December 25th is the birthday celebration of Nimrod. The tree is part of that. Catholic church got Christians to go along by declaring it the birth of Jesus. Easter is also a pagan holiday.
AMEN!!!!
Scripture absolutely does not state anything about xmas celebration. I’m so glad ABBA has opened my eyes to pagan holidays🙅🏻♀️ #IamFree
Jer 10 is talking about customs of the pagan and not to follow it, plain and simple.
Not sure its about trees. Its more likely about forging gods.
Amen!! At my school they do Christmas but not me because God says not to and I want to obey and honor God and Jesus was born in the Fall 🍁 not winter ❄️. God says, "keep My feasts!!" I am not sure what all the seven feasts are but I would love to do them instead of pagan holidays that God says not do. I want to learn about the feasts because I want to be a real Christian and please God and doing pagan holidays doesn't please God . Because He says "Be separate come out from them and I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters. Thank God and Jesus Christ for saving me from this world and hell. God and Jesus are precious to me!!🥹😭💔😱🤯😍🤩🔥💞💕💖✨😎🥳🎉🔥❤️🔥💘
Thank you for this. I've argued with my family and ended up being the scrooge after about 10 years of me not liking Christmas. I believe it to be a pagan holiday and I don't like to participate, but I sure love getting together with the family and shooting guns and eating good food.
Every day is named after a pagan. But we acknowledge the day so what's your point.
So a custom before Christ which we are specifically warned against we now use to celebrate Christ? This can’t be good... also based on a lie... the date of birth of Jesus.
We're supposed to celebrate Christ's death and resurrection, but the Bible never says to celebrate his birth. I'm ok with Christmas though because it seems like people are more willing to talk about Christ around Christmas time. Over the years, I've gotten away from the materialism part of Christmas gift giving. If you want to give me a gift at Christmas, spend some time with me, have a good meal with me, and let's talk about how awesome our God is.
From what this guy just said about nimrod and Jeremiah etc, That was all the more reason to avoid 25th December because it's misleading. Speak straight forward and plain and don't pander to people!
I agree with Mike Pearl . I grew up loving
Christmas including santa clause . I loved
the gifts , the holiday style . No one ever
mentioned Lord Jesus Christ in our house .
Now , I thank God the Father everyday for
for sending Lord Jesus Christ , try not to
worry and pray in supplication . Any day is
a good day to give our or a needy child a
gift . Thanks giving supper can be more than
once a year , family and friends . Sharing is
a good thing anytime in Jesus name .
Thank God , amen .
Well said !!!
Christmas has never been about Jesus, but mostly covetous and fulfilling the lusts of the flesh, and teaching the lie of Santa Claus to impressionable baby children, then one day they learn, Santa is not real, and that you lied about Santa Claus to them. What do you expect, when you tell them, your God is real, after you lied to them about Santa Claus
Why are people so stuck on Santa Claus and the Easter bunny and eggs. If it’s offensive to God then get rid of it. Throw away your flawed mindset that this is somehow honoring Christ. Read your Bible and you’ll see that these holidays look more like pagan rituals than anything to do with Jesus. Just let it go, it’s okay to be set apart from the world and it’s traditions, In fact, God clearly commands us to be set apart from the world!
I NEVER participate in Christmas celebrations EVEN if I am invited. I just REFUSE.
Me too! Because I want to please God. I love God and Jesus Christ. 🤯😍🤩💞💕💖✨😎🥳🎉🔥❤️🔥💘
We need to be careful about over-simplifying things. We don't reject scripture just because some have used it to justify evil. No, we confront such things and use correction, discernment and clarification to make sure the truth overtakes the lie.
I understand the general premise here, but to say "keep Christ out of Christmas" is not a statement we Christians should be making. I would rather say "put Christ in Christmas wherever we find he is absent from it."
Consider the point Michael makes about the secular side of Christmas - Santa Claus, bright lights, ribbons, buying, commercialism, etc. That's what we Christians tell others that is not where their focus should be. Christ came into the world, and that's a story worth telling - much more so than talking about Santa Claus and commercialism. Let us not squabble about dates, worldly history or details that would lead us to keep silent.
We tout Christmas as a time to celebrate God's gift to humankind - that being the path to forgiveness and salvation. Just because some apply secular meanings to Christmas does not mean that they have won it for their prize. We should never stop defending God's truth, and that time of year is a time when we can share that message to those who would listen.
To withdraw from Christmas in this world is to leave those not yet reached to their own devices. Christmas is a special time of witness, and we Christians should use that time for God's glory. Some commenters sound like those who rebuked Jesus for sitting with the sinners, or healing on the Sabbath.
Keep our focus on Christ.
According to the actual translation, using a concordance, NOTHING about Jeremiah 10 was a sculpted image. It was an actual Tree. Michael Pearl has lost my respect. The Pagan roots of 'Christmas' has nothing to do with Christ. Shame on you Mr. Pearl. Leading others to Stumble, you will pay for it.
Sadly here we did come looking for Mike's opinion. The Bible is clear that we should not learn the way of the heathen
That verse is clearly describing the modern day "Xmas" tree. I'm (respectfully) not sure why he's walking this back. I agree with much of this gentleman's interpretations, but I'm afraid he's wrong on this one. It is quite clear. The "Xmas" tree is paganism along with Santa Claus and the like. The purpose of CHRISTmas day is to celebrate and give praise to the birth of Christ, is it not? The tree is meant to distract from that purpose...and by the looks of the world today, it has been successful.
You do know the X of Xmas is a Greek Chi, the first letter of Christ in Greek, and the standard abbreviation of Christ for these last two thousand years.
This explosive revelation will not be accepted by many. People aren't hearing this, but pastors know: Christmas was adopted from pagans, and Yahusha was not born on December 25th. Yahuah is our Alahim, and He became flesh to reconcile us to Himself, shedding His own precious blood to redeem us completely (Acts 20:28). Those who have pledged themselves to Him in immersion do not continue to sin against Him, otherwise they will will receive the judgment we read about at Hebrews 10. The Galatians were turning back to their former patterns, living as pagans (birthday cakes & wishes to the queen of heaven, special days, and all their highly esteemed holidays). They were turning away from the Truth, and were backsliding into the weak and miserable principles their parents had taught them. Today's pastors, teachers, and parents have all embraced these things, and train children to do the same. Who can stand before Yahusha when He comes to end all the idolatry we inherited from our fathers? Only His pure bride will be safely protected from the reapers as they burn the weeds first, then gather the wheat. Psalm 91 tells us we will see fiery wrath poured out on 10,000 at our right hand, but it will not come near our tent. The plagues are here, and the fire comes next. We're not getting this warning from the majority of teachers; just more egg trees.
I feel like it’s a good opportunity to slip Jesus into your conversations and give gospel tracts people seem a little more willing at that time and family are more willing to come over and to teach your children about the birth of Christ even though that’s not necessarily when he was born. So I think a Christian should take advantage of it and celebrate Christ on that day
I agreeing! It's like a Paul used the altar to the unknown God as a witness to the Greeks but notice Paul never joined them in sacrificing at the altars. We can absolutely take advantage of Christmas to bring people's attention to Christ, but I can't in good conscience tell them that the holiday is historically and spiritually true.
If we ever put that same amount of 'Christmas energy' and hospitality into church love feasts, that would be amazing! The early church was feasting with each other all the time! Imagine, these would be such times to financially support the needy and the body of christ, and make people feel so welcome.
Have nothing to do with darkness and these silly little things are doorways or beckons for evil. If you think you don’t worship these things then go a whole year without taking any part. These things violate what the Holy Spirit commanded the gentile church in Acts 15. Instead of buying pumpkins, candy, costumes and ext, could you not spend that money on what will glorify His Kingdom? Lots of Burger King could be fed to those without. I’m not judging nobody, He gave you free will. I’ve noticed major blessings and revelations after walking away from these things. It’s about pleasing Him! I fail and fall short as we all do and it’s always willingly, nothing uncommon to man. We gotta be set apart.
You cannot mix Pagan traditions and holidays with God's truth
you just read it and change it at the sametime?when you make your kids bow down and have your kids want santa more than the FATHER you err
Of course Santa Clause would say this.
Here's something to think about that I heard from Jesse Duplantis & he makes an argument on HOW we celebrate the season.......considering that JESUS is the reason for the season. He said that if we can spend millions making an amusement park celebrating a mouse that we could surely celebrate our Lord. JESUS said to weep at birth and rejoice at death. We suspect that JESUS was not born at Christmas. We say that we are only pilgrims in this world because the Garden of Eden was taken away however JESUS will yet have the garden restored and we that accept the SAVIOR will live there. Can you imagine? We read the scriptures of what lies on the other side and it is hard to imagine when all we have known is this world.
People forget the real reason for Christmas Jesus says goto all the nations and spread the word. Whats better then having a holiday with Jesus name in it to remember. Weather you believe or not Christmas is all around and the joy it brings. Unless to want to be like Jehovah Witness and knock on every door.
Mr Pearl, I love listening to you teach, you are always very accurate and nip it in the bud but I feel you are wallowing around this issue, you speak sparingly, its not satisfactory...your answer is not hitting home...
The most important take back is remembering we all have sinned and fall short of God’s righteousness, whether we celebrate Christmas or see it as pagan. Neither will save your soul. It is declaring Christ Jesus, your Lord and Savior, and acknowledging you are a sinner, that truly matters most. Condemning other Christians for their traditions can be a form of pride.
And to this I add I see a lot of judging and hatred in these comments. Mike was indifferent which is exactly what all of us should be when it comes to Christmas.
Agreed I am a wicked sinner hung up on the verse. People call me Grinch but maybe I am judging others to make myself feel better
Yes, I agree!
Your misleading people please stop
I watched Robert Breaker's video as well. He pretty much said the same thing. The thing I don't understand is that both of these pastors say they don't participate but then both said they would go so someone else's house and do it. How is that not participating? Just because you're not doing it in your own home and choosing to do it in someone else's home doesn't mean you're not doing it. Both said they don't give gifts but they would recieve them. Hmmm
The tree of life was one of the first types of Jesus in the old testament, it is found in three places in scripture, the cross was more often called "The tree" ,the angels celebrated his birth, the shepherds celebrated his birth , Mary and Joseph celebrated his birth , the wise-men celebrated his birth with gifts and I celebrate his birth and I am fairly certain God the father celebrated his birth , yes the world has commercialized it but even worse religionist dismiss it as pagan !
We are to celebrate the Living God everyday.
But what did Jesus say later…remember me in my death: the Lord’s supper. Of course, I celebrate that Jesus was born but it doesn’t need to be on a day decided by the world. It’s everyday.
Did they celebrate it every year? That was a historical account of the incarnation. Where is His birthday celebrated again in the Bible?
Dude, you're out of touch of reality, because Santa Cluas is WAY before the Department stores.
Believers and followers of christ should not celebrate Santa claus, Rudolph the red nose reindeer etc.....having a feast and gathering for christ should be fine although there is nothing in the bible that commands us to celebrate the birth of christ I cant imagine god being displeased with people who do.
Im still figuring this out but here below is some of my notes on the study i did regarding Deut 16'Feast of Booths'. I welcome godly encouragement and admonishment according to scripture and let iron sharpen iron in Jesus Christ name. Amen. :)
Do we have permission in the bible from celebrating the old testament festival of booths and applying the principles to our new testament non biblical Christmas celebration?
What do we see in the knowledge of the manger? The One who was put in the trough of cattle. Yet The One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Who was shamed, humiliated, lied about, totured and put to death blamelessly...because He was born to take our shame and humiliation... that our shame, humiliation and life might be cleansed and forgiven to them who will believe, love, serve and follow Him with all their heart, soul and mind, who choose Him as LORD and Savior above all things in their life.
Festival of Booths:
What did they do during this?
-they rejoiced, they had fun, a celebration. Celebrating is not celebrating IF you're not feeling it. So to celebrate is to feel the joy.
Celebrating Jesus is not our party. Its not throwing our own parties or having fun without Him in it/throughout it because it's Jesus Christ party and we need to celebrate Him and what He has done for us only. Because this is all about Him and nothing about us. Deut 16. Festival of Booths.
-lasted 7 days.
-A time to rejoice in what God has done.
- the one festival according to Gods calendar where God commanded the people to have joy, rejoice, be joyful in.
-commanded of sacrifices and instructed by the rabbis for them and their households to do nothing for 7 days that makes you sad and to engage in only things that make you glad-all those in your household are to participate and to only rejoice, no sadness.
-if you kept the feast which the LORD commanded them and the place He chose for them, then, He would bless them and all their produce and all the work of their hands so that they would be altogether joyFul.
-Buy your good things, feast on them, get the splendid fruit from the splendid trees and bring all these sacrifices before the LORD w/prayer and thanksgiving, feast and eat and share in joy and rest and rest in these things for 7 days. Dont be a workaholic or engage in busyness. Rest in this time and feast with joy. This is a command. Take time away from your ordinary work. Take a rest from what you normally do. Unless it is the one who is throwing the cebration but even they can are commanded to still feast and find time to rest with joy.
-Go to bed full and tired and be altogether joyFul.
Celebration in the light of the biggest miracle EVER...the incarnation of Jesus Christ and celebrating THAT is o.k.
What If you dont like Christmas because its man made...you have permission
What If you don't like celebrating Christmas because of it's commercialism...let the world and those of it do what they do because it has nothing to do with the celebration of the incarnation of Jesus Christ. This alone is what one must celebrate.
What If you dont feel like it...You must. If your going to celebrate then celebrate Jesus. This is the only worthy reason to celebrate. And one must rest as a part of celebrating in it.
How does this distinguish our Christian celebration from the Worlds celebration- How if we are going to do a celebration of Jesus birth, how do we do this and it not do what the workd does by just some wordly fun, food, ugly sweater and gifts fest?
-have your party, your celebration, cook and bake your food.
-BUT do this with a disciplined and intentional mind and heart that continually recognizes and shows action in that what your doing this in awe and honor of the greatest thing...Jesus birth 2000yrs ago! and we are called to do this before the LORD and unto the LORD.
How do we make this tangible? To do the things that everything we think of theologically is about giving thanks to The LORD. WE are to be and show thankfulness and sanctification through the process. Glorifying God in all of it. Paul said in Timothy, do all things "by prayer and thanksgiving"
See also Jer 10:2-3. Note. Don't do as the heathens do.
Thank you for your friendly and humble heart and wanting to discuss these matters! This is how it should be❤
To my understanding, the Feasts of God were set apart as holy convocations, (meaning people consecrate themselves and do no work on those days, fast, make sacrifices, eat feasts), and they're prophetic shadows of what is to come. Ex. Passover foretells Jesus' marriage to the bride, Feast of trumpets foretells his return, Feast of Tabernacles is when he sets up his thousand year reign on earth, Etc. When Jesus sets up his thousand year reign, the Earth will return to celebrating these feasts and sabbaths.
People consider Christmas holy by human opinion but it wasn't invented by God. It's the Roman Vatican's history of mixing sacred with pagan and they took the compromise so far it started undermining scripture (see Catechism).
That aside, nothing wrong with celebrating man-made holidays that commemorate good things like veterans, independence, labor days, etc. Those holidays don't involve engaging with any pagan entities in particular.
Overall my main point is:
Some government holidays are meaningful with good values, but I would not put them on the same level as God's holy feasts. That includes Christmas (which was developed by the ancient Roman government). It's the dubious pagan rituals and fabricated history concerns some believers. The Vatican makes no secret about changing calendars, dates times and seasons to suit their narrative. Even changing the identities and attributes of certain biblical figures like Mary, Peter, etcetera.
This is just where I'm at so far. Everyone is in a different place in their faith walk, it's important to just keep studying the scripture as, spending time with God and the Holy Spirit will Reveal everything in their proper time. The priority is the Great Commission and spreading the gospel. I used to think I had to know everything, but sometimes too much knowledge is a burden and it can hinder the real purpose and Mission😅 God bless you❤
I think christmas is the modern day golden calf. However what if i dont attach God to christmas, and i just see it as a recreational activity to hang out with family? Is that wrong still?
I personally do not celebrate christmas, my personal journey led me to this place. Everyone is in a different place in their faith walk. I think everybody should stick close to God, study the Bible and allow the Holy Spirit to lead them in all truth. He will sort out all the details from there, the priority is loving God loving others and sending out the gospel. But me for example, if someone gives me a Christmas gift or invites me to Christmas dinner, I won't reject them. If someone tells me Merry Christmas I simply tell them God bless you but there are no trees or anything in my house, it's just another day for me. I grew up celebrating Christmas so I know how deeply entrenched it is in our culture. It's not my job to change people's traditions or behavior, it's the Holy Spirit's. If you do not feel any conviction about this holiday, don't stress.
*Since Christmas is pagan & unbiblical, Christians should too question the unbiblical Trinity & ahistorical church doctrine of the Incarnation which were also believed by the same pagans who celebrated the winter solstice.*
Christ should be in every holiday ! I strongly disagree leave christ in every thing every holiday all the time 🙂
It is obvious that you don't read the prophets very often and therefore have little understanding. People who listen to you should realize that this is the blind leading the blind.
I don't celebrate any holidays. Christmas especially. Pagan. Now I know I'm right. Nimrod? No thanks.
I enjoy Christmas without worshiping a tree or marching around it and fornicating like the Catholic-bashers claim. I would not deny my kids the joy of receiving gifts either. Do you think kids will embrace Christianity when they see all their friends with gifts and they have none because of being a Christian? You are wrong if you think that it is OK to have Christ in your life every day but not for Christmas. As a Christian you still have to live in this world and not be overtaken by it. BTW I was raised Catholic which gave me an early knowledge of the Bible, but I did not agree with some of their customs like the worship of Mary for one. I was saved 40 years ago but I will never bash Catholics like so many "Good Christians" do. Remember, Blessed are the Peacemakers.
Most of this video was pretty good, until he came across something that has me stumped. "As long as you keep Christ out of Christmas I think you'll be okay." As Christians aren't we supposed to keep Christ in every day of our life, so much so that people will begin to see Him and not us? But then Christmas rolls around and he wants us to keep Christ out of Christmas? It doesn't make sense.
So keep Christ out of it and it's ok? Really? So just go ahead and celebrate something that the Bible said specifically not to do? "Give the devil his due"? Wow! This guy is so wrong in so many ways and is trying to lead Christians astray. Christians do your own research.
Its all the something, tomato tomahto... Idols, images, Christmas and Santa Claus its all Idol worship... Telling your kids Santa Claus is real is a lie from. Hell
I remember listening to a message on this topic and the pastor said. “That you bow down to put the gift under the tree and you bow down to retrieve the gift”. Similar to yoga the poses are meant to honor other gods but a believer will think it’s harmless because they are simply stretching. Something to ponder on. Shalom
So true it was talked about idolatry they cut tree they decorate it but it cannot moved neither walk or hear. Dont be confused with this simple verse dont let satan confuse you. I think you are so focused on the word decorate just like decorating christmas tree. The best way to understand is to read all the verses do. Same as the verse " the love of money is the root of all evil" if you dont read he whole verse yoy can say " money is the root of all evil" read the whole chapter or verse
The Bible refers to it in Jeremiah in chapter 10 as a wooden idol.
I appreciate your trying to be politically correct but I disagree with your permissive stance on the tree- the Lord said do not do this- don’t go cut a tree and deck it with silver and gold- he did not say it is ok as long as you do not bow down to it. With all due respect brother, God will hold you liable if you steer some in the wrong direction because of your lukewarm advice.
I thought Jesus said not to celebrate the day of his birth because he did nothing when he was born, but I cannot find this in scripture anymore
except Jeremiah is talking about making an idol to worship a false god, not a Xmas tree, read the whole passage and take the whole counsel of God. This passages speaks of carving the tree into a into a wooden form and covering it in gold and silver, and carrying it around and praying to it, how is this a Xmas tree? It is not. Xmas trees only date form the mid fifteenth century and Martin Luther, they are not from the time of Jeremiah. Now In Christian freedom you can if you want to have a tree, or not . Who prays to a Xmas tree, No one?
Hey Michael,
I really enjoy your teaching through Romans. Now some other stuff that steps out of Biblical truth and is only opinion I'm not so sure. Still you have a lot of time in the word and I appreciate your willingness to share. Christmas and other such stuff is up to the individual before God.
What we have to understand as believers we are the hate what God hates and love what God loves in the beginning of Jeremiah 10 it says Hear the word which the Lord speaks to you O house of Israel thus says the Lord Do not learn the ways of the Gentiles this is not to be argued nor should be it be a hangup for the believer we are to hate what God hates in love with the love and if he tells us not to do something as obedient children we are to listen so do not be caught up in these holidays be holy for I am holy says the lord he’s coming back for a bride without spot or wrinkle or blemish. these are spots in your love feast. be wise as serpents and softest doves.
I might say it is okay to celebrate the birth of Christ in principle but it has been made pagan and commercialized to the point it hurts future generations
i agree with you but giving gifts is okay to me because God loves a giver
I appreciate his truth and sharing the Truth's Word as well
I think this guy is giving people an excuse to celebrate these pagan holidays.
I think you explained it perfectly. My house does the same. We have these holidays but we celebrate our Lord every day. Be blessed brother!
You lost me Mike. Followed you videos a lot during my coming to the faith and early walk in Crist. You're defending Xmas, Halloween, valentines etc. which are ALL pagan / satanic / polytheistic celebrations. None of them are fine to celebrate for a Qodeshim, a set apart believer, for we are called out of the world, are we not? To be enemies of this fallen, corrupted world. May Elohim be with you always and guide you back to the Truth in our Saviour.
Dont follow the way of tradition of men
Rome celebrated December 25th as the birth of Metra who was born full grown in a cave with a knife
He's right don't get too legalistic and self righteous about it. There are pictures in your home that reflect worldly culture you don't need to take them down unless they cause you to stumble.
Decorations in the house on Dec 25 is nothing more than tradition. But like the man says once it becomes more than that, that is when it must go.
Christmas could be viewed as an opportunity to come together and possibly share Christ with loved ones. Getting together these days does not happen much and if Christmas gets people together and there is no idolatry then go for it. Some good might come of it.
Thank you for explaining this , bc I don’t celebrate anything except Christ Jesus memorial bc he said to keep doing this in remembrance of me , not bunnies and eggs bc that is from the pagans ! Celebrate the most important thing and that is Jesus’ death ! Why he died for us !
Did he say Halloween????
Do not learn the ways of the nations.
Dont celebrate Christmas
Our family always celebrated the birth of our savior. Never heard of this pagen stuff.
Then you don't read the word of god :/ cuz you should have heard of it. Satan blinds us in many ways. And not making enough time to read his word is one of them :/ demons have power where ppl dont know the word. The word is knowledge and spiritual knowledge is power. Without it we're walking down the wide path, not the narrow that only FEW will enter.. sayith the lord :/ please read and pray! 🙏
We do celebrate Christmas always have...We dont worship any thing and I believe that was what he was getting at..He to me is saying to every 1s conviction ...He at his home or church doesn't...I do let my young grandchildren know that Santa is not real which they know by now and what we have what we give all comes from the Lord on any day ..I did think it interesting as I really never thot about it that Satan does move more so on certain holidays such as Christnas and New Yrs...Until Christ convicts me not to celebrate Christmas any more I will but I wont put my mangers out any more as that's when I'm putting the Lord in it...some thing i do need to pray about for sure...eye opener
I enjoy the Christmas season even though it is over commercialized. But I feel as if it is important to put Jesus first. I personally have no problem with people using a day to bring people to Christ. The problem is when people go to church and use church to feel better about themselves.
@ Buster 5ive , The reason to go to the church / building is to Worship THE ONE LORD ALMIGHTY GOD THE FATHER ,THE SON ,THE HOLY SPIRIT ---- THE DIVINE ,HOLY ,RIGHTEOUS , MAJESTIC ----- GODHEAD , Genesis 1V.26 ---- ******* NOT all People ,Believers go to Feel better about themselves. ----- besides ,We are instructed to meet together. --- The assembly of Believers --- ****** of course many in the church are Not thus (. BORN AGAIN ) in CHRIST by THE HOLY SPIRIT --- John 3 ---- *******AS re. Christians WE ARE The " Body of CHRIST " ----- ******* Some / Many in the Church / are Not thus saved & ( Born Again ) in CHRIST ----- Across the world. ----
Beware of wolves in sheeps clothing.
He is on target but hedges with going to family members’ homes who are celebrating Christmas. You can’t say Christmas is not biblical and still participate in it.
Fair point i prefer to have no part of it I don't want to slap God in the face celebrating these pagan holidays but that is how I feel anybody else can do whatever they like is not my responsibility two police them religiously it is up to God
sorry ,but you lack a good deal of infos
first of all the Christmas was celebrated in 7 January in Catholic and Orthodox churches
and latter in west after some correction in calendar moved to December
2nd the Constantine in fact didn't embrace christiany he himself got babtized in his last days ,in fact he declared a tolerance to Christianity
3d the santa cluze thing is a real historical figure he was Syriac Bishop (please do search for clothing of Syriac bishops) love kids and used to gives the a 🎁
worse mentioned, that the Christmas celebrated in East was called in old books incarnation of word feast
even Christmas word may be originated from Coptic language meaning Christ birth as mas means birth in Coptic language
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the vast majority, if not all, of those who condemn celebrating Christmas as pagan, probably wear wedding rings if they are married. Do you know where the custom of wearing wedding rings comes from?
The Christmas tree is pagan worship, Christmas is worship of saint Christopher.
Don't worship Easter, Christmas, Halloween, or valentine's day. All pagan holidays.
Acts tells us to abstain from things polluted by idolatry. This isn't the old Law folks. It's one of the few new covenant commands we are given. Weather we bow to it or not there is still an idolatrous stain upon it. It doesn't matter how big or old of a stain. Like keeping a dreamcatcher just because it's pretty.
I just celebrate my Lord year round.
Lukewarm
Sorry but y'all are looking too deep into it. Christmas is about REMEMBERING KEYS and giving each other gifts.
If you must know Jesus Christ buddy we September 11...
😲😳😰 yeah, the same day demons and devils cider to try to share the scar is.
I wish the Lord happy birthday on that day, but I celebrate Christmas and go out of my way to be loving and kind like Him.
It doesn't matter what day of the year I honor Him, that's every day to me.
God ordained feasts/holidays for Jews. I can think of 4 days we should celebrate: Jesus's birth and resurrection, Pentecost, and Thanksgiving.
Wow, I knew December 25th was a day of Nimrod, but didn’t know the history.
Thank you.
I don’t highly esteem Christmas already, but now I won’t have any regard for it at all from now on.
I find Bible teachings to be honest and Bible backed with true facts, this enlightens me with the true teachings, wonderful!
Tree and Santa etc...are bad not so much because they are harmful to us...As of such we have the word..1Cor 8:1
Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that “We all possess knowledge.” But knowledge puffs up while love builds up. 2 Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know. 3 But whoever loves God is known by God.[a]
4 So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that “There is no God but one.” 5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), 6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
7 But not everyone possesses this knowledge. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled. 8 But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.

The above verse clearly means that something of direct utility in our lives are okay even if they have been offered to idols...
But, keeping aside the rubbish Santa and trees, the Christmas celebration we see today is just a display of materialism and mushy (empty and fleshly) love for one another......this is a reflection of our Laodicea mindset.
Apart from that, use the occassion to study and immerse yourself (and others) in scriptures surrounding the first advent of the Lord.... Read and meditate on messianic passages of Isaiah (esp Chapters 7, 9, and 40 onwards), Matthew 1&2, Luke 1&2... The Lord will definitely bless you...He has done so of many true believers in the past on the occasion of the "Christmas" (or whatever).
And, is there a better opportunity than this to tell the pagan world WHY they need the Son of God coming from heaven to save them?
His name will be called "Jesus" because He will save his people from their sins.
Amen, Lord.
By the way michael....Santa Clause was not invented by Madison Avenue...St Nicholas was a 4th Century Bishop of Myra to whom Christly living is attested, and who was perhaps the most beloved saint throughout the Middle Ages and Renaissance......there are more than 1800 churches dedicated to St Nicholas......please get your Church history correct will you?
This was a terrible understanding of the word, and how is Thanksgiving holy?
I am hoping the body of Christ could come to the realization that Jesus left us one thing to do in rememberance of him, anything else is from the evil one and its corrupted Catholic church. Matthew 15:3 says ..Why then do yourselves violate the Commandments of God because of your tradition?... Halloween we know is evil and dark but Christmas pretends to be light but is far away from it. Christians lie to their children, put a pagan tree in their home, put sacrifices under it, put up (Catholic church) idols and call them decorations, become a hypocrite and be joyful that one day...Jesus say that we must change (born again) that means that we do not do it for a holiday but for the rest of your life. Be giving, be holy, be joyful, all these things God wants you to be year round. Repent and turn away from it because it is not from your Lord that you received this but from pagan tradition which the Lord warned us about.
For a lot of people, traditions are their idolatry. Anything you put before the Lord Jesus is idolatry. They cannot imagine getting such traditions out of their lives. Therefore they’ve placed their traditions before the Lord Jesus
Hi...
Romans 12:2 - ² Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Do not imitate the things that the worldly people do.
How can you leave price out of Christmas really and celebrate Christmas really man you are deceiving these people wake up people the Greeks and the Romans invented Christmas
Oof I'd hate to be half the Christians in this comment section... Y'all don't need to live a sad life to have a relationship with Christ... My Lord knows my struggles and knows the enjoyments of life keep me from ending it all. I want to make sure my life is lived to make sure my kiddo and family are saved and the happy moments on earth to make sure they learn about Christ is we'll worth my life.
Bible says NOT to adopt the customs of the pagans or the nations around them. If you dont find a Torah teaching about Christmas, Halloween, ect, then it is not from God, but instead a tradition or custom of pagan nations. It's funny that there are many God ordained feasts, festivals, celebrations in Torah that no Christians bother to learn or partake in. Everything Christians do, is traditions of pagan origins. Doing the exact opposite of what God in Torah said not to do.
Christmas is pagan.Even the atheists know this. Its not biblical and it's " teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."
Any encyclopedia will tell you this so to those who believe Christ is in Christmas , you are deceived. If God wanted the birthday of Christ to be honored He would have said so by giving us the day of his birth and how to celebrate it but He didn't.To the ministers who teach Christmas as doctrine, you are teaching a lie and to those who celebrate it, you are living a lie.
Jesus only said to do one thing in his memory...he said this at the last supper....aaand dont do what suits you....do what suits Christ...and thanksgiving is one of the worst holidays for what it represents....I find it interesting that when it comes to hell you don't bend in the slightest way shape or form but when it comes to holidays you bend all over the place... I know you're human but this one you dropped the ball I feel....
Why not just answer the question, instead of dancing around it, oh I know why, because it’s not in you to tell the truth and it clearly proves that the Bible was written to the Israelites and not everybody and that just the painful truth.
Nope the tree is a tree only a blind person would not understand that Spirit
Why would we not celebrate Christ's birth? Now granted his birth probably wasn't in December. But Christmas is my favorite holiday! It's a sacred time. But I have a tree and live shopping for my siblings. Christ out of Christmas?! Good grief
Christmas tree is not in the Bible, Bible is not in the Bible, trinity is not in the Bible, mass is not in the Bible, still we all use these words. Looking at my grand parents decorated photo does not mean i worshipping them, so i don't think papa God is angry with us of the words we use that i mention above.
Repent and turn away and do not love the world and the things of this world for Yahuah will burn it up one day and all it's idols.
I pray in Yahusha hamashiach name that you will truly be awaken so that many will come to the truth the living truth that can set the captive's free.
I known it a pagan tradition but when you tried to tell people that they are wrong and to read the Bible they discredit the Bible and make you feel like your one of those crazy messiah Yashua followers
It's the same thing with the Christmas tree being idolized been worship just in a different way decking it come on now don't be so naive
Christmas is a pagan holiday. The cross is also pagan. So Christian's should not celebrate it
After God created everything, God saw that every thing was good, why God did not say good but there will be bad in the future.
I love it when Christians have different convictions and acknowledge that it's okay if we all have different ones! :)
Amen!! Our unity and love and grace to one another is so much more important 😊 as long as we do everything (including teaching and correcting) in love, God is pleased. God bless you. ☺
True Christianity isn't make up of your own mind. It's the word of god. And if anyone spent time reading the whole Bible, they would know that this isn't good rather than guessing. We don't go ANYWHERE that we can't take christ. That's the devil talking. And anyone who feels diff loves their earthly treasures and fun more than they love God. Thats why wide is the gate to hell and narrow is the gate to heaven that FEW will enter! (if we love each other we won't let each other go down that path! :/ ) if you dont belive that then you don't belive the bible and you aren't Christian whether ud like to say so or not :/ the Bible talks about TRUE saints and that there is only one word so we should all be in agreeance about everything and be in one mind together. But we fight because of selfishness and excuses and offenses we take to the truth when ppl try to help, that the demons bring us.. and my heart is heavy because of it :(
God is clearly talking about decorating a tree tell me what person makes a sculpture out of the tree and then fastens it with nails
Christmas pagan holiday is of the world we are not of the world end of story
