someone who said you can’t get something pristine at a thrift store hasn’t been much of a thrifter. Today I got a beautiful pristine with tags on denim little girls, cat and Jack butterfly purse. I only saw one come up on Google Photos. I just tried to Google it using all those words and got nothing. It’s still has the packing stuff that they put inside purse. I got it for four dollars. I also got a brand new with sticker on the bottom torrid suede ankle boots size 9 today. Pristine. These boots never hit the floor. I got them for seven dollars.
That wedding dress is gorgeous.

I live in Texas and we wear shorts for about 10 months a year. I pick up and list shorts all year long for that reason.😊
I picked up a couple D&D books at an estate sale for $5 each and they sold immediately for 65-85, I was very excited!
So loving the downsizing focus. Really need that too! Love that D & D find. I think it’s so much fun to do research on a new niche

I feel so grateful he is still one of my favorite designers, I'll probably end up keeping it, cause to be honest I can't imagine me being in the position where I could buy anything McQueen retail. It'll be my early bday gift to myself which is awesome cause I'm celebrating a big one this year!
I know the belt that had a extra hole in it that somebody had put in it because they needed it tighter was beautiful, but keep in mind that the belt still had a hole in it don’t regress but progress. Just saying.

Great video! I found an ashwood bag a few months ago but it smelled so bad, almost like it was in storage for a long time. The bag you found is a perfect color for the upcoming season! Great video! Keep the purge up!

Hi Lori, you should partner with a remediation contractor like Servpro to address the water damage to the carpet and closet. Mold might become an issue. Good luck.

Here in Portland Oregon all the Goodwill Stores give in store credit on returns. Not The Bins though.

Maybe if savers lowered prices a bit they could move out more inventory , I understand companies are feeling the effects of Inflation but so are consumers . It just doesn't make any sense to me these thrift stores have soooooooooo much inventory but want to stick to their guns on their high prices
My savers is so overstocked! I agree they should lower the prices and get rid of all their summer dresses! Lol
I am with you 100% on this one! Especially since it's all DONATED! Blows my mind. I feel like I can't complain b/c I'm flipping stuff for profit, but it sometimes I can't move the clothes the racks are so full of $7 walmart tees...lol Oh well, we make the best of it!

Hey Lori, great haul 👍 The D&D stuff seems super cool! Idk anything about that but I wanted to offer a suggestion, I've found when trying to determine what all comes in a game or something boxed like those it can really help to watch unboxing videos on UA-cam. It's just an easy way to physically see each and every single thing that originally came in the box ;-) I hope that helps. Congrats again ❤

I understand the challenge of not trying to buy for yourself while sourcing. I also understand the desire to buy quality over quantity; unfortunately I don’t have access to great brands. I’ve only been doing this for a few months and I think I’ve accumulated more than I want to. Quick question: how long did it take before you started consistently earning?

I love silk I love it against my skin so much better then any man made materials and I also can not move any of my silk items ... I wish I could still fit into them because again I love silk but man menopause has been hard on my waistline ... stress is such a killer it releases cortosil which makes it imposible to lose weight

I love white house black market aesthitic at least the few pieces I own but man they do not sell either ... hoping I lose wight so I can wear them again . I have this one long skirt that is heave with layers of black lace it is absolutely gorgeous and feels great to wear I would have tried to sell it but the waist band faux leather is all tatered not even sure when taht happened because I think I wore it maybe 10 times when I worked as an Optomentrist assistant ... I wore an over sized off white sweater with it so it covered the waist band ,,, maybe I'll lose weight and can wear it again before I kick off this mortal coil

I always have good luck in the clothing section of that Savers, whereas in Worcester I do better in the hard goods, lol
I pay up for some things like I will go and buy a NWT items that I know people are searching for taht brand just to have it in my closet and I price high because I just want it it my closet to bring people to my closet to shop I do not necessarily wat to sell it because 1 I paid too much for it and 2 I just want it as a leader to bring people to my closet hoping when they search and find m y closet they might peek around to see if something else they like
I haave purchased prostine items at thrifts and I have doanted pristine items to thrifts because I had NWT items that I never wore
I’m curious how you ran your sale on Poshmark. I know you said you had about 1000 active listings. My experience has been with close to that number that it takes me forever to go to each and every listing to advertise a sale.

you know if savers priced everything for a dollar I bet they would not be backed up with donations , things would fly out the door and poor people would be back in the thrift shopping as wlel . ... and you know they would probably still make the same amount of profit because theyw oudl be selling volume
I always think this at Goodwill too! They receive such high volume, I wish they would price it to move. Resellers need to get higher prices since they deal with far less volume by comparison.
@@sarahs5575 and resellers PAY and they have no way of knowing whether it will sell or not ... a lot like gambling. Plus there are shipping supplies, packing materials and fees and taxes and still no guarantee anything will sell .
