Hey, you're making an effort for the fans of Greyhawk and that's something to definitely be proud of.
I certainly appreciate the effort. Odd thing about Greyhawk is that I've never felt the need to run a campaign outside of the Flannesse. It always has pretty well every middle-ages Earth culture -- from classic Europe, Switzerland, pirate islands, great fallen empires, bandit lands, humanoid enslaved areas, middle-eastern-like areas, elven lands, halfling hills, dwarven mountains, volcanic areas, Mayan-like jungle areas, etc. If you can't find a place for a campaign there, you have to be pushing. It's also physically so large, you can run travel of months and still not get off the map.
Good job GG! You are a sweet and kind person.
I keep forgetting just how _small_ the Flanaess really is! 😅
It isn't so much that the Flannaess is so small. But rather that Oerth is much larger than Earth.
Thank you so much! I was waiting for that map
I agree. Thank you for your effort and dedication to all things Greyhawk.
Awesome. Great work. Just downloaded it. I am working on a Greyhawk Shadowdark (Shadowhawk or Greydark; something like that).
That sounds awesome.
Check out Evernight, on Forgotten Realms Wiki. Obviously it's Forgotten Realms, rather than Greyhawk, but you can compare it to it's Material Plane equivallent (Neverwinter) and get some ideas on how this sort of thing might work.
Some of the Netherese (also from Forgotten Realms) retrated into the Plane of Shadow in the distant past. I wonder if some of the cities in the Suel Imperium might also have shunted themselves over to the Plane of Shadow, when the Twin Cataclyms destroyed the rest of the area and buried what was left under the Sea of Dust.
Your work on Greyhawk is always the best. Thank you for keeping Greyhawk alive and growing the content.
Thank you!
I enjoy all of Greyhawk Grognard videos 🎉😊
Very cool.
When it's finished and to your liking, have you thought about doing a PoD tapestry or poster of the map? Perhaps like the one behind you?
Oh, fantastic news! Thanks!
Thank you!
Nice!
Looks fantastic already. Great work!
Grognard I did the same thing with middle earth using all the Iron Crown supplements. It was huge.
I did the same thing, and I remember the frustration where two of them (Isengard and Arnor, maybe?) didn't match up properly.
Thanks, Joe!
Wow! That is incredible work! I love the map content and would love more in depth stuff like this in the future!
BTW, do you consider it possible to sail north of the Land of Black Ice? Does the Icy sea connect to the Dramidj and Telchurian seas? There seem to be conflicting sources on this.
Also, what font did you use for the map? You really did a great job capturing the feel of the Darlene Map!!!
Looking forward to the finished project!
Downloaded! My players are gonna love this!
Thanks for putting this online! I'm going to enjoy looking at it again and I look forward to the day you get the 2.0 version done.
I’d love to see a deep dive!
Same here.
I'm so glad you're still making cool awesome stuff
When will it be available on curtains?
Ha! I wouldn't make curtains out of it until the oceans were all done, and that ain't happening any time soon.
I can't find the scale on the map. Is it 30 mile hexes?
Correct, same as the Darlene map.
I may be a little behind the times but I was under the impression there was going to be a pre-order for the full Castle Zagyg from Troll Lord Games happening sooner than later.
Not that it's particularly relevant to this video, but that's the first I'm hearing of anything regarding "the full Castle Zagyg".
@@GreyhawkGrognard thanks I was fishing and figured you would set me straight.
