Ibushi's really resonates with me. It's that perfect combination of unnerving and ethereal, as beautiful and abominable a sound as the creature himself.
Wow! I didn’t realize how similar some of these are and the connections they imply. Goss’s roar sounds quite a bit like Rajang’s in a different pitch, which may be because they both represent Oni. Very cool. Maybe they’re biologically related as well.
I adore how Gore Magala sounds almost rattle snake-ish in its roar, compared to Shagaru who sounds almost as if someone had hit a celestial gong symbolizing its evolution into Elder Dragon territory

Not these ones. The Apexes in Rise are survivors of Ibushi’s storms, the experience leaving them scarred but stronger. I believe it’s due to a translation error; in Japan, the Apexes have a distinct title from the ones made by Magalas.

@@Gazing-09 Every Apex as presented in Rise occurs from Ibushi's influence. I believe it's due to the fact Ibushi uses dragon energy to stir the winds, which gives it different effects to actual storms. With Amatsu, that's an interesting point. When Utusushi brings in Zinogre, you can see the Stinkmink particles around him, meaning he found one wandering around and lured it to Amatsu. Why that Zinogre was there when most monsters flee huge storms is still unknown. Mere coincidence, or did it feel its newfound power allowed it to challenge a creature it would otherwise flee from?

Can't say whether or not they genuinely aided us or just felt the threat and wanted to deal with it by themselves without paying mind to those puny humans. Or maybe both?
