Thanks to you these beautiful toys live on !!!!!....I can't believe that people were so careless about the toys they once played with....great restoration on ALL OF THEM... THANKS
I truly believe the patient attention to each small detail of this project really brings out true authenticity of the original vintage truck. Truly magnificent work.
I've seen other "restorers" videos but none are as enjoyable to watch nor have the skills you do and their finished pieces reflect that. Thanks for an interesting & relaxing hour.
I'm glad that there are people out there who restore things back to fantastic and new condition, too many times I tossed things out even though I didn't want to, because I lack knowledge of how to fix it, and skill.
You have me addicted... I went and bought a sandblaster to restore an old army gas tank for my Jeep. :) Thank you for your inspiration, I can't imagine how much you have invested in tools and time for these projects.
This was an extremely thorough and accurate restoration using some very sophisticate equipment. This truck and trailer would be a great display piece in someones home or office. Beautiful~
A spectacular job of restoring every single piece in this massive project. What is even more impressive to me though, is the masterpiece of video editing done to make this process look so smooth and seamless.
WOW! You've got ALL the toys...and I'm not talking about the things you restore! CAD program, CNC, 3-D printer, lathe, all the Dremel stuff, welder, professional spray booth with filtration, sandblaster, oven for curing powder coat paint....I love it, and am partially jealous...(although I lack the math skills it takes to use the first three items I mentioned)...
Poor little red truck please to see you got it will be fantastic when you get it done .I love this channel I am amazing at just how much work takes for one Restoration thank you for sharing keep your videos coming
Epic! And the most amazing tools. Your attention to detail is so satisfying to watch. Love, someone who works with messy data and broken Excel worksheets all day...
Two things amazes me, one that there are people who let such a beautiful toy rot away and two, that there are people who can restore them like new... wonderful job...❤️
Ok , you got me! Beautiful work. I'm a girly girl now, but I used to crawl around with my brothers in the dirt, driving Tonka trucks. My personal favorite was a Semi hauling a 6 horse trailer. Wish I had them now! I'm 66 now! My dad took the horses from us, painted them up and put them with his horse collection! Haha!
Quite the Chip factory you're building. If I hadn't watched the video, it would be hard to believe that something that far gone could be brought back to shine again the way it first did in some child's eyes!
Thank you Ray Wood! I'm super excited to keep adding more tools to the shop, I hope to some day be able to remake all of the parts for one of these toys.
Wow, awesome restoration. Beautiful semi tractor trailer. You have a lot of cool toys now to do these incredible restorations. How fun. Your talents are amazing. Thank you for sharing them and the adorable Beaker. 😸💕😊💕😸
I applaud your patience on these challenging projects, I guess there's some truth to the saying the greater the challenge the greater the reward. Well done as always.
Amazing work! the mixture of old and new school tech makes your channel one of the most interesting restoration channels out there! keep up the good work.
Great video, that poor old truck definitely had seen better days, whoever previous got their money’s worth out of it.day and night transformation.you do have the talent for these types of projects.keep up your work ethic and carry on 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Your skills and techniques have increased so much over the years. This is a stunning example of that. I am totally impressed. I love to watch you work. I restore toys myself for my own collection but you Sir are on a much higher level than me. Looking forward to the next one. I hope it is the tank. Wink wink.
Thanks so much Shawn Fisher!😊 I was really excited to try stamping parts in this video! The tank is coming soon, Just waiting on a few additional parts yet and hopefully my new lathe to come in
Painstakingly & meticulously done! It passed the Cat's 59:02 inspection too! All the new tools and techniques add a new flavour to each episode. Brings back some sweet childhood memories too. Many a times, I feel that the Tonka toys you restore are better than they were bought brand new from the Toy store!
This one was in rough shape. You did an amazing restoration on it though. I love watching you make parts for it. You definitely have an eye for details. Thanks for sharing 😀
I have never seen a rust bucket come to life like this-it was great saving the toy from a smelter's fire. The replaced board was a plus-the old one could not hold well with new nails. Now if you will excuse me I need to watch your other restores.
Awesome job Chip! I like how you used your new 3d printer to create new trailer wheels. I enjoy watching all your videos. Thanks again for sharing with all of us.
I enjoyed this episode very much. I especially liked seeing how you polished the (aluminum?) siding on the trailer. Seems like I learn something new with every episode.
I am amazed at the beautiful, smooth surfaces you achieved. You have such an eye for detail as well as diligence and skill to create such awesome results. It is immensely satisfying to see such marred, broken vehicles become things of beauty! I love how you use sophisticated tools like CNC and 3D printing. As a long time equipment software engineer, I think about how cool it would be to develop the software embedded in those tools, controlling all that hardware. I'm such a tech geek. 😄 Keep up the great work!
I didn't know these tin toys. But I imagine they are now better than those originally found in the showcase of old toy stores. Hugs and congratulations for this work of art.
Just admit it, you LOVE tools and GADGETS! I don't think I've ever watched a UA-cam channel that is more relaxing, and totally mesmerising. Thank you for you channel.
Hey man this is over the top + out of the park! Amazing skill + craftsmanship! 5 stars for you. Accually better than new. They never primered toys, just shot the lead finish on bare metal. I'd pay $ 1,000 for this truck. When i left for Vietnam, my cousin's raided my toys behind my mother's back! Sorry saps. Carry on my friend....... You keep the memory alive! ..
Excellent work-all the wannabee restorers are not even on the same planet as you. I like to listen to my favorite music and watch you do this-very relaxing. Also-I saw your little "oopsie" with the mud flap mount, but that just shows you are human. I really enjoy this channel.
An extremely challenging restoration extremely well done! Kudos to you sir! I have watched you increase your skills over the years and move into new techniques and methods. I look forward to your new projects with interest.

3-D printing, parts machining, and die stamping, all in one restoration? Outstanding!

It is great to see old "decent" tonka and other vehicles being restored.
I really enjoy watching you restore these classics.
It is nice to know someone out there takes an intrest in restoring old toys like this, keep it up.

What a beauty. The only thing I like more than seeing what you do to your old little boy toys is the big boy toys you use to fix them all up!!
Amazing that a kid's toy from the 1950s outlasted all the appliances you buy today! Beautiful work!
