G'day all! Just wanted to let you know that I'm having some issues with recording the new Dishong Tower series. (Thus the old series being uploaded instead) I have actually recorded the first episode of the new playthrough three times! 😐 For some reason my mic isn't recording. I think I have fixed the problem, but I'll need to start again for the 4th time. Sorry about the delay. I'm trying my best 🧟♂️
Well, it depends. Scrapping nets you 6 leather a chair, and no mech parts. Salvaging with a wrench nets mech parts, but less leather. Ideally, you do either as meets your needs. I tend to keep a stockpile of 50+ office chairs (yes, the building has more than 50 of these things) to scrap or salvage, and just stuff them in a chest up on base floor.
@@damnzambiesWhen you're feeling up for it, Id happily join you for an all-speeds nightmare/insane, feral sense: night co-op of the wasteland mode challenge. ;P
Seems like the Aircraft Challenge. According to when Glock played, he said that a player could build off a wall for resources as long as that player didn't touch the ground (a.k.a. bridge to trees in front of building.)
Definitely! You can build off structures in this mod, you just can't touch the ground or you die ☠️ not that you can get enough materials to build anything 🤣
@@damnzambies Well, the front 4 trees net you enough wood to barricade your front entry, which will give you a break from any ferals that spawn outside... You're still going to be in trouble if a heavy zombie like a tourist shows up, but it'll buy you some time to clear floors 1 and 2 without surprise adds. (Your world name also dictates what sleepers spawn, and where, meaning you can rehearse your encounters if you're feeling you want to play it safe that run--just use the same world name as last time) Sadly, you don't get tree seeds if you play the wasteland or desert versions, but the pine forest and snow worlds let you get a couple pine cones. I make some topsoil and plant them on floor 9, in a demolished corner of the floor that is both free of zombies and open to the sky. That is where I make my base. It's also a great area to plant additional crops once you can make cheaper farm plots.
In practice, the sidewalk around the building, as well as most of the rubble, inflicts irreparable internal bleeding which will kill you. Everything outside the sidewalk is just irradiated, and you can, hypothetically, stand on it for a short period to acquire snow, clay, sand, fallen animals, zombie loot bags, et. al. But it's up to your own standards whether you do that or not. I rarely find a moment where I want to be on ground floor at a time where I have both wildlife to snipe, and a means to kill it safely, but there are some mornings where there's nothing but deer, and it never hurts to come downstairs and visit 3f for the 3 viable planters you can place crops on--so it never hurts to peak outside and see if today is the day you exploit the irradiated zone for some quick meat.

Remember the clay trick for this one my friend !
Another tip for you btw its better the place down the office chairs and take them appart with the wrench for mechanical parts 😎
Right! I did know that one from Glock9. But I always forget to do that haha.
@@damnzambies Nah mate, you do not forget, it is just that you don't remembering. Duuuhhhhhh
Different subject. We need more from you PLEASE
@zedinator it's coming Zed! I'm having some issues with my new setup to be honest. I have recorded the new episode three times now. But it's coming

It was a nice run. Thanks for the laughs. 😅
The new one isn't going well 🤣 seems the challenge as gotten harder!

@@damnzambies bridges to trees = wood and seeds for more trees.
@MrBudd53909 sounds easy. But not when there are no trees inside the building 👎

I love that Hud mod
It's super clean. I'm not sure which mod that one is 🤔 it comes with the mod package for the challenge.
@@damnzambies yeah man it’s just so simple and perfect
