- Building our Own Greenhouse with vintage windows has been such a learning experience. Today we are installing Tuftex Polycarbonate Roof Panels. After all that fun, THE PAYNE Family came over for some family fishing and dinner. Hope You enjoy today's vlog.

We bought them at Lowes, they are called Tuftex PolyCarb 2.17-ft x 8-ft Corrugated Clear Polycarbonate Plastic Roof Panel. We cut them with a grinder wheel, it was the best way, we tried a circle saw and It was not successful, to much movement. the wheel did burn and melt the plastic but it seperated at the cut spot easily.
We cut down polycarb panels to 6 foot pieces. We installed them on the roof of the DIY greenhouse. We had to add some recycled wood (our free wood from how to build a greenhouse cheap), to support the construction of greenhouse roof to apply roof panels.

Oh yikes fighting that wind didn't look fun, but the end result is fabulous! The greenhouse is so close to being finished 😃👍❤️.... Bear was just trying to rub the "clean" off 🤣🤣🤣..... awwww the fishing looked like so much fun! ❤️❤️❤️
Bear is so funny!! That was his first bath this season, 1st in the house! Parker took him in the shower so he could escape and washed him with Aussie!! LOL !! He does smell great with the added dirt and hay :)

Thank you Margie!! I have the bottom metal panel and one more roof panel. Jeremy is going to use the plastic roof stuff on the triangle openings on each peak as well. It has been SO SO windy the past week we cant do any panel work! We will blow away like mary poppins!!

I know you have the side windows for a cross breeze, but are you going to put in any type of exhaust fan? You know me, curious about strange stuff lol
Lol, yes eventually;) I don’t have power out there and I will only get about another 6 weeks to use it so I am but it will be for my fall greenhouse gardening;)
