In recent interviews, he hits a lot of the same points - tantric sex, talking about existence ("are we even here at all?")b, strange coffee, spacious and luxurious life as a burden, casually mentioning being sober... I wonder if this is intentional, or if they are just making fun of a stereotype that Jim happens to follow closely.
Why the joke failed? Or why SeeSo did? As it relates to the joke, I think the latter may be the reason for the former, which is why I now find it even funnier.
