    Matthew 5:48 KJV
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
    1 John 3:7 KJV
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
    Genesis 6:5-9 KJV
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. [6] And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. [7] And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. [8] But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord . [9] These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
    2 Peter 2:5 KJV
    And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person , a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
    Job 1:1,8 KJV
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. [8] And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Obedience to Christ unto righteousness should be the product of a love relationship with Him, not because we're trying to earn His favour or trying to get into His good books. A believer obeys God and keeps His commandments because He loves God. It's as simple as that.

You would be talking from your own "folly" understanding. The bible makes it VERY CLEAR what a believer is and must do. A true believer will do what is required simply because of what it takes to be a true believer. So read the Bible and figure it out.

Most people KNOW WHAT MUST BE DONE if they are honest with themselves, and they choose not to do it. And that is why most folks are going to hell, even if folks think they are "super good". It is as simple as that.

Christians who are sinning - stop sinning. Repent. Be ye perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. The Lord is coming to judge His people. If you watched this video, you ( and I ) have no excuse not to be perfect as the Lord has commanded over and over again both in the Old Testament and the New.

Repent doesn't mean stop sinning. Repent means to change your mind.
An unrepentant sinner is a person who sins without thinking about it.
A repentant sinner is a person who sins out of weakness, and knows that they are unclean.

1st John 3:8-10 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the son of God was manifested that he manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God DOES NOT SIN because he has been born of God., Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus will say depart from me, I never knew you. You who PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS. Lawlessness=sin.

Jesus is the one that makes us perfect. and how do you define sinning? We all fall short every here and there? I hope it is only to those who practice sin. I do not. Sin is bad for us, but only Christ can forgive it. We are not in the tribulation yet

so many Christians miss the point of what it means to repent and be holy. Just look at all the examples of other saints in the bible living holy by putting their sin down. but I believe ppl make excuses also to live in sin but its also up to these pastors to preach in truth and lead the church by leading them towards the truth of the bible. I believe its possible to live sinless and perfect if you want to.

Jesus as a man proved we can be sinless for Jesus was not tempted as GOD, but as a man only, Jesus Christ had to be man when tempted to defeat satan, so that we would have TRUTH to follow so we could defeat sin and satan.

If I'm not mistaken I address this in the video. But in case I didn't, there are people who were perfect that fell. Job would be a example as the book begins with Satan tempting God's perfect man. (Job 1:8)
As for Noah, it is uncertain from the text what all happened. Some believe that after the flood, people began to age much quicker. (Noah lived to about 900 but after the flood people started to live for much less) It could be that because of this he didn't know it would make him drunk. I believe this seeing how out of nowhere he just grows grapes and gets drunk without cause.

It dos not mean they are not saved. This sinful behavior, especially addictive sins, has a very strong stronghold in every believers. But nothing is stronger than Christ. He can break the most heinous sins. "I did not come to condemn but to save... On the surface it may look like they love their sins. But when they come to their senses, the depth of the love of God will transform their life radically. We can only judge others but God sees no one else can see.

    1 John 1:8 is referring to 1 John 1:6
If you are currently walking in darkness (walking in sin) and you say you have fellowship with God, in darkness you say you are not walking in darkness (not walking in sin) you do not the truth.
"If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:"
"If we say that we have no sin,
    we deceive ourselves,
and the truth is not in us."
People completely throw out THE ONE message of 1 John 1. The whole point of 1 John 1.
"God is light, in him is no darkness at all."
    - Sin = Darkness. (Sin)
    - God = light. (Holy)
    - You MUST abide in God. And God MUST abide in you.
    - God CANNOT have darkness(sin) in him.
    - How can you abide in God if you are a sinner (darkness)?
Answer? Most people have never heared about what HAPPENED on the Cross. Through faith your old man MUST be crucified and your old flesh MUST die on that cross with Jesus. You MUST then be buried with Jesus. Therefore you MUST be resurrected. God moves into you and darkness is gone.
Sin is deeper than just your clay body. Jesus came in the EXACT same flesh as you and I, and he was sinless. Therefore sin IS NOT in the body.

If you are not living a holy life, you are not saved. Walking the path of righteousness is the only way of salvation. That is why few people will be saved. It is only for those that Jesus came. God is Sacred, and no sinful being can reach him. The Holy Spirit makes people saints if abandon the pleasures of life. The ascetic life of a holy man is the way of life for a disciple of Jesus. 13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
The majority of people today do not believe they need to go to Jesus confess our sins, repent and wash our selves in the Blood of the Lamb that renews our garments as with no spot or wrinkle, acceptable for us to go to the Father. Hab 1-13 tells us Father is so holy ,of purer eyes that He can not look upon sin.
Yet every so called, Apostle,Prophet,teacher- preachers teach prayer as OUR FATHER WHO ARE IN HEAVEN or they just speak FATHER I come in the name of Jesus. They bypass the Husband Jesus who died for them and sent out wedding invitation..
The our father prayer given to the disciples was in the timeline before Jesus understood He was to be the Lamb of God and Glorified above all names in heaven and earth even beneath. there are 38,000 registered denominations teaching 38,000 Jesus's. There is but 1 way, 1 life and 1 truth. Do we now understand why judgement begins with the Churches?

    You need to read Romans.

    • @TheRootedWord
      @TheRootedWord 5 років тому +1

Romans says the same thing, by the way. Romans 6 "1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" So you are arguing that Paul is saying we should continue to sin, but just not for the sake of grace abounding. You see now how absurd your doctrine is and how repulsive it is in the nostrils of God? Or do you need me to teach you further into verse 2 on Paul and Romans? How shall we live in sin any longer? We are dead to sin. Paul is stating that it is impossible for us to continue living in sin, when we are truly dead to sin through our baptism (water and spirit).
And further in Romans: "15What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" [Romans 6:15-16] Shall I teach you from this passage as well, Paul's own testimony about whether we must stop sinning or not and whether it is possible? He makes it plain by positioning these two options: obey sin and die or obey obedience and be righteous. Which will be your master? Sin or Obedience?
For Jesus talked about Christians who could only see the Kingdom of God, but not enter into it. They were born again, but not born of both water and Spirit. These are those Paul ran into in Acts who were only born of water through John's baptism, but had not had the baptism by Jesus of the Holy Spirit and fire, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. To those who believed on His name He gave the right to become children of God. They did not automatically become, but were given the right to become. Yet, so many do not use that right and many are never baptized in the Spirit and never enter the Kingdom of God. They talk about it and never enter. So when after some time as Christians they do not experience victory over their personal sins they change the grace of God into license to sin. Or do you not see that your doctrine is a license to sin? If it isn't then stop sinning!

The Rooted Word its not a license is if you didn’t intend to fall. But the more you tell someone do that or do this they will not get up.
Paul knew that and that is why he hid hated by Hebrew roots movement because he preached more against the law then anyone else.
Our faith is counted as righteousness genesis 15:6, Galatians 3:6, and Romans 4:4-6.

"God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God" 2 Corinthians 5:21. Right there says it all. We become righteous in Christ. Not through our actions, not by being perfect. Jesus is our perfection. So the doctrine that is taught today is indeed Biblical. Our faith in Christ is what makes us righteous, not our actions here on Earth. "And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace." Romans 11:6. "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is a GIFT from God-not by works, so that no man can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9. How much clearer do I have to be? We are justified through the grace of God, not by living a sinless life. I'm not saying we have a license to sin, but I am saying that we have mercy for when we do. This is why we are taught to ask for forgiveness when we do sin. That's what prayer and supplication is for. That's also what Communion is for. This attack on one of the most essential doctrines of the Christian faith needs to stop. How many people would be discouraged if they were told that once they found faith in Christ they would have to live completely sinless to enter Heaven? I can guarantee no one would stay in church for long if they were hearing that week after week. You really need to re-examine what the Bible says about mercy and how Jesus is our righteousness. That is what gives us hope. Obedience to God comes in response to the joy felt in what Jesus did for us. This is what my church teaches. Even the fundamental Baptist church I went to taught the same thing, and they are very strict in their doctrines. It's a basic truth of our faith, simple as that. To anyone who reads this comment, don't fool yourself into thinking you can live completely sinless. Strive for it, sure. But don't beat yourself up if you do sin. Instead do what your church has taught you to do, and confess it to God and ask forgiveness. It's that simple

I have a question. So say someone is born again. But then one day, after being born again, they fall into sin. Whether it’s a small sin, or a big sin like David sleeping with Bathsheba or something like that. So because they committed a sin, does that mean that they were never saved to begin with? Or were they saved before but they lost their salvation? And if they lost their salvation by committing that sin, can they’re their salvation back? Please help, I am very confused. Thank you and God bless!

    • @Miguel09z
      @Miguel09z 4 роки тому

The crux of the issue is the word "saved." For over a millennia, the professing church has created doctrines and interpretations based off scripture and or the epistles of the new testament. Things such as purgatory for example. In our time the issue is the word "saved" amongst other things. The thing is, no one is or will be saved until the end when Christ returns to gather his saints. Noah wasn't saved 👉until he was saved.👈 Noah didn't go out and tell the world he was saved because the flood didn't occur yet. But imagine, had he ended up falling into sin then perhaps none of would be here now. Consider Lot as well. Lot was not saved until he was actually saved before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. So if we observe the church today, the church is chanting and saying they are "saved" when in all actuality they are not, at least not yet. No one is, at least not until the end. Not one single apostle nor Christ himself used the term saved as in we are literally saved immediately. Because like I said about Noah, had he departed and fallen into sin, would he therefore be saved? Of course not. So what is it that we should be saying? Simple...
      Matthew 24:13
12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall 👉endure unto the end👈, the same 👉shall be saved.👈
      James 1:12
12Blessed is the man that 👉endureth temptation👈: for when he is tried, 👉he shall receive the crown of life👈, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
So you asked, if a person commits a sin does that mean they were never saved to begin with. Well they were never saved to begin with because no one has been saved yet. What really has happened is that they are no longer 👉enduring👈. But as with anybody, should they 👉repent👈 and turn from that sin, they will find forgiveness in the end and God will know the heart if they trully repented and thus judge accordingly. But many are like Esau, they feel tons of remorse over and over when they keep falling but never seek to repent and thus they continue in sin but believed they are or will be saved. So the confusion comes from the word saved, which we should not be using because its incorrect and doesn't make sense when considering everything Christ and the apostles said. We're told to examine ourselves to see if we're in the faith. We're told to work out our salvation in fear and trembling. So when we do these two things in light of Christ, and we hold on firmly until the end and 👉endure👈, then we 👉shall be saved👈 just like Christ said. (Matthew 24:13)

Instead of beating and weighing new believers down with this, why not spend the energy to give them practical ways they can achieve this sinless perfection you talk about, since you already attained it.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, brothers and sisters in the Lord, don't let this video condemn you. Enough have been said in the comments about the error in this doctrine. Here are practical steps you can take to grow in your walk with the Lord and overcome habitual sins in your life. By God’s priceless grace, they have worked for me and continue to help me grow.
    1. Fasting: I can't emphasize this enough. It is a powerhouse when seeking to grow spiritually. The flesh must continuously be dealt with.
    2. Praying: Needs no explanation. But pray often, and pour out your weaknesses to the Lord. Be honest and transparent and seek His face to help you "be perfect" (Just because it's a life's journey and seems unattainable doesn't mean we can't pray for it. There’s nothing impossible for God)
    3. Reading the Scriptures Daily: Non-Negotiable. There’s is no relationship with God without His Word. When you pray, ask God for a deep desire to spend time with Him in His Word. Your desire will continue to grow ask you seek His face. When you read, pray that God will open your eyes to deeper meaning in His Word, not just the surface or carnal understanding.
    4. Eliminate Distractions: Huge one here. Distractions such as worldly entertainment, social media, sports, etc, are major issues when seeking to be like Christ. This is also something that happens over time as you pray for God to help you in these area. Distractions has a way of exposing us to sinful ways.
This are just some practical examples. As you pray and seek His face, the Holy Spirit will reveal more to you.
Those who truly know Christ need know explanation. Those who do not know Him, no explanation may suffice.

Thank you Frank. You are on the right track. The problem is with our concept of sin. The Greek word ameros means "without allotment" in the Kingdom of God. It has nothing to do with making mistakes. The opposite of sin (verb) is not to be perfect, it is to be holy. And holy means literally "terrifyingly clean". Jesus said the condemnation is this that mean refused to come into the light or else their evil deeds would be clearly seen. So they loved the darkness and hated the light. But those who come into the light come in so it may be clearly seen that their actions have been worked with toiling of God. When we do the actions the Father has marked out for us individually to do in advance (Ephesians 2:10), then these are the actions that complete faith (James 2:22).

    "1 Corinthians 15:
    1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
    -
THE PAYMENT BY HIS BLOOD FOR ALL SINS EVER!
    -
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. ! John Chapter 2: Verse 2
    -
Romans chapter 5: verse 8 But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.9 Much more then, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him."
    -
“For he (God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians chapter 5:verse 21.

" In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;." Ephesians chapter 1:verse 7
    -
Matthew chapter 26: verse 28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (the life is in the blood. He had to pay with His life. That payment covered all sins EVER! Those who receive it through belief in "the Gospel"(good news!Jesus Saves!) are PAID UP! We go UP in glory. Those who do not go down in an eternal conscious death in Hell & then a lake of fire)
    -
"And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." Hebrews chapter 9:verse 22
    -
BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED
    -
Ephesians chapter 2:verse 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast.
    -
Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins and rescue us from eternal death. Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, all we have to do is believe in Him, trusting in His death and in the shedding of His blood as payment for our sins, as well as in His resurrection from the dead, and we will be saved!
    -
WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH
    -
    Romans 10:
9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart man believes in righteousness; And a confession by mouth is given for salvation.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
    -
TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE
    -
Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John chapter 3: verse 16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Rev. chapter 21: verse 8

John corrects you in his 1 epistle. He tells why Jesus died on the Cross. "5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him." [1 John 3:5-6] Jesus was shown in order to take away our sins. If we continue to sin then they are not taken away and that is exactly what John says, "to take away our sins and in him is no sin whoever abides in him does not sin". So John clarifies what he means when he says Jesus takes away our sins. It is not about forgiving, though He does that. This is about actually taking them away so they have no power over us and are not present with us. So if we continue to sin, John testifies that we have not seen Him and we have not known Him. The evidence of our Faith in Jesus Christ is our actions of sin will stop. He confirms that this is what he means by sin in the next verses: "7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." [1 John 3:7-8] Either you walk righteously, in the light, or you sin and you are not of God, but of the devil. Jesus, as God's Son, came to destroy the works of the devil, which are sins. John speaks straight forward, but too many Christians are locked into their sins and cannot accept John's words as the Testimony of God. That means they have never accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord and are in fact not saved. It is the only conclusion from taking John seriously.
Now comes the hardest part: "9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother." [1 John 3:9-10] If you commit sin, you are not born of God. John says it straight up! He also says why. God's seed remains in him, so that he cannot sin. It doesn't say so that he does not want to sin, but that he CANNOT sin. John says that in this exact issue the sons of the devil and the sons of God are revealed. Whoever does not do righteousness is not from God. Even if he does righteousness, if he does not love his brother (others walking righteously) he is not from God either.
There is not other reading of these verses. I have heard famous Bible teachers try to worm their way out of it, but the Testimony of God stands against every man who rejects it. When they reject it, they do not reject either John or me, but they reject God, because it is His Testimony to convict men of their sins, that they might turn and be healed and go and sin no more.

Romans says the same thing, by the way. Romans 6 "1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" So these people are arguing that Paul is saying we should continue to sin, but just not for the sake of grace abounding. You see now how absurd their doctrine is and how repulsive it is in the nostrils of God? Further into verse 2 on Paul and Romans... How shall we live in sin any longer? We are dead to sin. Paul is stating that it is impossible for us to continue living in sin, when we are truly dead to sin through our baptism (water and spirit).
And further in Romans: "15What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" [Romans 6:15-16] Shall this passage rebuke them as well, Paul's own testimony about whether we must stop sinning or not and whether it is possible? He makes it plain by positioning these two options: obey sin and die or obey obedience and be righteous. Which will be your master? Sin or Obedience?
For Jesus talked about Christians who could only see the Kingdom of God, but not enter into it. They were born again, but not born of both water and Spirit. These are those Paul ran into in Acts who were only born of water through John's baptism, but had not had the baptism by Jesus of the Holy Spirit and fire, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. To those who believed on His name He gave the right to become children of God (John 1:12). They did not automatically become, but were given the right to become. Yet, so many do not use that right and many are never baptized in the Spirit and never enter the Kingdom of God. They talk about it and never enter. So when after some time as Christians they do not experience victory over their personal sins they change the grace of God into license to sin. Or do those people not see that their doctrine is a license to sin? If it isn't then they must stop sinning!

We must believe in the righteous One in order to be righteous. We are saved by grace through faith not works. Noah wasn't sinless, he had faith as did all the others that are called righteous. We are made right by grace through FAITH. You conflate faith with working out your salvation. Jesus dealt with sin once for ALL. This doesn't mean we no longer sin it means that we are no longer in bondage to sin.

We obtained righteous from Jesus when we came to him, that he purchased on the cross for us because he did not purchase righteousness for himself because he was already righteous. it’s his righteous not our own. If you’re born from above? You will hate your sin, you will seek forgiveness, and you will continue to repent and walk as close to God as you can through the power of the HolySpirit. The just shall live by faith.what is faith? Faith is confidence in what we hope for , and assurance in what we do not see. If you have the Holy Spirit, you are sealed unto the day of Redemption . Once saved always saved works, if you truly are saved , because he will chastise his children ‘ he does not chastise the world. He will chase you down until you return. No one can resist God’s chastisement that is a true Born Again believer. Of all that the father gives the son it is the father‘s will that he lose not one. God already knows the number that’s going to heaven, but most will die and go to hell.

There are no sinless Christians. Neither no man walked this earth except from Jesus has been without sin. The teaching in this video is wrong and deceptive.
There are several examples in the bible when God declared persons as perfect, YES. But this justification is always based on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ!
Abraham believed God and this was counted him as righteousness. The same with Zacharias and Elisabeth. In the old covenant they sacrificed animals to provide a temporary covering of sins and to foreshadow the perfect and complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ. In the new covenant we don't need to do that because the blood of Jesus is already shed for our sins. A righteous and perfect man is in the bible always referring to a man with right heart before God, and always this is possible because of the shed blood of Jesus. It does not mean that anyone would be perfect in himself. Only in Christ we can be righteous before God!

An employee takes a loan from the boss. Employee could not repay the loan. The boss forgives the loan of the employee. NOT BECAUSE THE EMPLOYEE REPAID THE LOAN OR THE EMPLOYEE DESERVES FORGIVENESS. BUT BECAUSE THE BOSS' HEART IS A MERCIFUL ONE.
Our sins (recurring, continuous, heineous and repetitive or NEW sins) are FORGIVEN BY GOD, NOT BECAUSE we deserve it, or we ask for it. BUT GOD IS ABUNDANTLY MERCIFUL.
In Bible, Paul says this. 'No man can be forgiven; no man deserves forgiveness or eligible for forgiveness. But because OUT OF ABUNDANT MERCY, God forgives us on His own.
Jesus told the bad woman who escaped stoning by mob, 'Go with peace. BUT SIN NO MORE'. It is the same with humans. Humans too are told 'not to sin again' while forgiven. But again and again man commits sins. Still God forgives men/women/childten.

So Peter did not know Christ before he denied Him? Some of the disciples doubted while they saw Christ after the resurrection? Were Paul and Barnabas not sinning when they had an argument about Mark? Was Peter not sinning when Paul confronted him? Did Paul not say that he wanted to do good, but the evil present in him followed another law/principle? It is good not to just quote the promises, but also the warnings, but also keep yourself to all Scripture, not part of it.
    Matthew 28:16-17, 23
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
    Matthew 26:74-75
Then he began to [o]curse and [p]swear, saying, “I do not know the Man!” Immediately a rooster crowed. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So he went out and wept bitterly.
    Matthew 28:17
When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
    Galatians 2:11
Now when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed
    About Romans 7:19-22
For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.

Obedient is a result of our relationship with God and what God has done for us. It is God who loves us first that transform our heart to follow him. One Reality, to me you sound like: we have to do something in order to be righteous. I am righteous because what Christ did. When God the Father sees me, he sees Christ's righteousness, not me that keeps falling into sins (sins that am aware of and sins that I am not aware of). So I am sorry bro, your message is still flawed. The desire not to sin should not be based on the mentality to keep my righteousness or to keep my salvation secured. Bu it should be based on "I am righteous because I have accepted Christ righteousness in me. And there is nothing I can do next (after receiving Christ salvation) to make myself more and less righteous (or to continually secure my salvation). How I live my live next after receiving Christ should be based on that new identity God bestowed on all believers. So I no longer feel despair or depressed on my failure from keeping myself away from sinning because God is already pleased with me. Only God can declare a person righteous (despite the person imperfection). Because God is just, payment is still demanded for every sins. And that payment is fully paid yesterday, today and tomorrow sins. Because I am no longer feeling condemned, I can stand before God righteous(back in the old days you need to sin sacrifice in order to stand before God and make one's confessions) because of Christ. Note also that Christ is my advocate. He is the one in heaven that tells the Father that I am righteous. Just like my boss telling his boss about how good I am at my work despite, for an example, from time to time I was not consistently productive in what I do. So everyday I can come to Him and confess my sins without sacrificing Jesus ever again. What Jesus did is a one time done deal thing. So as a Christian who keep on sinning because they could not break free from their sinful nature, God will heal me from that sinful behavior. But if that I keep feeling feeling guilty because my failure, my condition is hopeless and his salvation is useless. If this is the case, who can save us? What you say is right but deeply flawed without this truth. We are all righteous, the moment we made that declaration about Christ in our life. Out of that new identity, God heals my wounds that cause me to sins (confess your sins to one another so that you may be healed...I dont remember the exact words. Its from the book of James in New Testament).

We were gifted the gift of righteousness. Romans 5:17. Salvation is not of ourselves.Anyone who says that he doesn’t miss the mark is self righteousness . Jesus told us that if we look at someone with lust in your heart you already have committed adultery in their heart. If you get angry with someone you already have committed murder.James said that when you fail to do the right thing you sin.God has no time for self righteous people. Our good deeds are like dirty rags before a Holy god God does not impute sin to the believers Romans 4:7,2 Corinthians 5;19,1 John 2:2. Sin is no longer an issue with god as Jesus dealt with this sin problem on Calvary,2000 years ago.We are no longer to be sin conscious but Son conscious Hebrews 10:2 When we sin we enter boldly into the throne of grace to receive mercy, admitting that we have messed up again and thank god for the blood of Jesus which cleanses us from all unrighteousness The goodness of god leads us to repentance Romans 2:4

Jesus’s words are the words of eternal life, they keep you from going back into the bondage of serving sin which is serving Satan, if we obey him. That’s why the first disciples kept following him and obeying him because they believe he has the words of eternal life if his words are not in your heart they’re not the treasure of your heart Jesus says whatsoever a man does that’s the treasure of his heart. If you don’t obey Jesus words you don’t have eternal life remaining in you,his words are eternal life that’s why people cannot stop sinning they don’t have faith in his words they have faith in the work on the cross not in the worker

John chapter one, no one is saved by their will but by the will of God. John chapter three, the spirit goes where it wills like the wind and lands whet it wills. You must be born again. No man can give himself birth or even help in the process. Jesus to Peter after he says who Christ is, you did not learn this on your own but my father revealed me to you. Try as hard as I might to be righteous, I cannot be righteous except that God calls me to himself and reveals himself to me. That work is done by the Holy Spirit. If the spirit does not reveal Christ to me, I won't even be concerned or even know or care if I'm a sinner and even make up reasons why I'm ok. It is Christ's righteousness I wear until I leave this world and he has given me his Spirit as a deal of promise.

If this gentleman believes that he is sinless, he doesn't understand how totally demanding God's standard of sinless perfection really is. Has he ever read the Sermon on the Mount? Has he ever read Paul's statement in Romans that nobody will be declared righteous in God's sight by obeying the law. Rather, the law points out that we are sinners. If he doesn't recognize his sin, then he is unrepentant. This is dangerous theology.

We dont live in what we know is sin. Our righteousness only comes through Jesus not from ourselves. His laws are on our heart. Why we need the holy spirit. Holy spirit gives us conviction. Its our connection with God. Some believe we become sinless. Well the bible says if that is so thrn Christ becomes void and paul said of we think we are not sinners thrn the truth is not in us!

To begin with a born again Christian is a baby, and as a baby it must grow. We are called to go through a process that the Lord puts all of us through. We must be justified, purified and sanctified. This can take many years. Many have gone forth (called) but few have been sent. Few were Sent . Of consequence many false teachers have gone forth You are a FALSE TEACHER> REPENT or PERISH>
Being that I am one of the greatest sinners the Holy Spirit is still working on me. Recall the child who fell in and out of the fire, the child whom Jesus answered that this child carried the sins of its forefathers up to six generations.
There is much that goes on spiritually with people that is not readily apparent.. When someone has been abused for years and years comes to Christ and often may fall we must be their with compassion and love leading them back to the Blood of Jesus. If my brother sins against me how many times must I forgive him 70 times 7. (Mat 18/22) Let him without sin throw the first stone.
Yes, there are many trials and tribulations, none are worthy of salvation, we are saved by grace attained through the Blood of Jesus that washes away our sins. We are running our of time and the Bride must keep her gown washed in the Blood of the Lamb. No one goes to the Father except through me Jesus Christ. Those who say they are without sin are liars. There is but one who was perfect before the Father ,his Son Jesus.
Those who are forgiven much will love much.luke7

In order to be righteous we must do what is right? But before this is possible we must forsake our sinful nature and repent and accept Jesus sacrificial death for forgiveness and receive His righteousness in our lives through His Holy Spirit when we are born again. "Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister." 1 John 3:7-11

DO NOT MIX THESE UP MONEY AN SIN!!!! the reason y the mark of the beast is about money is because once you take the mark you are committing 2 depending on money 2 provide for you!! Your answer surely comes from what you believe. However, our belief can be skewed. Regardless of how that scripture is interpreted by him, it is still used correctly in essence. You can not serve God and serve sin at the same time.

Jamie 007; 1 John 1:1-10; 2:1-2; Romans 7:23-25; Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 3:1-3; Phil.3:20-21 are essential to understand for all us who remain in a sin nature (while being indwelled by God the Holy Spirit) until fully sanctified at the call of Jesus Christ in the Rapture. We will NOT live in continuous sin! 1 John 3:9 uses "continuous" and THAT we will never do if we are IN CHRIST. The Holy Spirit will see to that! I find that 1 John 3:9 speaks of not sinning. Yet he is teaching that with our minds we must agree that sin is what we don't want to do. Paul furthers this by saying his flesh waged war against his spirit. The speaks much about us fighting sin. If you think you are sinless you better reevaluate your self. Self righteousness does not save you. Faith in Christ alone will. I notice you haven't responded. I'm waiting.

When he said it is finished, that is not what he meant. We can not take ambiguous statements and make them mean what we want them to mean. All sins CAN be forgiven. It doesn't mean they WILL BE forgiven. One must repent first then forgiveness comes. So if a person is continually sinning, especially the same sins and asking for forgiveness, then they haven't repented of their sins. That is like a child continually saying oops sorry and never turning from their disobedience.

Love this bro, not many talk like this. The only thing is, as God bless me to be a witness to GODS perfect govern over my life, is that in the new covenant there's nothing we can do, not enough we can do to make our self righteous, but we believe that only GOD can make us righteous, so we seek righteousness 1st then when we really believe JESUS baptizes us with fire, and that is what makes us righteous, it's his work. But from that point on now we're able to do righteous.
It's like we really don't have free will, we're slaves to sin, but when GOD makes us righteous due to our Faith in what he did through CHRIST now we're given our free will back. Then from then by GODS amazing GRACE we are able to live sinless holy and then righteous with out fear for the rest of our days on Earth.

I am a sinless Christian... I live my life in complete righteousness and holiness. I live in a constant state of repentance so that I can remain in righteousness because I FEAR GOD ! .... I was a "believer" my entire life but my wakeup call was 18 months ago after I had fallen into lukewarmness. I was a worldly Christian and I was convicted that if Jesus came that day - I would be judged to hell. I was horrified because it was made known to me that I was FAR from the kingdom of God and yet I thought I was "safe" (saved). It took 3 months for me to get my life in order (to get right with God). I moved (rid my life of worldly possessions) and I gave up a legal case I had been working on full time for 4-5 years (I forgave everyone instead who wronged me and I still actively pray for them today). For 3 weeks straight morning to night during that time - the holy spirit brought to my mind - thought after thought after thought of unrepented sins that I was carrying around. I dealt with each thought by repenting each one as they came (2 Corinthians 10:5 (NLT) Biblegateway 5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.). I also dealt with unforgiveness and resentments towards those whom the holy spirit brought to my mind because we cannot be carrying around unrepented sins, resentments or unforgiveness for anyone... Once in awhile STILL, the holy spirit will bring me an unrepented sin (thought/memory) and I promptly deal with it. It was made known to me that I MUST live holy (faultless) at all times and so I stopped sinning. I no longer sin. I AM a sinless Christian because sin is a CHOICE. I might make a mistake (a small unintentional sin) but my mistakes are NOT big mistakes (big sins). They are small unintentional sins made through growing and maturing in Christ... If YOU believe you cannot stop sinning - then ask yourself what sins can't you stop? and why? because Jesus gives us the power to stop sinning WHEN we accept him into our life with TRUE humility and repentance and then we are given (granted) a new heart (we are born again). Maturing in Christ does not BEGIN until we are living in righteousness... My conviction came FIRST and then I studied the scriptures and the scriptures say that only the holy (the righteous, the pure and blameless, the faultless, the meek and mild and the humble) will see God and enter the kingdom of heaven... OSAS - I am sorry but you are believing the lie that righteousness is somehow transferred to you... it is NOT. We have a part in our own salvation. We never lose our freewill. If you cannot stop sinning - you are not honest and you are lost.

@Lily Denial Why can't you stop sinning? What sins can't you stop?
When I say that I don't sin. I mean that I refuse to sin. But I do make mistakes but my mistakes are NOT the sins that lead to death (fornication, lying, cheating, cursing, swearing etc.).
If you are having trouble saying no to sin then you are playing with your life and you are mocking God which is not wise. Maybe watch some hell testimonies. They might have an impact on how you live your live for now on.

Here's one for you if God knows everything don't you think he already knows where your destination will be,? don't you think he already knows all your free will choices before he even created you? Of course he does so then ask yourself is God up there creating people that he knows will spend eternity burning in Hell? Does that sound like a rational loving God? No it's doesn't sound like a loving God to me but I do believe one exists I think a lot of religions use hell as there sales pitch they have to have something to save you from you can't have good without evil, and you can't have evil without good they both must exist and they both come from God we both have good and evil in US we just have to learn to balance the two think for yourself do what you think is right, and you can't go wrong can't sit there and worry all day long is that a sin is this a sin what might be a sin for one person might not be a sin for another the Bible says there's not one righteous man no not one yet we trust 60 different authors with God's word does that make any sense? I think there are some good parts in the Bible I don't think the entire Bible is bad I think the teachings of Jesus Christ are good feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, do on the others as you want done to yourself that's all you got to do man, and there's many other religions that are very peaceful and loving the only two that seem to be the most hypocritical and the most negative towards every other faith is Christianity, and Islam. I've yet to hear a Hindu, or a Buddhist talk s*** about other religions, and put them down but Christianity will call every other religion other than theirs satanic the most hypocritical judgmental people I've ever met have been Christians, but there are a lot of good Christians as well they're not all like that
