watching this. nice one mate
Nice one. You should try and hide that hub a bit. Screw to wall behind a cabinet or something. They're good alarms for the money. And have anti-jamming features. Scary up ladder I agree. Lol.
Hiya Hayden, thanks for making this video as it's helped me loads : ) Can you please tell me how often do you need to get up the scary ladder and change the siren batterys ? All the best.
Hi ave got the same model as you have bell box is mounted and switched on p I r sensors are also mounted modem is connected. BUT really strugaling on what to do next just worried in case the alarm goes of and I cant turn it off got the yale on my phone but haven't got a clue on what to do it's been registered but still stuck on how to get pin for key pad ? Can you help please
I agree with the other comments, your editing has gotten a lot better! And this was a great episode. Even troubleshooting was good. Some people might not like the video, however until they own their own property they wont understand the importance of keeping it secure. The world has changed from my parents time :P Good video, keep it up.
Cool vid bud !will you be doing cctv install I had my bike knicked from my bike store and I think they had a go at the car so I'm thinking cameras ! So vid on that would help. Peace 🤙
@@keomakk There are 3 Alarm Box options. An empty Dummy, one that runs from large batteries so you need a ladder to change them and third one that has a mains charger. The last option needs you to have a 13A mains socket inside the house and Yale provide a small charger that stays on 24/7. The last option also has the replaceable batteries just in case you forget to have the mains supply on.
Yeah it’s alright does the job bang on for 270 (costco) I’ve armed it via my phone and tried to walk around the house and it goes off with in seconds 👍 and don’t know what people are moaning about the app is fine
The info is in the Installation Manual and therefore Yale don't put a leaflet into the box for the key ring they send you. Really poor customer service. You need to know how to pair the device and it shows you on page 12 that if you press the middle strip with the black closed padlock that that pairs it however you need to press the button on the hub as well at the same time. Of course they pair some items in the kit and if its an extra accessory you use an additional step the learn button. Yale think this is all simple but they are geeks and of course we don't find it easy. They market the system using a 3 minute video for installation and say the entire system can installed in minutes. Make sure you pull out the plastic strip to power up the fob.
Hey great video! Do you know if your able to add old sensors, which were added to your old yale system when upgrading to a new one. I tried pairing but it wont work for me:(
Hello mate, just a quick one about what if the internet isnt working then can you still use your mobile phone to set the alarm up and get notifications as well please
It depends. Basically the system runs on batteries and uses radio signals so if the mains go off your alarm system continues just fine and also your Siren outside if anyone tries or gets in. However your internet will stop so no warning is sent to your phone. In my case my broadband comes via the mobile phone mast to a Netgear router so I do get a warning on my phone
Alright mate to be honest it’s been brilliant I turn it on before bed and when I get up in the morn it goes off with in seconds 👍 definitely recommend one pal
@@JustbeingHayden thanks. I wasnt sure after looking at reviews on Amazon but after watching your video I bought one. Arrived today. Set up seems pretty easy. Not gone up ladder yet though.

Thanks for the info!
...about the drill...you must select the hammerdrill function before drilling a concrete wall....
Great video buddy, when pairing press the pairing button on the box first then the item you are pairing, then go to the app
Put the PIR facing the opposite way so that you don’t get false alarms from - for example - a postman coming to the door.
cheers for that Hayden. just researching alarms, and came across your video. I didn't have this in the running, because of some of the reviews, however - changed my mind after watching this. nice one mate

Just bought one of these.Brilliant video mate, proper down to earth instructions.Hope it goes that good for me.Again, brill video.
Cheers man try to explain it as easy as possible hope it protects your home 👍
Hey, building a new house - it seems everything is battery powered except Outdoor Siren Box ?
The outside one has battery's supplied its been on 2 years now and still going strong 💪

Just curious to know how this system is performing since this upload?
Spot on can’t fault it 👍
Thanks for this. When the alarm goes off what does your phone and app do? Does it just come up with an alert, does it sound and vibrate? etc
Does the fob have to be in range of the keypad ?
So if I want to get in break glass near keypad to turn of alarm
Better than the instruction manual that’s for sure!
Thanks so much 🙏 💓
Hi mate random question your stair carpet what is it called ?
what happens if base station loses power or network. Is it completely reliant on this E.G. No cellular backup?
If the internet goes down. Would the alarm system still fuction. But you just wouldnt get notifications on your phone thanks
why nobody not uploaded yale's camera recording examples?

Hey! Great vid mate, really helped 👍🏽 what’s the situation with battery on all the items? Do you have to take them down and charge often?
Mate honestly thanks so much for this video! It really helped me! Keep posting man you're good at explaining stuff
Thanks man glad it helped 🙏
I wonder what the battery change interval has been? How's your experience?
Tbh it’s very good some door sensors need new batteries every few months but other than that can’t knock the system
Does the keypad have a low battery indicator?
How did you pair the external siren im having nightmares with it
Great vid bro 👍🏻🤛🏻 your editings spot on too tbf, and cinematic shots lookin 🔥
What cinematics did I do lmao 😂
I've been looking at these for my garage but how long do the batteries last?
Good question
Last quite a while but you will need to change them here and there
Just watched your video and put my alarm on mate. Thanks for the vid!
No worries 🙏 glad I could help
Hi mate how do you had an extra remote fob I bought off Amazon. How do you pair it
Sorry. I can't help myself. Did you try to cut metal staples with a Stanley knife?
Cool vid bud !will you be doing cctv install I had my bike knicked from my bike store and I think they had a go at the car so I'm thinking cameras ! So vid on that would help. Peace 🤙
Yeah man I’ll see what cameras I decide to get buddy 👍
Does the hub also make sounds like an internal siren when the alarm goes off? i.e. after the hub countdown beeping... thanks!
Yes it does go off
Just be aware that a burglar can easily take the base station during the temporisation and destroy it with water, hammer, dropping it out of signal...
What about animals ? Does sensor gonna catch them up ?
Good one tbf I can’t say it does it detects motion but I can’t say I’ve saw any
How long does the battery last
Hi I want to take off my Yale alarm outside and refit it higher up towards roof. What do I need to do to reset as when I unscrew it's going to go off
Alright buddy I’m not to sure on that one 😩 my apologies mate
@@JustbeingHayden In the app go to settings-devices-siren and tick by pass. this should make the siren ignore the system.
Great honest down to earth review........Cheers geezer
Did the external siren need an ethernet connection and did it need to be wired with power?
Nah just plug it in and connect it via the app 🙏
Not the hub itself. I'm talking about the siren you had to climb a ladder for. Does that run on batteries?

One third of the way in before you actually plug something in!
Great little review. cheers fella
Ohhhh tut... I thought you were going to install it to the ashtray sorry astra... Jooooke! Been watching since day dot... Keep it up!
What powers the siren mate ? Nice one
Does the smart hub and the outside unit both have sirens in? Thanks
Yeah it’s bloody loud 😂

Really appreciate this video mate, installing mine later today 👍🏻
A very helpful video. Thank you.
Glad I could help 👍
How do you get the remote controller key ring to synch with the hub will not synch for me just constantly says searching.
cheers.

Good Video, how good is the app? In terms of response after all the setup?
Is this the IA-320 Smart home kit?
Faisal Tariq - Work I’m not sure which one it is pal but it’s been brilliant tbh mate
The one on video is SR-320
Great Vid, thanks for taking the time to make / post
Is there monthly charge for it?
Saugat Gautam nope 👍
Hey great video! Do you know if your able to add old sensors, which were added to your old yale system when upgrading to a new one. I tried pairing but it wont work for me:(
These SR alarms are compatible with EF alarm accessories but no others
This or the Pyronix enforcer? Is the Yale Sync alarm grade 2 secure?
No the yale isn't I would go for the enforcer all day long but would recommend you get it done by an approved company
Make more of these mate !
Hello mate, just a quick one about what if the internet isnt working then can you still use your mobile phone to set the alarm up and get notifications as well please

nice one man :) haha
U should of said my dad is a alarm engineer, he would of fit a complete system in the house ahaa. But good job anyways mate.
Hahaha no way I think I've got the one up from that, there's a bigger panel and it sends SMS. But they're great alarms, dead easy to fit and use.
Good review mate. But 'groovy' honest........😂
