94 Dodge Ram 5.2 intake manifold swap

This truck had the wrong manifold on it and was having all sorts of problems, so I changed the manifold with an original one. I didn’t record removal because things went sideways.

My friend you have NO clue what you are talking about. Putting a EGR on a non-EGR makes no sense. Why would you replace the manifod anyway. It plenum plate is likely leaking oil but just put a plate gasket on it. Is your engine calibrated for EGR? I assure you it is not. You are wasting your time.

Thank you for your comment, I can tell you didn’t watch the video or I didn’t explain why I did what I did, the truck was a 94, it came with an EGR system from the factory, the engine was a 91 D150 engine with an early 2000’s intake from a Dodge Durango, the truck ran like garbage, I put it back to factory because it was designed for it. Truck ran great after I put the intake back on it and I actually show the differences in the two intakes. So it appears my 30 years experience wins here..no time wasted.

Im doing my plate also but I'm putting the aluminum plate kit and broke both front bolts .I got lucky had enough up to jam a number 6 socket on them clean around them good heated around them and wala back right out.Sucks you had all the drilling anyway good luck
