Hi, guys! I did this project for a very long time and I put my whole soul into it. As you know, I love this group very much and make a lot of videos about them. But this video is not easy. Måneskin is an Italian rock band formed in Rome in 2016. The group's line-up comprises Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi and Ethan Torchio. Performing on the streets in the early days, the band rose to prominence after finishing second in the eleventh season of the Italian talent show X Factor in 2017, and international prominence when they won the Sanremo Music Festival 2021 and the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 - as the Italian representatives in the latter - with the song "Zitti e buoni".
Having released two studio albums Il ballo della vita (2018) and Teatro d'ira: Vol. I (2021), one extended-play, and eight singles, they have topped the Italian and European music charts on various occasions, and collected 23 platinum and six gold certifications from FIMI, selling over one million records in Italy before their post-Eurovision breakthrough. In 2021, Måneskin became the first Italian band to reach top 10 on the UK Singles Chart, and their single "Zitti e buoni" and song "I Wanna Be Your Slave" also reached top 10 on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S. chart.

I am old enough to remember being hypnotized by Jim Morrison. The first time I heard Maneskin, I had the same reaction. And when I laid eyes on Damiano? Whoa! I did a deep dive into Maneskin's work and read the poetry of Damiano --in both Italian and English. This band is the real deal---talented, passionate, stylish and genuine. Forza, Maneskin! Vieni in America; abbiamo bisogno di voi!!

Not only Damiano is amazing performer, but every single member of this band is a true talent (and I love how Damiano doesn't keep all fame for himself but with every single performance/video you can really see him paying tribute to his friends). ”En Oslipad diamant” is a saying/slang in Swedish that directly translates to “a rough diamond” which means that you have the talent and potential to become something big but you need some work. This basically describes måneskin on their first audition, they had all the talent and passion but they needed some work. Look at them now, they are shining like the most beautiful diamonds ever thanks to their hard work

I love that they're as tight as a fist and always stay together everywhere they go but if one day they fall apart the band will be destroyed. Without their dynamics there is no band no matter how talented or accomplished they are
This is a very good documentary. It really shows the roots of the band without useless comments. Beyond music there's something higher they let us peep. It's called friendship, some call it love. True friendship is so rare. Even if not aware that's what attracts us most towards them. We would like to be one of them. We would like to experience such a cloudless friendship.
My exact thoughts. When I see the way they all love each other I can’t help but feel so happy for them, while also wanting the same thing for myself.

I totally agree! Self-made music success stories like theirs are almost unheard of these days! It's what makes them so unique and I believe that's what makes watching them play so incredible -you can almost see and feel the joy and pride they take in all the hard work and the subsequent results.

These kids (to me, at leat) really grew up together, learned their craft together, evolved as a band together and became this phenomenon known as Maneskin together. I have so much respect for all the hard work they've put in and I wish them to rule the world for many years to come. Keep making kick ass music guys! Lots of older people can learn from them what means to be an artist. They deserved everything good that comes in their way, and I'll happily follow them on their journey to immortality.

At the start Manuel pretended to don't be sure about them, because he knew that Damiano had a huge potential but he was like a bomb: he was too young and without some guide could burn fast. 🥰 That's why Manuel is a great mentor.
