Definitly the hardest day for me yet. Wasn't feeling to do yoga, but I DID IT. I am proud of myself and I'm kind of proud to say that today wasn't my day. See you guys tomorrow, namaste
I'll never say this anywhere else on youtube but thank goodness for this comment section. I've had a bad day, didn't get enough sleep last night, not feeling right--& I'm brand new to yoga & out of shape so I'm very shaky & some things are very hard; the twist stretches just...didn't happen, I had no balance whatsoever no matter what I tried to focus on in my body. Finished feeling really badly about myself. But I tried everything & didn't stop & someday I'll return to this video & do everything comfortably, & days like this are how i'll get there.
I hear you! My advise is to just keep showing up no matter how you feel. If you have to modify a pose, so what! I ALWAYS feel better after doing it and the more you do it the better it gets. Hang in there. (I am saying this to myself as much as to you - ha ha!)
I remember once at the beginning of my yoga journey how I wasn’t able to stay in a position because it was just not possible and I didn’t do it. I felt like a failure for not doing everything “perfectly”. BUT! I then told myself : if I don’t take a break now, I won’t be doing yoga tomorrow because I think it’s too exhausting. I took my break whenever needed and today, I do every move thinking “So Adriene thinks I might have trouble with this… yeah yeah, what’s she talking about? It’s so easy!” That’s because I gave myself the time and the space so needed to find roots in this practice and from doing yoga becoming yoga myself. I hope you do come here again and have this wonderful experience where over time without realisation you just do everything without your body complaining! Lots of love ❤
Way to go😊 Its been a year, maybe you've come back and are crushing it, or starting over again, either way good for you for putting in the effort especially when feeling low. Chose this 30 day challenge now to help pull me out of a funk
Word. I too started off pretty shaky but i kept at it and it DOES get easier. More to the point, in very proud of myself for sticking with it. You got this🙌
I was thinking “wow I must be really worn out today!” Because I was shaking, losing balance, and couldn’t catch my breath! The comments made me feel better 🤪 The day I do more than 1 push up with good form will be amazing..
WE MADE IT TO DAY 9, Y'ALL This program is my first time practicing yoga, and I'm happy to share that today I noticed how much I've improved. Thank you for being so awesome, Adriene. It's an honor to practice with you.
Today was definitely the day I noticed more openness in the heart and hips, really happy! 😁 Plus I dont usually sweat, but today it really gave me a sheen on my forehead! Lol felt the warmth all over, one of my favorite practices yet 😃
@@kaykareem6922 I think, for me at least, what helped most was all the alternatives she gives for different stretches so you don't get discouraged from practicing every day 😃 usually the yoga videos I'd watch offered very little alternatives so over time I'd just notice how I'm feeling sore lol and eventually give up 😅 sure, yoga is more about the spiritual part but being a beginner you really can't focus on that too much until you learn the sequences
@@antonelatopalovic6886 i have to ask since you mentioned being a beginner, did you manage to lift your feet in crow pose on day 8 ?? I am disappointed with my crow so i'd really love to know 😅
I strongly suspect Adriene is secretly magical guys. Otherwise how the heck did I just do 3 push-ups? Me who always collapsed halfway through gym. I'm loving this so much!
I’m currently in quarantine and the 30 day yoga challenge is such a help. My anxiety about what’s to come feels so much better when I can just let it go for a moment during my daily yoga. Today got me sweating profusely! Thank you Adriene, this series is a small beacon of light for me in amidst the current madness.
I'm also doing the 30 days during quarantine! I really look forward to this little bit of structure every day, and seeing myself improve is a nice bright spot during all this! So thankful for Adriene
KK me too! Just completed day 10, I missed 2 days so it’s 12 days ago since I started! Hope to not miss any days again, feel so much better sticking to it!😄
KK - SAME! My friend and I have been doing this series together from our own houses and it's been so grounding for both of us ! Much love and appreciation Adrienne
4.5 years behind the times but each session I finish I find myself thinking, “I love you Adriene” haha. Thanks for bringing a bit of peace and movement into this working mother of two young kids life ✌🏼
Day 9 ✔️ I dedicate today's practice to Samuel L. Jackson because of the number of times I said his favorite word throughout. I also caught myself saying things to myself like "you suck" or "bro wtf" while stumbling over or just panting during the transitions...which is crazy considering I would never talk to anyone else like this who is trying their best. There's so many voices in our head that aren't ours, and a difficult practice really brings out our deepest to the surface. I have a lot more to improve on myself. Thank you again teacher and friends!!
I've tried to go through this 30 days of yoga 5 times now. I've never made it past day 7. I get discouraged super easy and bully myself into quitting most things. It may not seem like much but I'm really proud of myself for making it to day 9, and actually noticed for the first time that I was looking forward to it. It was a nice feeling, thanks Adriene💙
I feel you. I get extremely upset with myself if I can’t get where I want to be and end up quitting myself. I hope we can learn to accept and forgive ourselves, I’ve been trying for a while now
It's not a contest...whatever you do is great...We are very hard on ourselves and should forgive ourselves...30 days or 5 or 1, it's more than doing nothing...Don't give up, the results of any practice time are well worth it..
Shouting from my mountain top, I just did 100 days straight! 🎉🔥🙏🇮🇪 (True>Revolution>Yoga Camp>This) I always thought yoga was for skinny flexible people and never felt like I was able to keep up in classes, always comparing! So this at home yoga practice has been so magically freeing, and totally gets me de-stressed and back into my body when my anxious mind wants to take over. This was a gift to find during the pandemic! Thank you Adriene 🙏 (And thank you me for showing up each day! Even if I skip a few vinyasa flows or fall over in the lunges, I'm still showing up, and giggling at the falls rather than shaming myself!) #Day💯🎉
+Deni Dimitrova Oh good, it's not just me! I took a few days off and this one had me sweating like MAD, even though the movements didn't feel all that intense. Suppose that means the "detox" works, eh!
I literally found myself saying "what the f*ck" as I bent over and touched my feet with my legs straight... As someone who was never athletic I can't remember a time when I could touch past my knees. Amazing! Is this even my body?!
I’ve been athletic but I found out later in life that I was rounding my back while touching my toes and not bending at my hips. My hips are so incredibly tight but this helps me so much. I touched my palms to the ground and couldn’t believe it. Also my heels feel tight and I can touch them to the mat in downward dog!! Sorry if I’m bragging I’m just excited as well.
I recently was hospitalized due to suicidal ideation and was diagnosed with PTSD and Major Depression. After I got out, I was determined to do whatever I needed to do to live and live happily. I used to do yoga before the symptoms started badly hitting, and because I had 0 motivation or energy, I stopped and became badly out of shape. I started doing your yoga practices, and the first one was even hard for me. I realized today that I was more stable in the warrior poses than when I was intermittently doing yoga before, and I am so happy. This has really helped my recovery. Thank you (and my 2 cockatiels love watching me do yoga. It's adorable).
This was a hard one. I was sweating a lot. Love this channel. Trying to heal a lower back injury and it's feeling like it's working. Always been told that Yoga is a girls practice but i'd love to see some of my mates try it... it's a proper workout... more so than lifting weights. Looking forward to limbering up and feeling more energised.
More so than lifting weights? I agree. 100% I'm a competitive powerlifter who's done a few competitions and this is genuinely the most humbling experience I've had in a long time. This really exposed how weak I actually am 😅
So I may have fallen out of my lunge at one point but screw it! I absolutely adored this, and even felt myself building up a sweat. I can already feel myself becoming more flexible in downward facing dog and even in seated cross-legged positions with my legs growing closer to the floor! Yoga is so beautiful.
Hi Adriene! I just want to thank you for sharing yoga with us. I'm on day 9 today and your routine has helped me overcome my anxiety and depression. I have found my self smiling and in tears at the end of every session. I am proud of myself and my yoga journey. I am truly and deeply grateful for you and your videos. It is from the bottom of my heart that I say, Namasté. Continue to share your gift. ✨
Stopped halfway through and was going to give up... just not feeling it today don’t want to push myself. Came down and read the comments and I finished the video. Thank you all for pushing me!!!!
I'm trying to figure out if maybe I'm just tired but it feels like there was a huge jump in difficulty between this day and the last 8. Obviously the last was meditation but I had the hardest time keeping up today. It seems like on the day you recorded this you were bursting with energy (which isn't a bad thing!). I usually do my 30 days of yoga practice first thing in the morning so that's probably part of it. I had to keep pausing the video to look at what you were doing. Each time I figured out a pose we were already onto the next. I'm going to walk myself back through it and try to get more out of each step but I felt like I was half assing it to keep up and that's when I had to stop to start again. When I re-watched the knee to elbow and realized you leaned forward which naturally brought the knee closer and that helped a lot. I guess that's the benefit of the videos is that I can always go back. When I hear you say "on an inhale", or "on an exhale" in between I find myself holding my breath because I'm not sure where we're going in these faster sessions. I really want to stick with it and improve. Maybe the slower and deeper yoga sessions are more for me. I'm still a beginner. Always room to grow I guess!
@@mmatthes Me too! This description was me on 7th day. Can understand the dissatisfaction one can get when we are half assing through the yoga practice.
I just finished day 9, and oh boy, this was the hardest for me so far. I am really bad at balancing myself, so all those lunges killed me! Anyway, I went trough with it, hope I will get better with practice anyday. Love to everyone, who is doing this in fall 2016
It is a complete shame that each video get lesser and lesser views. First 2 or 3 had a million or 2. Now it's at a 400k? Adriene you still rock my socks though. 😉
Before I started the 30 day challenge, I was SO out of shape..any position resulted in me trembling. I love Adrienne because she’s so encouraging; instead of telling you to push through it, she tells you it’s ok to take breaks and focus on your shoulders and breath. Sometimes those little reminders are super important because I find myself getting all clenched up again. I’ve noticed lately that I’m not afraid to be on my knees anymore… one of my knees has a bad habit of popping out of place so I try to avoid those positions but yoga has helped a lot. Thank you so much Adrienne and for everyone watching and doing the challenge, keep going! You got this!
For the first time in 9 days I wanted to give up, I am tired more than usual today, but I did't let it affect my practise, I didn't give up! Totally hot and sweaty though! I love that I can work hard whilst it being nice and gentle, you would never think this would make you work so hard and make you sweat! Thank you Adrienne ❤️ Namaste
*I DID IT!* I did the three-legged-dog routine on both legs, every time you did it! Last time we did this routine I couldn't do it once because my left hip wouldn't let my left leg take the weight alone. I'm so happy with myself! Thanks to you I'm mastering things I thought I was FAR off doing in a few days. Thank you so much, Yoga With Adriene !!!
This was really what I needed. I skipped a few days due to stress of schoolwork and such, but getting back to this really cleared my mind and stretched the muscles. Also my heals are finally touching on downward facing dog. hallelujah! Thanks Adriene.
+Leela Morris Same! I told myself early January that I would do the challenge for a whole 30 days. Then I got caught up with schoolwork! 4 months later, I'm back with Adriene. My heels used to touch the ground during downward dog, but not anymore.. Haha
Gosh I feel warm! Perfect on these chilly mornings the shower feels even sweeter after this. I love how these videos remind me of an Advent Calendar. Every day is a surprise which makes it so much fun. You're like a post-Christmas yoga fairy.
I honestly melted there when you said “It truly is an honour to practise with you. Thanks for sharing your time with me” You make me feel grateful to the world and special that the world has me
Okay, this one had a fast and furious feel to it and it was very challenging - but it was my favorite day so far! After 8 previous days of practicing with Adriene I built up the confidence to just go for it and do what I could without judgment or criticism. I was blown away with what I was actually able to do. I am unbelievably grateful that you have shared this practice for free on UA-cam. Thank you!
Just a kind reminder. I've been doing yoga for four years now, and it was three years that I did it almost daily. But the progress is not and never linear. There are days when you nail the most difficult moves and you are so aligned with your breath that you seem the one. But frustrating days are still there. You face them differently, but they are gonna still happen and that's okay. Just keep going
I am so empowered, Adriane, you have changed my life! I started doing your 30 day challenges in June and just kept going. I am in my fifties and although, not our of shape, I have lost 17lbs and looking very toned. I have learnt how to relax more and love myself and others. 2020 has been a very difficult year but you have taught me not to keep anything toxic in my life or my head and be the best version of myself . I have taken everything on board and love you and love yoga! :) from the goddess in me to the goddess in you, thank you :) x
Thank you Adriene for teaching yoga online! My brother passed away 8 months ago and I have struggled ever since. Yoga has been my release! I don't want to go to a gym and take a class so it's great to be able to be in my home practicing yoga anytime! Also you make it fun, sometimes silly, and very positive! Thanks! U help others more than you probably realize! :)
I´m doing this challenge for the 2nd time now, last time I stopped around day 14 so I´m still hopeful I´ll do better this time. I just wanted to share that I went from a Vinyasa to Downward dog in one move without having to go to all fours first. I´m an overweight girl with a bad back who doesn´t do any fitness at the moment except for this and I´m so proud of myself!
Seems like i'm the only guy in the comment section. just started doing this playlist daily. It's awesome! I've been wanting to get into this for ages and i just feel happier since i started.
There definitely is a lot more strength involved in the older series than the latest one. This one was tough but glad I got through it! Thanks as always Adriene!
I've never stuck with something for more than 3 days and to be on day nine I'm very pleased with this. Thank you for your kindness and dedication to the practice.
I just did this one. So far, I've had no issue with learning yoga, but damn, Adriene, you nearly killed me. I was near tears by minute 19, and I was pretty much close to death by minute 22. I love/hate you for it.
This is my third time through this 30 day practice (mixing it up through the years) and I’m still often blown away by how wonderfully Adriene combines yoga poses to make you feel great, positive messages, honesty and laugh-out-loud humour - thanks so much, my days are more awesome with Yoga with Adriene 😃
Phew, after that relaxing day 8 this was quite a challenge. I've never sweat so much in one of yor yoga sessions before. I tried to push through but had to take a little break in childs pose after the second set of lunges. When you went into the third round I just thought "Aw HELL no", but I still did it and I'm glad I did. My poses - again - were probably far from perfect but oh well... at least I still feel like I did something good for my body :)
Was loafing on the sofa watching tv not feeling to do any yoga today. At the eleventh hour I threw down my mat and got busy! Best decision I’ve made all day!!! I feel awesome! Thanks a million Adriene! Namaste 🙏
This was the hardest one! Following upto the 9th day, I started feeling better about this. I hope I can keep up with this hobby for the rest of my life.
I have to admit, when I read all the "this is so hard, I can´t go through with it, I´m sweating so much" commments before starting the video, I didn´t want to start. But honestly, it´s all about yourself. I stopped focusing on how much I might be sweating or how much my muscles are trembling and yes, I do feel that I did something - but it´s great! I needed this for my weak lower back and this one rally helped me. Even if you can´t hold the postures as long as Adriene does - for me it was wonderful that my back was how it should be, not crumbling. So don´t give up, you can do it!
My goal is to do yoga everyday for a year. I'm a mom of 3 under 3, and flu season, lice and depression has got in my way. So far I stopped and started 2 times. This is my third chance to succeed. It's hard but I won't give up! Yoga helps me tremendously to get back to myself and find the human I want to be for God and for my family. Thank You Adrienne! God bless you! 💗🙏✨
I had to pause after 16 minutes today, I could barely breath. Didn't expect this 30 days workout to be so intense, yet I look forward to the practice every morning. I'm in self isolation - month 2 - and going strong. :D
I really really liked today's practice! I noticed today that I'm getting better at downward dog and planks, because I was struggling with those earlier, but I'm getting better and it feels great! Thanks for another wonderful practice Adriene!
After doing my first 8 hr shift in a while, I was so mentally drained after my first day, but I came home and did my yogis. Tomorrow we shall go again!
Wow! I LOVED this practice today! To go from meditative yesterday to very active and flowy today, it was PERFECT. I’m practicing in a cold garage during a chilly late fall in Idaho and this specific set actually warmed me up! Lovedddddd it.
Umm today's practice was the most intense day ever!! A week before my finals and stress is creeping up on me, definitely needed this detox practice. Also, tomorrow would mark ⅓ of the challenge completed, thank you Adrienne for being such an awesome yoga teacher :)
Took a break for a week or so, maybe even more, and came right back to this challenging day! I broke a bit of a sweat but I handled it well and kept with it. I did sprain my ankle about two months ago and it's still a little weak, but managing to pull through and adjust is another layer to the challenge! Thank you for this series Adriene!
+SimplyMayaB I took a few days off and this one actually impressed me with how much my core has improved. I remember in the first few I could barely do the three legged dog and then bring my knee to my elbows. NOW I AM NAILING IT. I also broke a sweat but possibly because it is 30c in my house righ tnow
Completed the challenge once and started it all over again! Life time transformation! Thank you Adrienne❤️! Stay present, stay positive and love yourself everyone! Namaste 🙏
I absolutely love the way you start each practice with a little silliness! Trying your 30 days with some friends and really enjoying it so far. Here's hoping today doesn't break that trend. Namaste. Annie
still hanging in here! not managing daily practice and skipped abs BUT i am practicing a lot more than i have over past year or 2 or 3. AND im not beating myself up over not getting on my mat every single day. i really enjoy your kind, fun, jovial tone and the message you bring. thank you!
This was sooo intense! I'm proud of me that I did it :) had not that much motivation thought. As a beginner I like the streching and relaxing ones more. But yeah well just do it :) And I am really enjoying this series
WOOHOO yeah baby, day 9 and I'm feeling better than fine 🤪🤪🤪 I'm feeling amazing. I keep enjoying the practice of yoga more and more as it continues. This particular practice today got a nice sweat worked up for me and it was a perfect way to start my day. I hope that everyone is having a great Sunday and enjoys the rest of their weekend!!! Thanks as always Adriene you're the best!!!
Guys I’m getting so strong! Physically and mentally. I want to give up all the time I’m in a psychiatric hospital and my day was particularly bad today, 4 or 5 panic attacks. My brain plays so many nasty tricks 😢. When I got on the mat I expected to struggle through. I managed to do all the vinyasas and press ups 😅 and didn’t need to push myself either! I tried this challenge once before gave up on day 7. Spent a few weeks just doing downward dog for as long as possible a few times a day so I no longer dread the pose. Then I started again and I just did day 9 and I haven’t missed a day ❤
I have no strength- I feel my weakness on the mat constantly. But the 30 days will still pass if I do nothing. So I might as well practice 😊 Thank you comment section! your relatable struggles are a continuous blessing
what a challenge, first one to take rests. This is being fantastic for me this days, I recently came off of medication for depression and anxiety, thank you.
Featuring Full Potential Detox Practice for you today from our June Playlist - Fit Fun & Connected! This practice hails from our 30 Days Of Yoga project that has connected us with so many new friends from all over the globe. Join the party - tend to yourself through practice.
I'm loving the yoga videos, Yoga With Adriene ! However, I just fractured my foot and will be in a walking boot for the next 4-6 weeks. Any suggestions for doing yoga without injuring/using feet? I know there's some of the lighter floor work, but any suggestions on a power/flow routine that minimizes legs would be ideal :D Keep on being awesome!
Absolutely love this! So glad I found you. My doctor told me Yoga is the best thing for me since I've been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and I'm loving your videos. Thank you for doing what you do!
Hey adrine I am from India (country of yogis.. U know that) I am fan of yours.. Ur way of doing yoga is just awesome.. Ur videos are filled with positivity.. ( n i feel that) Thanku Soo much Keep it up :-) Btw me doing.. 30 days yoga with you I feel good!
I appreciate that I can close my eyes and feel guided through the poses. I start my day with these yoga videos and I believe they set me up for a good day! 🙏
I love doing yoga with you! Even when I can't do something, I don't fell guilty about it. I have lots of fun doing 30 days of yoga and I just want to thank you :)
I am not feeling so hot today, but managed to infuse this practice with restorative poses - skipped vinyasa for child's pose, went with low-lunge instead of high-lunge, and spent time visualizing a healthier body able to do the complete practice. Feeling grateful I could give myself this! Thanks as always for your flexibility (literal and metaphorical) Adriene! :)
I'm not used to leave comments on videos or channels that I follow on UA-cam but definitely for Adriene I'll do it!! :) thank you so much for this amazing job that you do for all of us .. I have been not feeling great about my body and my health in general but as I initiated myself to Yoga I feel just amazing - thank you so much!!
Loved this! I could feel my body being tested, but at peace at the same time! I look forward to this everyday :) I never knew sweating could feel so peaceful!
Felt like a taking a break for 2 days because I didn’t want to do it half hearted. I was scared of not coming back to it and just falling off but gladly I came here for the 9th day practice. So yes, I’m happy 😊
I'm a yoga newbie and I spent the first few days of this challenge focusing more on whether I was getting the positions right and less on my breathing. Now i'm focusing on my breathing and using it to aid my practice and its been so much better. I look forward to my yoga practice every day now! I can see why 3 friends recommended Adriene - she just exudes positivity!
Adriene, I know I'm late, (June 2017 late :) but your videos are the reason I started and kept up with yoga. I began searching UA-cam for good yoga videos, and the moment I found your channel and saw the first video on this playlist, I fell in love. My posture has been amazing, my back doesn't hurt anymore. Another thing that has improved is my knee is naturally unaligned with my foot, I usually cant bend it certain ways or even do lunges. However, doing yoga with you has slowly adjusted my knee to be more even! I was able to do most of the lunges today (I only fell over once) and now I can sit in meditation pose with only a slight pain, compared to day one when my knee was screaming. Thank you so much Adriene, you've helped me heal myself in my body, my mind, and my soul. :)
Hey! I'd just like to say thank you for this series. I'm only on the 9th day and with my weight and shape its a little difficult, but there is def improvement in my foundation. Much more stable! :) Thought the lunges would be impossible, turns out breathing and dropping the 'I can't' mentality was all it took! Thank you again! Namasté :D
Thank you so much Adriene for these videos. As a college student I feel a lot of stress sometimes. I also struggle with finding a way to stay fit that I actually enjoy (running on a treadmill in the gym like a rat does not appeal to me!), and I think I've found it :) THANKS SO MUCH. YOU ARE AMAZING. I plan to continue the 30 day challenge!
I'm diggin' this practice so much! Love how fully present you are in every one of your videos, just like you're in the same room with me. You don't do this halfheartedly, you're always all there. These #30daysofyoga are a wonderful belated christmas gift! From all my heart xx
Doing this challenge with two friends during the quarantine. We videocall for this every day and then just yoga the hell out of it. I love that this exists and I love that it's a way for me to still have some structure in my life and contact with friends. Thank you for taking the time and effort to make these videos Adriene! Greetings from a Belgian living room ^^
Definitly the hardest day for me yet. Wasn't feeling to do yoga, but I DID IT. I am proud of myself and I'm kind of proud to say that today wasn't my day. See you guys tomorrow, namaste
Isabella Swijnenburg I’m a day behind you, see you on day 30
Isabella Swijnenburg literally my mood right now, but I’m still on my mat too. And i accept every practice is different. Namaste !
Proud of you to!
That's why she took it easy on us on day 8, because day 9 is a killer! See you in day 10!
This is exactly what I thought!!! Be proud!!!

You can't even imagine how I feel when final music starts 😅 hallelujah!
Me: "wow, I half-assed this practice"
Adriene: "Notice any judginess...."
Can you hear me???
I did exactly the same today. And I feel so bad😭
Adrienne is always watching 👀 yes even when you finished that packet of biscuits hehe
I was thinking “wow I must be really worn out today!” Because I was shaking, losing balance, and couldn’t catch my breath!
The comments made me feel better 🤪
The day I do more than 1 push up with good form will be amazing..

I was wiping my brow before she said it haha great minds think alike ;)
Haha same here!
Same lol
I’m currently in quarantine and the 30 day yoga challenge is such a help. My anxiety about what’s to come feels so much better when I can just let it go for a moment during my daily yoga. Today got me sweating profusely! Thank you Adriene, this series is a small beacon of light for me in amidst the current madness.
I sweat more this day than I did when we did the ab day!!
I'm also doing the 30 days during quarantine! I really look forward to this little bit of structure every day, and seeing myself improve is a nice bright spot during all this! So thankful for Adriene
KK me too! Just completed day 10, I missed 2 days so it’s 12 days ago since I started! Hope to not miss any days again, feel so much better sticking to it!😄
Same here. It's the best thing about this lockdown.
KK - SAME! My friend and I have been doing this series together from our own houses and it's been so grounding for both of us ! Much love and appreciation Adrienne
This woman is a straight up blessing.
4.5 years behind the times but each session I finish I find myself thinking, “I love you Adriene” haha. Thanks for bringing a bit of peace and movement into this working mother of two young kids life ✌🏼
I just started as well 😁never too late 😜 today was quite hard but I enjoyed it 👍
Day 9 ✔️ I dedicate today's practice to Samuel L. Thank you again teacher and friends!!
this was a hard one!! I was sweating by the half way point lol!
Yes!! all sweaty right now, LOL
lovinglaurenx omg me too and I haven't sweated yet since I started this challenge aha
YUP! but loved it so much for how much it challenged me!
Me too, but kept going! I very very light and relaxed. Thanks Adriene
Enjoying every day of challenge!!!
I hope we can learn to accept and forgive ourselves, I’ve been trying for a while now
It's not a contest...whatever you do is great...We are very hard on ourselves and should forgive ourselves...30 days or 5 or 1, it's more than doing nothing...Don't give up, the results of any practice time are well worth it..
my heels keep getting closer to the ground and my body gets sweatier with every session!!! Very excited that tomorrow is ten minutes. 😂
brilliant wher you notice little things 😊😊😊
aren't we all happy to see that 'tomorrow' is 10 minutes... and giddy when you think for the first time 'Oooooo, a long one tomorrow'!
Even if I skip a few vinyasa flows or fall over in the lunges, I'm still showing up, and giggling at the falls rather than shaming myself!) #Day💯🎉
Go girl! Congrats!
Downward facing dog& planks are a lot easier now; however, this was a workout today. I had to pause the video a few times to control my breathing.
Definitely more fast paced than previous days. 20 minutes in, I was in child's pose taking a break.
+Maggie Landry Same! I'm sweating more than ive ever sweated from a yoga workout before!
+Maggie Landry me too
+Deni Dimitrova Oh good, it's not just me! I took a few days off and this one had me sweating like MAD, even though the movements didn't feel all that intense. Suppose that means the "detox" works, eh!
i had to stop for a break at 16.
Thank god I'm not the only one!
I literally found myself saying "what the f*ck" as I bent over and touched my feet with my legs straight... As someone who was never athletic I can't remember a time when I could touch past my knees. Amazing! Is this even my body?!
omg same im so close to touching them I just realized
Oh god! me too
never been an athletic easier, but now i can touch my toes easily and it doesn't even hurt
I'm an Alexa too. Alexas unite!
Not an Alexa but unite
Hope you're doing well now. 😊
I'm definitely noticing it's helping with my dislocated shoulder.
More so than lifting weights? I agree. 100% I'm a competitive powerlifter who's done a few competitions and this is genuinely the most humbling experience I've had in a long time. This really exposed how weak I actually am 😅
Adriene, whenever you say "Be happy.", I can't help smiling! Also, I sometimes talk to you as if you are with me. 🤣 You're the best.💕
+Niña Perez I'm close to tears every time as well, haha.. but it helps!
Niña Perez this made me so happy to read. Congrats!
Same for me today 😊 it feels so good! Sending you light and love 💖
How can people dislike a yoga tutorial video? Such haters lol. Adriene is the best!! Day 9 got me sweating
yes i love her!!!
“It truly is an honor to practice with you” me: starts crying in happiness
Haha for me it was my most knightly - "No - the honor is mine! 🛡️"
Oh, my God! Me too!
Omg America, good to see you on this channel! I forgot that you watch Adriene too
*Me crying in pain*
Relate
I found 7 very hard.
I really struggled today too!
@@mmatthes Me too! This description was me on 7th day. Can understand the dissatisfaction one can get when we are half assing through the yoga practice.
But Megan, now 4 years later, have you mastered all the poses? Are you the yogi you set out to be?
Show us what lies in our future!
I just finished day 9, and oh boy, this was the hardest for me so far. I am really bad at balancing myself, so all those lunges killed me! Anyway, I went trough with it, hope I will get better with practice anyday.
Love to everyone, who is doing this in fall 2016
Can summer 2020 get some love too :p
Seriously this series is the best
It is a complete shame that each video get lesser and lesser views. First 2 or 3 had a million or 2. Now it's at a 400k? Adriene you still rock my socks though. 😉
Almost all the videos have a million of views now
It's2019 and more than two milllllion vieeewwws baaaaby yeaaaaah Adriene you rockkk♥️😽😽😽😽
its probably because people give up after the fist d ay or so
Thank you so much for all this yoga! It has helped me so much. You are such a positive energy and so kind hearted. I appreciate you!
Also my heals are finally touching on downward facing dog. hallelujah! Thanks Adriene.
same
+Leela Morris Same! I told myself early January that I would do the challenge for a whole 30 days. Then I got caught up with schoolwork! 4 months later, I'm back with Adriene. My heels used to touch the ground during downward dog, but not anymore.. Haha
Same!
Question: if I spend 20 minutes in child’s pose, does it still count as yoga? 😩
Definitely :-)
It does as long as you remember to draw your navel up and drop your shoulders away from your ears ;)
YES, definetely. And ı am not only saying that because I did the same thing, I am saying because it is true :D
Meditation is yoga for the brain!
definitely lmao
For the first time in my life, my heels touched the mat!!!! That three legged dog did it!!! :-)
Thanks for sharing your time with me”
You make me feel grateful to the world and special that the world has me
Okay, this one had a fast and furious feel to it and it was very challenging - but it was my favorite day so far!
GlassMetropolis I'm here too buddy. Boys doing yoga isn't quite as common, much less owning up to it during the first year or so of practice.
+GlassMetropolis Im also here family
keep it going mandem! 👌
keep it going mandem!
Me too. I find myself laughing more.
There definitely is a lot more strength involved in the older series than the latest one. This one was tough but glad I got through it! Thanks as always Adriene!
I've never stuck with something for more than 3 days and to be on day nine I'm very pleased with this. Thank you for your kindness and dedication to the practice.
Me too.. I'm proud of us 🤝
I just did this one. So far, I've had no issue with learning yoga, but damn, Adriene, you nearly killed me. I was near tears by minute 19, and I was pretty much close to death by minute 22. I love/hate you for it.
Word! This one reminded me of why I let my gym membership lapse..lol.
Namaste 🙏
Here again, working hard and getting results as it seems 😀
This was the hardest one! Following upto the 9th day, I started feeling better about this. I hope I can keep up with this hobby for the rest of my life.
*My heels touched the floor in downward facing dog for the first time! My sweat-laden, red-faced screaming the past 9 days has been worth it!*
This one is a keeper. My yoga poses still look ugly but they feel good atleast. Great workout today.
I feel the same - good thing no one (especially me) can see what I'm up to :,D
Thank you so much, Adriene!
Same here XD
Adrienne: Wipe that sweat off your brow.
Me: whole face is drenched
I agree, I felt an improvement too!
+SimplyMayaB me too! and now my feet nearly touch the mat in down-legged dog. i'm about half an inch off the floor!
AND im not beating myself up over not getting on my mat every single day. i really enjoy your kind, fun, jovial tone and the message you bring. thank you!
Today for the first time I finished without taking any break in this challenge so far... I feel so happy...
This was sooo intense! I'm proud of me that I did it :) had not that much motivation thought. As a beginner I like the streching and relaxing ones more. But yeah well just do it :)
And I am really enjoying this series
So I might as well practice 😊
Thank you comment section! your relatable struggles are a continuous blessing
what a challenge, first one to take rests. This is being fantastic for me this days, I recently came off of medication for depression and anxiety, thank you.
Hi how did u manage to get off medication?
Featuring Full Potential Detox Practice for you today from our June Playlist - Fit Fun & Connected!
This practice hails from our 30 Days Of Yoga project that has connected us with so many new friends from all over the globe. Join the party - tend to yourself through practice.
I'm loving the yoga videos, Yoga With Adriene ! However, I just fractured my foot and will be in a walking boot for the next 4-6 weeks. Any suggestions for doing yoga without injuring/using feet? I know there's some of the lighter floor work, but any suggestions on a power/flow routine that minimizes legs would be ideal :D
Keep on being awesome!
I absolutely love these videos. I'm on day 9 and I feel great. Thanks Adriene!! 😀
Absolutely love this! So glad I found you. My doctor told me Yoga is the best thing for me since I've been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and I'm loving your videos. Thank you for doing what you do!
Hey adrine
I am from India (country of yogis.. U know that)
I am fan of yours.. Ur way of doing yoga is just awesome.. Ur videos are filled with positivity.. ( n i feel that)
Thanku Soo much
Keep it up :-)
Btw me doing.. 30 days yoga with you
I feel good!
+Yoga With Adriene I am from Venezuela, thanks you for your videos....
ADRIENE, YOU ARE THE AWESOMEST OF THEM ALL YOGA! I am truly grateful for you! Bless you, a thousand folds!
Adriene you are so awesome. Even on the days when I'm not "into" my yoga practice you always make me smile and feel good. Thanks girlfriend!
It is an honor to start my day with your yoga teachings. Namaste
The one and only time I will smile during a push up 😊 Happy 9th day!
I can see why 3 friends recommended Adriene - she just exudes positivity!
thank you adriene for the practice - its beautiful and filled with care and love for the viewers .
I wasn’t in the best place today, but you were able to help me out of it. It feels like I just sweat out a lot of stress. Thank you Adriene :)
Wonderful, Taylor! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Namasté :D
This has got to be my favourite short yoga sequence ever - just keep coming back to it... I found what feels good!
I am loving these yoga sessions. I grow stronger every day and learning to balance. Thank you
here's to sweat dripping in my glasses!!! I've been starting my day with the 30 day challenge. Love!!!
+Paula Castleberry Me two keep it up see you at day 30
Thank you so much Adriene for these videos.
Came back to this practice. Did better this time around. Yay! Thank you Adriene for your gift of yoga with us.
