    How could you have known 7 years ago what was going to happen to me today? Genuinely moved 😭 Thank you, I hope I fix things 🤞🏻

    This actually brought a tear to my eye. Brad, your thoughtful articulation of the issues is a light to those of us trudging through the fog of cognitive dissonance. Blessings to you, my friend.

      Brought a tear to my eye as well, particularly around the part about feeling like not having punished myself enough

    This was such a bad habit for me growing up! I've learned how to overcome it and do what I need to do for the most part, but it's so nice knowing there is someone who wants to stop me from feeling this way and putting myself through the wringer for no good reason.

    I enjoy many of your tapping videos, but this really helped me today as I made a horrible mistake that caused someone pain. I was beside myself until I did this several times. It was quite comforting. Thank you!

    Yesterday I feel I made myself look like a fool in front of a coworker. For context, there was a holiday chocolate bar that had a rip in its packaging, not compromising the bar itself. Only the presentation of it. And with it being an item that is likely giftable for the season, I brought it to him, with an emphasis on desiring it to be comped because I wanted to try it. Side note. It bothers me that companies dont offer free samples to those that sell ot, or smaller sizes. I am happily a chocolate addict and when trying a new chocolate, I'd much rather have a smaller portion sample size for sale than needing to spend money on the full bar, which I may not even like. Anyways, my coworker happens to be a really nice guy. When he was leaving, I had asked what he had done with it. He told me he likes to leave that kinda thing for management to make a decision on. Makes sense. I could easily pay for the chocolate bar, I told him. It's not a problem. He was understanding and said, "yeah but you dont wanna pay for it". I kept on thinking to myself now I'll be remembered as the girl who wanted a free chocolate bar, and would do anything for a free one. Hahaha I am laughing as I type this bcs I am making it be so much more than what it was. So what if I desired a free chocolate bar. It's not the end of the world I feel I looked like a fool either, and desperate. It's not the end of the world I didnt get the chocolate.
    But man on man, the repercussions about thinking and thinking about this situation... so I messed up. So what?
    The things I think matter so much... when in 5 years... will this little scenario really be that important to me?
    Hahaha anyone reading I hope you had a laugh at my little story.

    I was scrolling through thinking how the heck do I even articulate what it is I'm looking for here? Then I saw this video and I just laughed to myself. That's it! I think it helped, I'll probably need to do it about another hundred 97 times...BIG Mistake a few years ago, and tremendous procrastination in dealing with the fallout. Anyway thank you!!!

    • @wisconsinfarmer4742
      @wisconsinfarmer4742 6 років тому +1

      Yes the procrastination. Avoiding the issue just to try to function day to day because the bad feelings while dealing with it are crushing.

      Actually Brad this video helped me immeasurably without other situation That I was tapping about several years ago. It was actually almost miraculous - a resolution that was more favorable than I had hoped for presented itself to me with no effort after I did this. Hopefully it will help with the reason I tapped out it again tonight. Thank you for all that you do.

    thanks for this video Brad, I've just bombed my interview and couldn't stop bashing myself, and apparently I'm going into turbo bashing mode this time because your video felt way too short! so... I'm going to check out the resource vault at the MagTappers Club now!

    • @tapwithbrad
      @tapwithbrad  5 років тому +1

      Yup - plenty of tapping in there to help you move through the upset. You can't feel bad enough to change what has happened, but in setting yourself free you can find beneficial clarity.... and you deserve that. :)
