Okay so,i made these yesterday and I don’t even know where to start. I’m 16 & i’ve tried making macarons twice before,the last time i used Tasty’s recipe and failed badly. My macarons melted and I hadn’t recovered from that heartbreak since then. But then,after reading such good comments about these,i gave them a try. And I don’t even know where to start. I’m just too overwhelmed while writing this. I can’t even type because I’m literally on top of this world,no kidding. These literally were the BESTTTT MACARONS I HAVE EVER TRIED IN MY WHOLE LIFE. & let me tell ya’ll something,i have eaten a whole lot of macarons before. But trust me,they were just too good & I don’t even know how to thank you Jemma. Please just don’t hesitate a bit before trying them. Trust me,this recipe is life changing. It will boost up your confidence constantly,if you follow the steps accurately. I even did some mistakes but guess what,these could not have been better. Please please please try them please. They are sooo flavourful and literally perfect. I even sent some photos of them to Jemma on Instagram.. i just hope that she replies. One thing i know is that i’m never buying macarons anymore. I’ll always make my own & let people praise me!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH JEMMA FOR THESE. YOU WILL THINK IM EXAGGERATING AND ITS NOT THAT BIG BUT MAKE THEM YOURSELF AND YOU WILL KNOW! Thank you for showing what the egg whites should look like BEFORE the sugar goes in. That's always been my macaron problem. Hollow. Hopefully, it works out next time I try them. :)
That was strange for me , how the peak is not stiff !! Cos everg videos I watched they said stiff peak , here its floppy!!! But in ghd other hand the whole process hd used here is new for me , so definitely iwill try it, thanks for the video
After watching this video and the masterclass one, I decided to try making the chocolate macarons for the first time. They are PERFECT! The only thing that needs some work is my piping technique, but otherwise they are amazing, they have this smooth look, have the little feet and taste great. Thanks so much for these videos! :)

I made these without a thermometer (because my baby brother lost it the 2nd time lol) and it worked perfect but only because I’ve made macarons before I wouldn’t recommend it and would opt saving for a thermometer. Dane’s skin is always glowing 🥺 he’s absolutely stunning

After being obsessed with baking Macarons and several failed attempts, finally, I could do it thanks to you guys. I am very very happy with my Macarons with their cute feet (even though they are not all the same size). Just a simple tip, after the baking is finished, dont try to remove them from the baking paper immediately, let them cool first.

Some great pastry chefs don't let macaroons dry and they go straight to the oven. Osvaldo Gross says it's not necessary and he's one of the greatest pastry chefs in Latin America.

One question though, I noticed the measurements of ingredients in this recipe are slightly different from the measurements of ingredients in the macaron masterclass. Is this because you have tweaked the recipe since the masterclass was filmed, as I realise this was a few years back? Thanks
I made them twice now, and they turned out really super! The swiss meringue makes a big difference. Many recipes on UA-cam don't use sugar sirup. And thanks for all the other macaron recipes on you channel. Watching them all in a row gave me so many useful tips to make really good macarons!
Dane is such a cutie and knows his stuff!! I made the chocolate caramel sauce and first time it siezed up and was ruined. The second time I did i made sure to scald the cream. If its not hot or warm it will sieze and be a mess.. ALso use good real chocolate, i used a 100% bakers chocolate, and it turned out good it was balanced by the sugar.

I see you have clips on the sheets, how do those not melt?! Thats a serious question lol What size circles did you pipe the macs? Do you bake on convection?
