- Welcome back to another ship & shop video! Today I am thrifting in my own closet at home to find things to flip on Poshmark and eBay! I also ran a HUGE sale in my Poshmark closet! Today was so exciting! I ran a huge sale in my Poshmark closet! I'll share all of the details with you and let you know how things went throughout the day! I also went "thrifting" in my own closet to find items to sell on Poshmark!! You don't have to leave your house to find things to flip online! I hope you enjoy it!

Clifford and Wills was owned by J Crew. I worked at a call center and we had CW one one side and J Crew on the other and we took calls for both. This was in the early 90s and CW was very girly and J Crew was very unisex looking then. I loved that job and the 40% off for employees. I think they went out of business years ago.
Congrats on making $5k in sales! July was also a record sales month for me too, though I am still new to reselling. Love to see you go through your own closet, definitely a great way to get more items to list that so that you can go out and buy more higher ASP items. Always love seeing Lumpy, he is so cute!!
do you sell live on Posh? What Not? if yes, how many shows a week you do and do you think is it worth it to have a show? or do you like better just to sell normal way? thank you
I haven't done Posh lives yet. I used to do Whatnot shows weekly and I loved them! I'm going to start back up doing at least one show/month in the fall! I miss them!

do you save the cheaper items for whatnot? could you go into more detail for how you approach those kinds of items and whatnot sales in the future?
Sometimes, yes. I typically like to do style-based items on Whatnot that might otherwise be overlooked on platforms like Poshmark or eBay. However I haven't done a Whatnot show in months! I need to get back in the game over there and see how things have changed.

I think it was a divorce situation...the woman just wanted to get rid of them. I was skeptical b/c of the pricing so I put them in a bundle and asked a few questions.

Was slow for my husband and I, hard to stay motivated when sales are slow. Here’s to hoping for a plus side in August!

First, congratulations on having a great month!!!🎉 Second, you CAN wear tie dye!! I'm 68 and still wear it. Also, congratulations on being able to purge your closet; it's not easy for some of us. Oh Kimberly, this has happened to me so many times! I'm sorry! What I do is I reach out to my buyer and ask if they would like to substitute another item in my closet. Typically I try to give them a better deal on whatever the replacement item might be for my error and for the inconvenience. Often times people are happy to get something at a deeper discount but sometimes I do lose the sale. You can offer to relist the items and try to bundle without the lost piece but it gets complicated. If anyone in the comments knows of an easier way please let us know. Good luck!
