@Nikah Talaq Halala The Quran is Unchanged, if you read old Bibles, or the Torah, you will find much more heinous things written in it. especially the Torah. You can pull out as many verses and nit-pick them but you won't find anything better in the other holy books from a thousand years ago. Bible and the Torah can be re-written and are constantly changing whereas the Quran cannot. The attrocities commited in the name of the other holy books outweigh anything islam has done. (E.G Chistrianity Crusades- Ancient hebrews attacking people of Canaan.) what Israel is doing to Palestine today (is allowed according to the Torah btw). The bible promoted the hate of black people, gay people and the punishment for adultery is death...... in fact most punishments were death, even for stealing unless you convert (repent)..... and and don't forget the avid followers of the bible have always twisted their own verses- like the Nazi's did to justify and kill millions Jewish people, start the crusades to force people to convert. So you see what you are trying to incite is no different from what any other human being is trying to justify. it is in our very nature to kill one another, to hate eachother for being different all to compete for survival.

@piyush Sharma Their are rules and stories that are similar in both Old and New testament, Even Jesus Christ in new testament said exact same things as mentioned in Old Testamant, Does that proves that New testament was copied from old testament? Similarly, Quran confirms some stories of Old and New Testamant but also corrects some and reject some. Islam claims that most of the bible has been corrupeted and fabricated (which is confirmed by some Christian scholars too).
I didn't understood what you were trying to say about marrying christans but Muslims can marry Christians and jews without them reverting or converting to Islam (Because we kinda follow the same god, just different believes, they are considered as the people of books).
@piyush Sharma What I'm saying that everything written in the holy books or any kind of scripture is reinterpreted to suit the needs of the person who wants to abuse them. Using religion as a mean for political gain, it should never be used in such a way.... But we use everything written to justify killing eachother. To make it "okay" to hate. Make it okay to view Christians, Jewish, Islamic as second class citizens. You can go to Pakistan and be christian but the Muslim people don't want you to come to their house. You can go to America as a Muslim and be looked at with scrutiny and be stopped at every airport because of your name or be randomly selected. You can be Hindu come to America and be made fun of for having a red dot on your forehead. We use texts and words of the past to justify and seperate eachother from "us and them" like right now how the western media shows jo empathy for the Palestinians people because they think of "us and them" because of long campaigns to fuel hate for muslims they justify Israels actions. It is in our very nature to. hate its ingrained in our cultures, anicent tribal mentalities just evolved to suit our modern needs.

@piyush Sharma i think you're getting the meaning of secularism wrong. Secularism is a separation away from religion. And my point is that since a lot of people have strayed away from their religious teachings, that has caused them to be self-centred. People are more arrogant these days. I just think if people practiced their religious beliefs the way it is meant to be, then everyone would get along much better. Of course there will be disagreements here and their, but respect would still be there.
