    HI if we're making this recipe with just regular flour can we add almond or vanilla extract to the mixture?

      Hi there I personally haven’t used regular flour to make macaron shells before. However you should be able to add a flavoring to the shell, you don’t want to add a lot of liquid to the meringue as it could make the shells brittle. Perhaps a vanilla bean paste or if you have vanilla sugar you can substitute that for the sugar in this recipe. I hope this helps and your macarons turn out well 😊

      The recipe in the description box I can normally make 24+ macarons with in the size I like. In this video I only show piping half the batch so one tray and filling only 8 🙂
