Just a quick note about the air plants you spoke of at the beginning of your video. They do need occasional water - some like a quick misting but others benefit from a 20 minute soak in distilled water every couple of weeks or so. Don’t want your viewers to think they can survive indefinitely without any water whatsoever. They will look their best (no crispy bits and edges) with some watering. Thx!
I haven’t got an air plant but they look fantastic, Olivia has one, I didn’t know that about them, thank you so much for sharing your experience- I’m always learning new things which I love!
Wow what an incredible show!! I think my faves were the forest and the spiral garden. I recently added a few logs to our front yard to start creating a more natural habitat. I appreciate all the work you put into capturing the show, providing such great information & narration and the inspiring chat at the end. Lovely video I so wish I could have visited the show. I was born in Lancashire and Manchester was my go to place for shopping. I worked intermittently in the city and know the building well. I love the vibe of industrial Manchester meeting RHS and gardening.
Sarah Raven took tomato sauce cans and grows mounding basil in them to go on your outside dining table. She says it’s deters pests at your outside table. I’m going to try it.
Great idea to make these inner city green corridors....just stunning and so necessary to bring nature back into people's lives...especially city dwellers. The show was an almost Banksy like setting and great choice too. The inner city forest was my favorite and the moss growing in between the wall and brick, that had no sign but was so natural. Bet you got heaps of inspiration. JO.😊
