Man this brings back memories!! Senior summer 1978, Kentucky, cruisin down the road in my 72’ Cuda. My girl next to me, windows down, our hair blowing and jamming on Exile. Not a care in the world.
This was quite a hit here in England too in 1978, Jimmy Stockley and the band came over and performed it on BBC Top of the Pops with Tony Blackburn as host, oh happy days! 😃😊
I remember sitting in class in grade 8...math... and I was writing on my blue binder...I wanna kiss you all over... I KNEW...KNEW KNEW KNEW that we would be listening to this song till we were old. It is brilliantly written and sung...there is enough emotion but so much great tension. LOVE YOU GUYS. Thanks for this amazing song and for singing it still!
I used to crank this song up on the Radio Shack Stereo System of the Month in May, 1978! The cute gal from the Walgreens next store would drop by at the same time!
my mom loved this song so much.. i loved it just cause it brought me back to the horse back riding days with my friends.. but later in life, i heard the words, lol.
Loved seeing Exile at the Bear and the Bull in Richmond, KY and The Rebel Room in Lexington, KY many years ago. They also played at my high school gym. Love them!
Massive huge props to these musicians for delivering *those lyrics, to THAT audience.* True professionals. This song came up over the Summer and was on the playlist - so I'm investigating.
