Still the best Superhero opening EVER!!! The MARVEL logo and title reveal gets my heart going every time. This and 89's Batman are still the definitive example of how a Superhero movie should begin: bursting with energy and anticipation!
It didn't just have Tobey Maguire. It also had James Franco, Kirsten Dunst, and most importantly, Willem Dafoe. Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin is probably my favorite Marvel villain ever on screen.
I was born in 2000, this film came out a year later. I saw this movie when I was five, and let me tell you, THIS was the movie that got me into film, that made me feel important. Whenever I would feel down, I would pop in this movie to let my worries go away. This one, Spiderman 2, and even 3 WERE my childhood. I've never liked TASM movies at all because they never came close to the perfect blend of dark and light tones the original films have. I always wanted Spiderman 4, but I know I won't get it. Here's to hoping that Marvel continues their success with Homecoming, because I love Tom Holland as Spiderman just as much as Tobey Maguire. Thank you Sam Raimi for shaping my childhood, and changing my life.

The Sam Raimi films are the reason why we see so many superhero films today. Sure we had Batman 1989, but the rest weren't that good. Remember this film, this trilogy kickstarted the superhero genre for cinema.

For me personally this is my favourite Marvel movie of all time. It has everything you would want a great hero, villain and a relationship you want to see work out by the end. If ever I need to be cheered up this film is usually what I turned to, just a simple story of a hero fighting for good. I also feel that unlike the MCU they were not afraid to have emotional moments without jokes constantly.

I'm very devastated to hear that our beloved legendary hero Stan Lee has passed away this morning at 95, it hurts so much that he was one of the co-creators & publisher for the comics of Spider-Man, Hulk, Doctor Strange, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther, & even the X-Men which these are well known for decades, also we all grew up watching his cameo appearances of Marvel films including the MCU, but not only that but he gave us life, joy, & happiness, thanks Stan for giving us these spectacular heroes who defined what it means to be a hero also spreading your wonderful creativity into the world & rest in peace, we'll always remember you through our hearts plus you meant the whole universe alot to us, Excelsior! (1922-2018)
😭😭😭😭😭😭
Your so cool I'm sorry being rued to you I like your comments 😊
What is more painful and sad is how his legacy is going down the toilet by the usual suspects.
Excelsior!
At least he lived long.
Happy 20 Year Anniversary, thank you Sam and Tobey for making my childhood special when at times it got dark

Still the best Superhero opening EVER!!! The MARVEL logo and title reveal gets my heart going every time.
This and 89's Batman are still the definitive example of how a Superhero movie should begin: bursting with energy and anticipation!
True that!
Well thats because they are both scored by the Amazing Danny Elfman
More than 15 years have passed and this song still gives me goosebumps...

@@lucas_98_ I cry everytime 😂
The intro alone is better than the whole TASM movie!
and don't forget TASM 2 because that one was worse than the first one.
I love the new spider man

Videos4N11 TAMS = The Amazing Man-Spider.
This is so true I wish to cry tears of mercury.
It didn't just have Tobey Maguire. It also had James Franco, Kirsten Dunst, and most importantly, Willem Dafoe. Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin is probably my favorite Marvel villain ever on screen.
And he’s apparently going to be the main villain in spiderman no way home

This was the movie that made me love spider man and it will always hold a very special place in my heart
zBruda I was born in 2000 also and yeah I probably saw the movie when I was 4 or 5 and when I was small I loved this movie so much I would put this movie so many times this movie made me like Spider-Man my favorite hero and started watching all the other marvel superhero movies can't wait for Spider-Man homecoming
Spider-Man came out in 2002.
this movie came out in 2002 u just 2years old man
this movie came out 2 days before I was born
Thanks Danny Elfman ♥
This man made Spider man movies much better, respect him
The whole intro is awesome, but specifically, from 0:00 to 0:55, from the moment the music begins to the title reveal, still gives me chills and childhood memories :)
That minute is easily the most epic main titles scene ever.
so true !!!
Holy shit the nostalgia! I love this film! By far the best spiderman movie, it will always hold a special place in my heart. When I was a kid I always used to cry so much when Ben dies

i watched all in theaters .. so special

I liked 2 more, maybe because it was like my second movie ever
I can't believe it's not mold I like 2 more as well but they are both great.
I hope this plays in Spider-Man 3 for the MCU
That would be nice
I hope it’s like a mixture of tobey Andrew and toms theme
IT WILL PLAY WHEN THEY FIX OUR DAMN DOORS
@TheCoolGamerz I mean.. it's Tom's movie. So they would likely play his theme. Hell, we don't even know if this movie would be a multiverse movie.. it could just be a continuation like any other MCU film. I hope I'm wrong tho, so many surprises to come.
@@g2nelson15 Exatly, it's still a Tom Holland's Spiderman movie... Not Spiderman 4, doesn't make sense to have the Tobey's theme

THIS MOVIES REALLY HAVE SOUL!
It shows when Marvel made movies not just for the money.
The music is 10/10.
00:00 - 0:24 : "humble" beginning
0:24 - 0:39 : Makes and uses the instruments to sounds like a spider moves in a web: first slower than faster.
0:39 - 0:55 : Make the "spider moving" more "agressive",what is amazing for a title showing part.
0:55 - 1:21 : A little introduction for the Spidey theme
1:21 - 1:33 : Add a little mysteries part for the music(mixing it with the main villian's theme)
1:33 - 1:43 : Let's start to show the meaning of HERO with music and add hype with showing little Spiderman body parts, and showing with these scenes that our wall crawler is coming!
1:43 - 2:33: Let's enter the HYPE TRAIN Together-->this part is the most louder part, but shows the honor of our hero, and really shows who Spider-Man is.
2:33 - 3:23: The theme of Peter's and Uncle Ben's Connection: With Great power,Comes great responsibility: THAT is what the new Spider movies forget.
thank you for enlighten us.
Holly crap man, you put the concept in perfect pieces

Dude Danny Elfman is the man. The score with Sam Raimis directing is amazing. Dark man was good too.
Danny Elfman also played music for Tim Burton's batman films.

The Sam Raimi films are the reason why we see so many superhero films today. Sure we had Batman 1989, but the rest weren't that good. Remember this film, this trilogy kickstarted the superhero genre for cinema.

Imagine if we're watching No Way Home, and then Doctor Strange opens a portal and tells Peter, "You're not alone in this universe", and then this starts playing. I would lose my shit.
