@@NUCLEARARMAMENT Yeah, it's by FAR the best non-dedicated UV tool. Same goes for retopology. I don't have much first hand with Rizom, but I've heard it's as or nearly as good.
Thank you for all your hard work bud 🙏🏽 You’re always there with all kinds of information to help us who can’t afford a proper education in 3D. Legit bro, blessings.
3:35 "Haha benis :DDDDD" time) P.S. UV Layot and Blender with UV Packmaster addon is my choice. I use UV Layour only to Relax and make some Quad UV layers for some meshes the rest I make in Blender. Blender also has Bridge addon for it to avoid messing with export\import meshes.
I loved Headus UV Layout before 2017, but I needed FBX support and retained material IDs, with the ability to import higher poly meshes. Rizom UV is my choice for that.
@@RizomUV he probably talk about Uvlayout wich is 400$+ and as far as i understand after you buy you need to waiting usb dongle to use it, if it tru then good luck to this dev.
I just discovered this software, and I want to ask if there is a software with a free license, or if it is similar, there are also addons for blender 03:16
Odd that the list didn't include 3D Coat, we know your channel is quite aware of its capabilities. Perhaps you we tackling single-purpose software in this list this time. Good info as always tho, thanks!
RizomUV is the best hands down, it used to be UVLayout, which is still not that bad though UI-wise it's a bit of a joke. Roadkill (inside of Maya and other Autodesk programs) wasn't too bad either.
I will NOT be truly impressed with AI until it can UV map any model by request
Ministry of flat is the closest you’ll get to it, it’s pretty damn great.
I’m eating chicken nuggets while watching this
I envy you :(
Hell yeah
You ain't gonna share?

Where the animation at 0:13 came from? Can I do it with one of these software?
Rizom UV is the best hands down.
I wish modo and 3D coat were in this list, as they’re both incredible at UVs.
Modo magic.
I do like Modo! Never figured it was a star at UVs till now.

Uh, no thanks. Not gonna pay $400/year for subscription based software. I guess you forgot to mention that.
149 euros for a RizomUV perpetual Indie license

does 3d coat have a legit flattening system for UVS? I use it for cutting seams and unwrapping, but for flattening I dont find it very robust
@@skrollreaper I am unaware of this. I will take a look and see. Thanks for pointing it out.
The best uv mapping solution is already included in your favorite 3d dcc software that you are using right now.
I see what you did there. *doffs cap*
I use Blender + add-ons (Zen UV and UVPackmaster)
uvpackmaster's smaller free brother is UV-packer
Idk Blender UV tools seems good enough for me. I don't think the other programs are necessary.

too bad, 35 EUR per month is a ridiculous price for individual artists...
@@XiDingArt it has perpetual for indie artists, just not mentioned in this video.
