- Pakistan Ambassador to the UN Munir Akram has said Israel’s occupation and killing of Palestinians “is the original sin” and not what happened on Oct 7.
He passed these remarks during a UN General Assembly session, where a resolution calling for a “humanitarian truce” in Gaza was adopted.
“We all know who started this. It is 50 years of Israeli occupation and the killing of Palestinians with impunity,” he said.

As an American of Indian descent, I agree. The sin was committed by the Brits by promising European Jews a homeland in Palestine. It would have been noble for the Brits to give them some land in Europe but nothing noble about giving them someone else's land. If the Germans committed atrocities against the Jews during WW2, then some of the German lands should have been given as reparations for Israel. The Europeans rid the Jews of Europe and placed them in the middle of the Muslim world.

Way was quite clear and smooth this time for 57 Muslim countries to participate in the war. For the first time in history, Unlike Yamen, Syria, and Iraq tension, no muslim country is in Israeli block this time. So no excuse left.
