ReduxEditor335 Zorro would have some trouble if he fought a Form V Specialist, specifically a Djem So Specialist. That would be the classic "Finesse vs Brute Force" match up.
Braidon Bowman Not young (second) Zorro. He's more like the Anakin type of this story, though less evil -though with the Influence of the dark side who knows.- The First Zorro on the other hand, Delavega, would definitely be on the Jedi Council.
Braidon Bowman Well not at this point. In the first movie he's still very cocky and impulsive. However in the second movie he's shown to have very much matured and make better decisions. So I'd say by the second movie he'd make a good Jedi master.
Batesmotel1960 "Immortal Jedi II" is still live -- technically. It's listed on my Copyright Notices page as "Video Blocked in Some Countries," and exactly *which* countries are blocked seems to change (for instance, at the moment, it's blocked here in the U.S., but this is not always the case). I would delete & re-upload it, but I'm concerned it would get blocked *entirely* the second time and/or would threaten the standing of my UA-cam channel. Thanks for the enthusiasm, though! :-)
As it approached the scene where the guards fire at him, I was really, really hoping that they'd been edited to blaster-fire. Wasn't disappointed. Very well done.
I love how Zorro actually uses a very effective mix of both Makashi and Ataru, which are almost completely opposite in terms of techniques. (Makashi is very linear and conservative whereas Ataru is sporadic and kinetic)
The Sword fighing choreographer for this film was Bob Anderson, the same person who choreographed the lightsaber duels in the original Star Wars trilogy. I think he also played Darth Vader during the duels because David Prowse couldn’t keep up in Empire & Jedi.
This is amazingly detailed - lightsaber reflections, lens flares, erasing the actual blade, and the parts where the lightsaber goes behind objects. Amazing.
Well Captain Love is a Union soldier or a Federal Soldier so the green lightsaber would suggest he is in line with the good side, the U.S., when we know Captain Love is actually evil.
Unless he is like grevious when he first used lightsabers, as well as a general. Just thinking of how his lightsaber could be green because grevious had fallen jedi lightsabers stolen from the jedi. I think its a strong theory.
So many excellent details in this video; the lightsabers in the mirror, the blaster sounds of the soldier's guns, and even removing the blade of Zorro's sabre when he retrieves it.
Probably the best lightsaber editing I have seen being done on another movie.Reflections in mirrors, lens flares, sound effects and he even photoshopped the blade out of the sword.
Would anyone like to comment about how awesome the part at 27 seconds is Captain Love is doing exactly what Luke did to Vader with the same colour lightsaber just striking repeatedly, I'm not sure that you intended to do that but you've mirrored that scene perfectly which is amazing.
This is definitely one of the best lightsaber edits I've ever seen. The attention to detail is phenomenal. I'ts also cool you gave love a green lightsaber, it defiantly makes it more interesting than everyone but zorro having red.
This is honestly better than some Star Wars fights. Especially the scene with Rey practicing against the rock on Luke's island or the throne room fight scene from episode 8.
ReduxEditor335 not necessarily. The swords in Star Wars have a cortosis weave so it isn't made completely of cortosis, more like they add enough of it to be on the same level as lightsabers.
I took a different section of the ground, matching the brick pattern as well as I could, and laid it over the sword's blade. It was fairly easy, except for the moments (frames) where Zorro's arm passes over that area.
I hope to maybe one day get back to them! These days, I'm mainly work on my daughter's videos over on our sister channel (ua-cam.com/channels/kMq5615btL2s3GEY3Dydhg.html).
You can easily see how the real-life dueling styles were co-opted into the Star Wars lightsaber forms from this. Obviously they're all working off of a Makashi base, each of the three main duelists supplements his own variant. Zorro adds the environmentalism and playfulness of Niman, the balanced form that gives greatest Force utility to saber combat. Love is disciplined and focused, clearly practicing the near impenetrable defenses of Soresu (which Zorro could only break by sheer skill and by toying with him). And last is Monterro, who uses anger and desperation to overpower Zorro with the pure strength of Shien.
Funny fact. Bob Andersson, the man behind the choreography here also appeared as a stunt double for darrh Vader's lightsaber battles i The empire strikes back and return of the Jedi.
Most of my video-making time is spent on projects for my daughter over on our sister channel, Arianna Projects (@ariannaprojects6423). But I never say never. :-)
This's really good overall; I really do enjoy it,,, and regarding the old Zorro television series from the early 90's, that was a favorite of mine, from the Family Channel.
This is pure gold! Have you thought of doing any more vids? The last 3 musketeers movie would be awesome! Or the duel with Elena from this movie. Please consider!
Thanks! Yes, I have thought about doing more (this was actually my third, following "Immortal Jedi" and "Immortal Jedi II"); it is simply a question of time & opportunity. I have considered the 2011 "Three Musketeers" as well as the final fight from "Rob Roy." Keep an eye on my channel -- I'll get to it eventually! :-)
1:47 He took time to photoshop the sword blade out...Praise the lord.
Plus he didn't forget to add the lightsaber in the mirror in the beginning of the video. I would've overlooked that.
I noticed that too hey!!
0:48 That one too!
@@PSColdFire I think you're the first person to catch (or, at least, to comment) on the first sword blade I removed. :-)
Check out the mirror at the beginning. Talk about dedication as well
0:37 You even did the reflections in the mirror, great attention to detail!
Perfect
Yeah that gave me goosebumps.
This is the best display of form II Dooku would be proud
funny that Dooku is rather disapproving of Form IV, yet Zorro actually uses a very effective mix of both Makashi and Ataru.
ReduxEditor335 And Also He has some Skill with Shi Cho And Jar Kai
charles ratcliff except for the fact that he has hate and anger in him but he doesn’t use it
He's basically using Shaak Ti's style: a hybrid blend of Ataru and Makashi with hers including elements of Seresu blast deflection.
I think Zorro uses Makashi, Ataru, and Niman.
Proof that light sabers make everything better.
This is already a perfect scene. Even without lightsabers.
Funny thing is, the Generation Z Zorro (from the show of the same name) used a double ended lightsaber similar to Darth Maul's.
@@witchkingofangmar6182 perfection doesnt have a limit
“It’s not just one Jedi, damn it! It’s ZORRO!”
ikr? How many Jedi do you encounter nowadays that actually master a form like Makashi?
PrinceTrexus dooku
"He's a bandido!"
"Señor Montero, bandidos are our specialidad"
If zoro was a jedi he'd definitely be on the jedi council
he probably would one of the few Jedis to practice Makashi
he seems quite capable of Ataru too
ReduxEditor335 Zorro would have some trouble if he fought a Form V Specialist, specifically a Djem So Specialist. That would be the classic "Finesse vs Brute Force" match up.

He'd be more of a rogue jedi. Not jedi nor sith serving the people
Zorro with a lightsaber, now THAT is just unfair.
I think his lightsaber should have been black, like the cw darksaber.
Great attention to detail with the mirrors!
Thanks!
actorwriterdca And I've only just noticed the blaster noises from the rifles. Magnifique!
actorwriterdca Make a tutorial man, this is amazing! This is sooooooooooo AWESOME!
actorwriterdca You need to bring back immotal jedi II again it looks like they took off over copyright isues, I loved it very much.

Wasn't disappointed. Very well done.
How clever of Zorro to instinctively seek out the high ground!
He learned well from El Capitan Kenobi.
I really like the whole fencing style of sword fighting, realistic and still cool looking. Zorro probably could have given Obi-Wan a good fight. lol
Technically speaking Form 2, Makashi, which Count Dooku used was designed after this kind of sword style.
The fighting in this movie is actually rather unrealistic, but unsurprising as much of Hollywood's attention to realism is lacking.
I love how Zorro actually uses a very effective mix of both Makashi and Ataru, which are almost completely opposite in terms of techniques. (Makashi is very linear and conservative whereas Ataru is sporadic and kinetic)
Obi-Wan would have had the high ground anyway
The Sword fighing choreographer for this film was Bob Anderson, the same person who choreographed the lightsaber duels in the original Star Wars trilogy. I think he also played Darth Vader during the duels because David Prowse couldn’t keep up in Empire & Jedi.

Thank you!
LOVE the attention to detail! Right down to the blaster sound effects for the guns. This video is goddamn perfection.
teheyepatch Thank you so much. :-)
As a zorro fanboy, I approve
I like that Love has a green saber, I suppose to emphasize that he’s hiding his true self under the guise of a “noble knight”.
Well Captain Love is a Union soldier or a Federal Soldier so the green lightsaber would suggest he is in line with the good side, the U.S., when we know Captain Love is actually evil.
No no, Captain Love is terribly Evil and Crazy, the correct colour for his saber should be red.
Unless he is like grevious when he first used lightsabers, as well as a general. Just thinking of how his lightsaber could be green because grevious had fallen jedi lightsabers stolen from the jedi. I think its a strong theory.
Makashi Form 2 they must have been taught by Dooku himself.
I see a bit of Form IV Ataru in Zorro's fighting style too.
Also here at 0:50 A Perfect Mix of Form I ShiCho And Jar Kai
And you can see more of ShiCho at 1:15
0:27 And from the way Love's just hammering at Zorro with aggressivness and anger that must be form 7 Juyo
Dooku doesn't even come close to that.
So many excellent details in this video; the lightsabers in the mirror, the blaster sounds of the soldier's guns, and even removing the blade of Zorro's sabre when he retrieves it.
Somehow......a lightsaber makes any sword fight better!
I know right more sound
This is pure brilliance. The attention to detail with the blaster effect, lightsaber sounds, visuals, it's perfect. Zorro and Star Wars are classics.
Thanks!
This is a real lightsaber fight
Probably the best lightsaber editing I have seen being done on another movie.Reflections in mirrors, lens flares, sound effects and he even photoshopped the blade out of the sword.
Thank you very much. :-)
Zorro showing his great mastery of Makashi, Ataru and Jar'kai.
Also has some skill in Shi-Cho as hes abel to take on mutiple guards at once
I always wondered why they didn't use more of this style sword fighting in the star wars movies. It just seems more exciting to watch.
1:22
Zorro has the high ground
James Horner really was just as great of a composer as John Williams, so his music certainly fits in a lightsaber fight scene as well.
This is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. Just saying!!!
River Harrison Thank you very much! :-)
Would anyone like to comment about how awesome the part at 27 seconds is Captain Love is doing exactly what Luke did to Vader with the same colour lightsaber just striking repeatedly, I'm not sure that you intended to do that but you've mirrored that scene perfectly which is amazing.
I was thinking of that scene too
1:51 Bet he's regretting having bought that cortosis candelabra.
As a certain Sith Lord would say: Impressive, most impressive!
👏👏👏💯💯💯💯. As a fencer/Star Wars myself, this is the best of both worlds
This is the best Star Wars Lightsaber Mashup video I've ever seen.
I love how this implies Captain Love is a Jedi betraying the Jedi Order
This is so well made I forget it wasn’t Star Wars while watching it
Truly an incredible display of abilities
I've watched several of these today. I could watch lightsaber remakes of old movies all day. Elegant choreography...Dooku would be pleased.
Probably one of the best lightsaber edits I've ever come across.
Thank you. :-)
Wow, I wasn't expecting this to be so damn good. Absolutely brilliant. Bravo!
1:23 it's over, I have the high ground
wyatt roetcisoender and 0:31
The Lord of the Sith reference from Obi wan and Darth Varder
I think this is great. The only thing I don't like is that Captain Love has a green lightsaber. He's a bad guy so should be red.
Honestly, I don't disagree with you. I just needed to break up all that red. :-)
I think he would have a Black Lightsaber. Love is entirely devoted to his own goals and doesn't care about the consequences.
This is definitely one of the best lightsaber edits I've ever seen. The attention to detail is phenomenal. I'ts also cool you gave love a green lightsaber, it defiantly makes it more interesting than everyone but zorro having red.

Nice attention to detail with the reflections in the mirror and all.
+Jas Patrick Thank you. :-)
You see everything
No lie 'Mask of The Jedi' sounds like a kick ass Star Wars movie!
Just building my own story here, Captain love would be Zorro's fallen apprentice and this whole scene was him escaping after failing to redeem him.
I don’t even know how I got here, but This is better than all of the recent Star Wars light saber duels.
Literally just watch The Mask of Zorro last night such a good movie
Es la mejor escena de espadas láser que he visto hasta la fecha
Adding lightsabers will always make it awesome. Who ever did this, is a genius.
Thanks. :-)
This is brilliantly done. Never before have I seen after effects added so flawlessly to a movie sword fight. Very impressive sir.
The force is strong with you El Zorro
This is honestly better than some Star Wars fights. Especially the scene with Rey practicing against the rock on Luke's island or the throne room fight scene from episode 8.
I will never see this movie the same again. Absolutely brilliant.
Thanks! :-)
A Speedster using a lightsaber, never thought I’d see the day
That flip! Awesome every time. And that YEET of the short corporal, always funny!
"Mask of the Jedi" sounds like an actual Star Wars movie title
May the force be with you,Zorro.
Oh god the editing is amazing
Great touch: at 0:55, the light sabres are even reflected in the mirror. Ace.
Wow! This is very well made.
Thank you. :-)
Just what is that candle holder made of o.O
+Xerrojaz Made of cortosis, apparently. :-)
actorwriterdca cortosis would short out a lightsaber though; more likely its make of phrik
ReduxEditor335 not necessarily. The swords in Star Wars have a cortosis weave so it isn't made completely of cortosis, more like they add enough of it to be on the same level as lightsabers.
Anamantium would be my guess...
0:16 The cape too! 😮
Mask of The Jedi...that just sounds like a Knights of The Old Republic spin-off with Revan starting in it.
A film marked for all past decades and those to come ....
Fantástico. Adorei. Parabéns
Very cool. If I hadn't seen the movie first, I would've thought they really DID use lightsabers
1:47 Nice touch. No blade.
Thanks. :-)
How'd you do that anyway?
I took a different section of the ground, matching the brick pattern as well as I could, and laid it over the sword's blade. It was fairly easy, except for the moments (frames) where Zorro's arm passes over that area.
Very cool. So, will you be continuing these videos?

this is soooo freaking awesome i keep watching it over and over

"It's over Captain Love, I have the high ground!"
Closest we'll get to seeing what Form 2 duels look like.
Zorro uses quite a bit of Form IV in his swordsmanship too.
Even after 12 years, this still looks great
Thanks! :-)
@@actorwriterdca You need to make more of these for the other fights in the movie

Way better than the last jedi for sure
Every film gets better when there are lightsabers xD
This video deserves more views, great job!
The best part of this whole video is that you also put lightsaber blades in the mirror. Nice touch
Thanks. :-)

Simply perfect, absolutely amazing.
Thank you. :-)
He even got the reflection in the mirror that's amazing
Me: there's no way to make this scene better.
UA-cam:
Now we just need some Star Wars music in the background
Why does this make me so damn happy? Grinned like an idiot through the entire video.
Luke Skywalker vs. the Knights of Ren.
that's what I wanted to see in the Last Jedi
Zorro just got a hell of a lot more interesting
I like how the sabers hum. When they are subtly moving.. and when they clash and crack
2:00 I sense great fear in you Skywalker. You have hate, you have anger but you dont use them.
I just saw this film last week. Pretty good, to say the least.
Captain Love or Don Rafael is Darth Vader of the Dark Side
Zorro would make a fantastic jedi master 🙂
0:55 He even did the reflections in the mirror, awesome touch.
Very nice touch with the mirror mate, my hat’s off to you good sir👏
Thanks!
Jedi Master Zorro does have a nice ring to it.
This is great! Also had a small lol when the gaurd fired their guns and made the blaster sound. XD
Any sword weapon is awesome as a lightsaber 👍🏻
Very impressive. Well done.
If I were to describe which lightsaber form Zoro uses, I’d say it’s without a doubt Form II Makashi, mixed with Form IV Ataru.
This is def one of the better ones. Very well done.
