You know I've watched a few episodes now, and I always see the before footage and think, "that's just a mess." But they always look so nice when your done. Satisfying everytime. 🥰😉♥️♥️
The great passion you have for these restorations really shows in the paint finish. Another classic model save from the recycling! And your cohosts, The Sheep and Beaker! Thank you!
Electroplating and sand blasting speaks to me on a spiritual level ! All the other restoration channels never give 100% which is why you are the best ! Love the sheep i was expecting to see one when you opened the rear doors.
Chip nice job on this restoration. This is my favorite one yet. Good way to spend Sunday. Thanks Chip for taking us along. Peace Brother. Until the next.
Nicely done!! I remember having a truck just like this one as a kid my sister had a bunch of dollhouses take my truck I would fill up the truck with the all off the stuff from the dollhouses and drive off pretended its moving day then my sister comes to find all of her dollhouses empty then after she left to tell mom I would fill up one of the houses with everything I did it many times until I got busted my dad saw me loading up one of the houses lol.
I have/had the same semi only my cab was a different design, single headlights, different grill. When you mentioned all the rust at the front of the trailer and how rusty the whole unit was I think I know why. As a child, whenever my family took me to the beach my Tonka trucks came with me. Often they would get wet as the tide came in. These constant salt-water baths ate away the metal, especially the axles.
Nothing is so satisfying as watching all your repair patches, putty marks, guidelines, etc, disappear under primer and look smooth and pristine. The best work you can do is when it doesn't look like you did any:)
The only thing that would stop me from attempting projects like that is.....................the sanding............. That chrome paint is so cool! almost looks like the same thing! Objectively, unpolished chrome! I would have peroxided and polished the headlights.... Awesome restoration!
Your work is excellent, I'm a new suscriber from Catalonia...really each time I see your videos I hate not to play with these beatiful restaured toys. But I enjoy these channel in two ways, the first that I've just explained upper and the second thinking about the artists who created the original products, the way that they find to ensambled it parts, the colours they applied, the children who they've got in mind as the final clients! Masterminds, they creating it and you giving them a second youth!
I would love repairing these old toys and giving them to children. Especially children that have struggling parents that can't afford to get their kids toys
Sympathize with not liking spiders. I don't care too much for certain varieties of bees either. Good vids. I used to have a lot of the vehicles you restored. Great work.
I’ve been subscribed for a while and love your videos especially after a long shift at the hospital as a nurse but I would love to know more about you. Perhaps a q and a fit the fans some Day. Also the kill it with fire I feel that in my soul. lol.
I cringed when I saw you sand blasting the emblems away... it's cool that you got replacements tho, I thought you were gonna draw them back on or something. Great work, thanks for the content 👌
AMAZING RESTAURATION IS A BEAUTIFULL COLOR . IS THE VERRY BEST CHANNEL FOOR THE RESTAURATION CAR GAMES. I LOVE YOU CHANNEL . SORRY FOOR MY ENGLICH I AM FRENCH.
I've been subscribed for a while now my friend. I love the work that you do. I don't comment very much because I don't like repeating other people and there's really nothing new or unique I have to add. Just know that I am here and I am watching every video that comes out. I would love to see a more in-depth video of how you get the inside of a trailer that long to get it sandblasted and to get it powder coated.
I love all these videos, I have a Tonka ambulance from the 70s that's missing the tailgate, gurney and figures but has plenty of restoration potential, If you might be interested in restoring it I'd be happy to send it to you, Let me know.
New to your channel...I have been watching a few of your videos. I really enjoy how you take rusted junk and give it back its life. Its fun to watch. Thanks!
🏅🎖🏆Que gran trabajo hizo aquí maestro... que tranquilidad ver sus videos...lo felicito... ¿Cual es el tiempo real del trabajo??? Saludos desde Viña del Mar Chile🇨🇱👍👍👍

@@ChipChannelRestorations hey, what is the purpose of electroplating?
I had one too! Mine had a u.s highway sign with a #1 on it ,next generation, squared off trailer and restyled truck!
My friend, you took us back to childhood days. You are respectful and professional. Thank you very much
I can’t get over how satisfying it is to watch sandblasting, I just can’t get enough of it!!!

Your video is great, I'm watching it with pleasure. It's like a documentary, thank you
Lo mejor de estos vídeos es que no tienen música de fondo, el sonido es el que hacen las herramientas al trabajar , es fantástico
ASMR del bueno jajaja
Don't forget the crickets chirping somewhere nearby. 😊

Your tow truck must built well to be able to pull the tractor and the trailer at the same time😆😆😆
At 8:30ish, thank you for burning 🔥 the spider 🕷 nest! I don't like them either....from Wyoming USA 🇺🇲🤠
I’ve always said a blowtorch is needed when it comes to spiders.
