- I literally THRIFTED TODAY FOR 7 HOURS, bought 68 pieces of clothing, and spent $95 on it all. It was officially a win at the Goodwill Outlet aka the bins, and I only spent $1.40 on each piece I thrifted! I was able to find brands like Aritzia, Vionic, Free People, Calvin Klein, Lulu's, Eileen Fisher, Levi Strauss, Barefoot Dreams, P448, and so much more!

Ours is so different all the clothes and wares are already in the bins. They rotate just about every hour so we have it made. Just dig away. It's fun to me and it's all about the thrill of the hunt!!!
Dang!! In the vintage clothing boutique I work for in Oregon that vintage Pendleton blazer would have easily sold for over $100!!!! We’re the home of Pendleton and people come from all over to buy Pendleton here. We carry as much as we can find in our little boutique. ♥️♥️♥️ I own quite a bit myself and have direct sold pieces for quite anywhere from $50 to $150, depending on what the item is and what kind of shape it is in. Congrats on the amazing haul!!!

I'm a new subscriber. I tried going to the bins. They had too much going on. I am going home to Florida in the next 2 months, so I'm going to try again. I'm not a reseller. Everything I buy is for myself. Thanks for teaching me about vintage and good quality.
Here's what I know about books. If you really want to make money selling books, you need to sell college textbooks. I knew someone who frequented yard sales in the summer and they found many. Other countries do not change their books every darn year, so the ones that are expired sell well around the world.
I still can't believe that JNCO jeans are in high demand now. That's what the guys wore when I was in high school in the late 90's and I thought they looked ridiculous then 😆

ty so much for the great videos!!! I used to sell books on amazon and Ebay. Basically u need a barcode scanner and look mostly for textbooks and non fiction . ive had my best luck at swap meets and estate sales. sometimes goodwill stores have some also

I am always in awe at the pieces you find. I’ve been a regular thrifter all my life and before the pandemic could find occasional nice brands but since then, nothing. So I get pretty envious when I see all the nice stuff you find,
I don’t know what happened with the Goodwills here but they are crazy expensive for even terrible brands and even the bins have gone up to $3.99 a pound.
It’s rather depressing really. 🤣

It's very tiring. Spent there 4 hours and was done, but got pretty good pile. But What I was gong to say, is Goodwill's retail prices are OUTRAGEOUS. Forget about 5.99, now it is 7.99 . 9.99 and up! Greedy dogs. If they would price things for people to buy and not for their greed, nothing would go to the landfill. Otherwise, yep, all those bins that are rolled back, all go to be dumped. It's shame shame shame. And now Goodwill is asking to effing ROUND UP to even no change amount. No, never .

My oldest son was 6’2”, all thru HS (he’s now 6’4” & an MD in LA), and he wore SOOOO many of those JNCO jeans!! 😂 I bought them all the time! Should’ve kept them I guess…
The bins in California where I live don’t have rules. They pull out a cart and the same ten guys hoard it all. The goodwill outlets all need to get on the same page and have rules.

When you check out , do you measure whole things with shopping cart? Or you put in your own lightweight bag first ? Is there any difference?
At my location they have all of the carts weighed with different colored tags on them for their different weights. So I just roll it up there on the huge scale. Occasionally I’ll put things on there without the cart, but I haven’t seen a difference in price!

Just a suggestion - don't make "your" pile where other people are shopping. Don't assume they know, and don't put them on the defensive for looking at "your" pile, when it's actually not yours. Want to claim it? Put it IN your cart. The world we live in these days - you're not going to get such a friendly response every time, no matter how kindly, yet directly you stated it. Also, it's just kind of rude to have a pile in other people's way. Put it in your cart and sort from there. I've been going to one for over 10 years. Have you ever accidentally dug through someone's pile? It's embarrassing for them. Don't put people in that position in the first place. Don't assume everyone is going to have a positive reaction like this person did.

We have no “bins” in my state. Goodwill doesn’t operate that way in GA. Your finds are great. What day of the week did you go? How often do you go? I mainly watched this video because of my twin theory. Confirmed, btw. I kept watching because it was so interesting. Trail running is a thing (for people who like pain).

At our bins you need to be well versed in self defense! It gets crazy. I don’t go very often because it’s such a free for all. I’ve had people try and grab things out of my hands. It’s crazy

@yardsalesteals3003 not exactly true. Most things go through the actual stores, good will sometimes has to much stock and when they get over stock especially and mostly that ends up being the bags of clothing
